TORTURE ROOM B, REBBECA CHAMBERS POV

I looked around the room and saw the door to the hall a few feet away, now I could open the door and go to reunite with (Y/N) and Billy, this place was a nightmare, all of the Zombies and Giant Bugs were not something I trained for, I walked to the door, only for something to hit my back, I screamed as I felt pain in my right shoulder.

I saw black paws on my arms and I quickly shook my body to get it off, I turned and saw what looked like... a Zombie Ape?!

It's fur was white and it had patches of exposed muscle on it's body, it let out a shriek as it sat on it's haunches before springing at me again!

I quickly rolled aside as the Creature landed where I was just stood, I slowly went to stand up while keeping this thing in my sight, this was really bad, is this thing infected? Did it just infect me when it bit me?! This is really bad!

"Rebecca! What's going on? Are you alright?!" I heard (Y/N) call up through the vent, I saw this Ape stalking towards me, it's teeth stained with blood... my blood! But then sudenly there was a rumble, before I felt the ground under me give way! I managed to let out a startled yelp as I fell through the hole that opened up in the floor, however luckily I managed to grab hold of some exposed rebar from a hole in the floor below the one I just fell through.

"I can't... hold on" I said as I struggled to hold onto the rebar, then I looked down, and saw a deep, black abyss below me, my eyes widened in panick, before I quickly activated my Radio.

"Billy! (Y/N)! HELP!!" I cried out loudly, as I felt my grip on the rubble slipping, I hope they'll get here soon!

UNKNOWN LOCATION

"It just doesn't make sense, do you honestly believe this to be the real identity of that crazy young man?" Birkin asked in disbelief, as he walked alongside Wesker, flipping the pages of a dossier that Wesker had pulled up.

"Impossible, but if, somehow, it is true, then Umbrella will be finished" Birkin said, sounding worried about the possibility if having his work compromised.

"If the old conspiracy against Dr. Marcus is revealed, Mr. Spencer's career will be over, not to mention ours, too" Wesker said as he walked with his friend/rival, before they stopped at an elevator.

"So, the time has come at last" Wesker said as he pressed the button to call down the elevator, so that he could exit the underground area of the Umbrella Training Facility, and return to Raccoon City.

"What are you going to do?" Birkin asked Wesker, curious about what he planned to do.

"I will simply say goodbye to Umbrella, the Biological Weapon utilising the T-Virus has almost been completed, our only remaining task is to acquire Combat Data" Wesker said calmly, his face showing no emotion other than the smug smile on his face.

"You can't be serious, I refuse to abandon my work! I have finished the research on the T-Virus, but I need a little more time to complete the more powerful G-Virus" Birkin said in shock and slight outrage, feeling angry at the thought of losing the progress he had made towards completing his life's work, the elevator car soon arrived and the doors slid open.

"Do as you wish" Wesker said to Birkin as he stepped into the elevator car.

"I will follow my initial plan and lure the S.T.A.R.S. Members into the Mansion, their superior combat training should make them the perfect test subjects" Wesker said ending his sentence with a chuckle at the idea of seeing his team fight the Monsters in the Mansion.

"And, what about the girl? Do you still plan to go through with it?" Birkin asked Wesker, as he raised a brow at his friend/rival.

"Of course, her affection towards me makes her the perfect candidate, especially once I infect her with the sample, she just has to reach the Mansion, where I can ensure the results" Wesker said with a smirk on his face.

"And, if one of those Creatures kills her before she reaches the Mansion?" Birkin asked him, Wesker's smirk lowered slightly, but as always, he did have a back up plan in place.

"Well... there is always Miss Chambers, as a potential replacement" Wesker said, though in truth he did want to use (Y/N) more, he had managed to perform more examinations and tests with her than Rebecca, since Rebecca had only recently joined up, and she could potentially have... hidden issues that would eliminate her as a candidate.

"Fine, in the meantime, something must be done about that mad man, as I recall, U.R.C. is equipped with a self-destruct device in the basement, I'll find it, set it off, and annihilate the place to nothing more than a mass of rubble" Birkin said, as the doors to the elevator closed and Wesker took the elevator up.

UMBRELLA TRAINING FACILITY, THIRD PERSON'S POV

"Do you think she's alright in there?" Billy asked you as he glanced up at the vent opening, a small frown on his face showing his concern.

"I'm certain she's alright, she's not a member of S.T.A.R.S. for nothing after all" (Y/N) said as she gave Billy a reassuring smile, but then, they heard Rebecca let out a startled yelp, followed by a pained cry.

"Rebecca! What's going on? Are you alright?!" (Y/N) called up at the vent wide eyed, suddenly getting worried as they heard an inhuman screech and another yelp, before they heard the sound of stone crumbling!

"Oh shit! What was that?!" Billy said, sounding worried as you went to ask him to boost you up so you could climb in and get to her, but then the Radio's burst to life.

"Billy! (Y/N)! HELP!!" Rebecca cried out through the Radio's, a look of worry flashed through both of their eyes.

"Come on!" Billy said as he ran to the door, with (Y/N) quickly following, the two ran into the next room, only for an Eliminator to try attacking them!

"Ignore the Monkey! We gotta get to Rebecca!" (Y/N) said as they ran through the small room, ignoring the Eliminator and getting back into the hall with the two dead Giant Spiders.

"Rebecca! What happened? Are you under attack?" (Y/N) asked her urgently as they ran into the Monitor Room, planning to get into the room Rebecca was in and help her, but when they reached the door, they found that it was locked!

"The floor collapsed! I can't hold on much longer!" Rebecca shouted through the Radio that was clipped to her belt.

"Billy, we have to find another way down to Rebecca! Come on!" (Y/N) said, Billy nodded his head and they both quickly grabbed the ammo in the room and left to search for an alternate way down.

The two of them quickly ran back to the Main Hall and sprinted through the facility, making their way to the boiler Room, running past or quickly shooting Zombies and Eliminators to reach Rebecca, until soon enough they yanked open the door and saw Rebecca barely hanging on!

"Rebecca!!" (Y/N) shouted as she and Billy ran to the large hole in the floor and Billy quickly reached down and grabbed Rebecca's hand, just before she could fall! Then (Y/N) reached down with her hand and Rebecca grabbed her hand, then both Billy and (Y/N) pulled Rebecca back up onto safe ground.

"Thank you both, (Y/N), Billy" Rebecca said as she was trying to calm her rettled nerves, yet another near-death experience to add to the list of near-death experiences so far this night.

"No problem Becca" (Y/N) said as she gave the girl a smile, feeling very relieved that they had managed to save her before she plunged to her doom.

"Don't mention it, just keeping my word, we promised to cooperate with each other, remember?" Billy said as he sat with his back to Rebecca, suddenly, Rebecca's Radio beeped and she stood herself up and took the Radio off to answer the call.

"This is Rebecca, I'm with (Y/N), over" Rebecca said into the Radio, before she let the button go to hear the response.

"Rebecca, this is Enrico, have you and (Y/N) managed to locate Coen yet? Over" Enrico asked over the Radio, Billy slowly stood up from the floor and (Y/N) looked at Rebecca, waiting to see what she would do, though if she ratted Billy out, she'd be very disappointed.

"Rebecca, (Y/N), answer me" Enrico said, (Y/N) reached down to her Radio to answer instead, but...

"No, sir, we haven't found him yet, we'll continue to search for him, over" Rebecca said, (Y/N) was quite surprised about this, she was covering for Billy now, guess she must be starting to trust him.

"Rebecca..." Billy said, sounding surprised that she didn't tell her Captain about him, as Rebecca put her Radio back on her belt.

"Wow, Chambers, didn't expect you to like Billy that much" (Y/N) teased the younger girl, smirking at her as her cheeks went pink.

"(Y/N), S-Stop it!" Rebecca said, embarrassed at (Y/N)'s teasing.

"My first mission and I've already disobeyed orders, so much for my great law enforcement career, ih well, probably won't live long enough to worry about it" Rebecca said as she looked at Billy and (Y/N), looking a little doubtful of her survival.

"Hey, you did the right thing, Becca, besides... you'll have plenty of time to make up for it, once we're all out of here" (Y/N) said as she patted Rebecca's shoulder, giving her a reassuring smile.

"She's right, we'll watch each other's backs and we'll make it out of here alive" Billy said to Rebecca seriously, Rebecca had a look on her face like she was about to ask something important.

"Billy... I just need to know, I need to know the truth, did you kill twenty-three people?" Rebecca asked him, as she had a look of sympathy and concern on her face.

"Rebecca..." (Y/N) said warningly, not wanting Rebecca to start trouble after everything they've been through so far.

"I'm not going to judge him, I just want to know the truth" Rebecca said, as she looked to Billy, showing that she was ready to hear his side of the story, Billy looked uncomfortable before he let out a resigned sigh.

"It was around this time last year..." Billy began, sounding pained, like he was reliving a horrible memory, (Y/N) recognised it as PTSD, whatever it was he went through... it affected Billy badly.

"Our unit was ordered to Africa to intervene in a civil war, our mission was to raid a hideout of some guerrilla forces located deep inside the jungle, but the hideout was far away from our entry point" Billy explained, (Y/N) listened closely to his story along with Rebecca.

"Some died from the heat, others were killed by the enemy, in the end... only four of us survived" Billy said, with a far away look in his eyes as he remembered that assignment, a frown on his face as he remembered the friends and teammates he lost in that Jungle.

"Only, there was no guerrilla hideout" Billy said, his voice now getting low and angry.

"What do you mean?" Rebecca asked, sounding concerned while (Y/N) waited as well.

"The idiots in charge had us operating based on wrong information, but we couldn't just go back home empty-handed, oh no, out Leader ordered us to attack an innocent village" Billy said, his face showing his outrage, guilt and sadness, the heat and the stress from their time in the Jungle must have gotten to those men, and the loss of so many of their team must have also contributed to this.

"Oh Billy..." (Y/N) said with sympathy in her voice, feeling so bad for Billy, he'd basically been scapegoated for this atrocity.

"So... did you execute those innocent people?" Rebecca asked, (Y/N) smacked Rebecca on the arm giving her a disapproving look for asking that so soon after what Billy just told them.

"Forget about it, it doesn't matter anymore, that was then, this is now" Billy said, as he tried to push his feelings down, closing himself off behind a mask of not caring.

"Besides, you said you wouldn't judge me" Billy said as he walked a few steps away from Rebecca and (Y/N), trying to end the conversation.

"She's not judging you Billy, but, it does matter" (Y/N) said, her voice still showing sympathy for the young man.

"She's right, look, our team thinks you killed those MP's in the Van, but I don't think you did" Rebecca said as she looked at Billy.

"Same here, here's what I think happened... they were driving you somewhere, possibly here... then those Zombie Dogs attacked the Van and killed those men, you were able to escape to that Train" (Y/N) said, as she was theorising on what may have happened but stopped when Billy took a step away, his back now facing both girls.

"You two don't get it, I've only got two choices left, either report to the Marines and serve out my sentence or keep on running for as long as I can, that's all" Billy said, sounding like he was resigned to this fate, it was rather sad... that he was blamed for something he didn't do or want any part of.

Rebecca looked down sadly, feeling guilty about her earlier attitude towards him, before she nodded to him, then (Y/N) approached him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Billy... for what it's worth, I think your a good person, maybe after all this is over, things might work out? You never know, right?" (Y/N) said, giving him a hopeful smile, before she walked to the door to leave the room, and then continue the search around the Facility for a way out.

The three went back onto the hallway they rushed through only to be attacked by three Eliminators! But (Y/N) and Billy easily killed the Infected Apes with their Shotguns, they continued to search around, finding a Locker Key behind a pair of Plague Crawlers who were cannibalising a dead one, before moving on and reaching what looked to be an Armoury, or a Training Room.

"Maybe we can take some of these? They could be useful?" Rebecca said as she went to one of the many guns on the wall, she picked one up but then she frowned, the other guns were all broken!

"Hey, I found something" (Y/N) said as she used the Locker Key they found to unlock the locker, and saw a Metal Case, with a combination lock on it.

"Huh, looks like a combo lock... guess we'll have to look for the combination if we wanna see what's inside" Billy said with a frown, looking like he was getting annoyed with the many puzzles in this place.

"Wait... I think this might be it, right here" (Y/N) said as she pointed to numbers 385 that were drawn on the case, she moved the dials until they reached those numbers and the Case opened!

"Huh... I guess whoever owned this was very bad at remembering passwords..." Billy said, as (Y/N) smiled and opened the case, inside were custom parts for a Handgun, like a Scope and a mount for the Scope.

"Hey, some custom parts for a Handgun, here Rebecca, you take them" (Y/N) said as she offered Rebecca the parts.

"Thanks, I could use something a little stronger" Rebecca said with a grateful smile as she took the Case and went to attach the Scope to her Handgun.

"Hey, look down there, I think I see something in the room below" Billy said as he pointed to something that was in a small alcove, that was blocked off by bars.

"Looks like it's behind some raised bars, maybe these switches will do something?" Rebecca said as she approached with her new Scope attached to her Handgun.

"I'll go down and take a look, stay up here and work the switches" (Y/N) said as she walked out of the room and down the steps, she arrived in the area and went into areas as Rebecca lowered the gates, she even picked up some more Grenades for her Grenade Launcher.

She carefully made her way to the door, the spend bullet casings clattering as she walked and kept a very close eye out for enemies, she then saw a button on a machine that was close by, the button must be what opened that cage so she could go in and get whatever was inside, (Y/N) pressed the switch.

"Battle sequence initiated, locking door" came an automated voice as (Y/N) heard metal moving.

"Battle Sequence? Oh this can't be good!" (Y/N) said worriedly, as she saw one of the bars for the alcoves open, and suddenly a large humanoid Lizard thing suddenly jumped out of one of the alcoves!

"Holy shit!" (Y/N) said startled as she quickly pulled out the Grenade Launcher, but then a second one came out of the same alcove that had the item was in!

One of the Creatures hissed and jumped at her, (Y/N) quickly jumped back to avoid the attack with those large claws, before she shot a Grenade at the Lizard-man hitting it and causing an explosion that blew it's body apart!

The second Lizard-man hissed and lunged at (Y/N), it's claws swinging at her and scratching her side, (Y/N) grunted in pain before he shot at it with the Grenade Launcher, blasting it's arm and making it shriek in pain as the stump of it's arm gushed blood.

"Ah shit! It got me" (Y/N) winced as she saw the large cuts in her side, the cuts were bleeding quite badly and her shirt was torn from the attack, she quickly refocused on the Lizard-man and shot it with the Grenade Launcher again, this time killing it, (Y/N) sighed in relief before grunting in pain from the large cuts on her side.

"Battle sequence complete, opening door" the Automated Voice said before the metal bars were raised up automatically, and Rebecca rushed into the Training Room.

"(Y/N)!" Rebecca exclaimed as she hurried over to (Y/N), stopping and checking her injury carefully, as Billy jogged over too, looking concerned for the Female S.T.A.R.S. Member.

"Gah... that was unlucky, those things were fast!" (Y/N) said with a wince as Rebecca unpacked her Medical Supplies and started to clean the blood away from the wound.

"Hold on, I've got a First Aid Spray" Rebecca said as she finished cleaning the blood and then sprayed the wound, making (Y/N) hiss in pain from the aerosol hitting the raw wound, but trying to stay composed and let the healing agent do it's work.

"Hey, Billy... you mind checking that alcove? I think the thing in there might be useful" (Y/N) said as she pointed to the now open alcove, or cell, Billy nodded and walked to the cell to check for anything, he managed to find a Key with a Water design on it.

"Looks like that Fire Key, maybe there's other doors we can use this on?" Billy suggested as he put it away in his pocket, and looked at the rapidly healing injury on her side.

"That looks pretty nasty..." Billy said as (Y/N) was sat down with her back against the wall.

"Looks worse than it feels" (Y/N) said with a chuckle as she waited for the First Aid Spray to do it's job, they sat there for a minute or two as Rebecca gently wiped the blood away, and saw the cuts were almost fully healed.

"There... try not to move too much, the Spray should finish healing that wound quickly, but it might still be tender" Rebecca said in a caring tone as she helped her fellow S.T.A.R.S. Teammate to her feet.

"Thanks Rebecca, those things are lethal, we should be careful in case there are any more around" (Y/N) said seriously as she looked at both Billy and Rebecca, (Y/N) gave Rebecca her Shotgun and the Shotgun Ammo, so she would have something more powerful to protect herself with.

The three of them then went back up and searched around more, solving another puzzle where they had to list the braziers under several animal statues in a specific order, which then unlocked the Bunk Rooms, who the hell would willingly stay in a room behind a door with a lock like that?

they searched around the two Bunk Rooms, finding the Unity Tablet in Bunk Room A, and then after killing two Zombies in Bunk Room B, before (Y/N) found and read another note that seemed to have been written by one of the two people that became the Zombies in this room.

What is that Director Marcus is researching all the time?

And what's with his weird interest in leeches?

Interest? ... Seems more like love at times...

Rumor has it that there's something dangerous about those leeches.

It is true that when Dennis just touched one he got ill with a fever.

(Y/N)'S POV

"That's so sad, the terror these men must have felt as they turned..." I said as I finished reading the note, I could only imagine what these people must have thought and felt as they were being changed into these walking corpses, it made me shiver as I imagined if I were infected and had to suffer as I slowly turned.

(Just imagine if this got somewhere heavily populated...) I thought to myself, feeling scared at the idea of a Virus like this or Progenitor getting loose in a City.

"Hey, you alright?" I heard someone ask, I turned and saw Billy was looking at me concerned, I took a deep breath to calm myself down.

"Yeah... just got lost in thought, come on, let's go find that door" I said as I set the Note down and went to the door, feeling determined to escape this place and not end up becoming a Zombie.

We made our way back up to the main floor of the Facility and went back up to the second floor, to where the dead Centipede was left, I could hear more of those large Bugs up above, and since I saw them cannibalising one of their own earlier, I had a very good guess to what may be going on up there.

Instead of going up Rebecca, Billy and I went into the Art Room and saw that blue door again, Billy went over, unlocked the door and went through only for us to hear a startled yelp, Rebecca and I rushed in through the door, only to see that Leech-Man was here!

"Oh damn it! I got this!" I said in annoyance as I aimed my Grenade Launcher at the humanoid mass of Leeches and fired, it took two shots but the Leech-Man then burst apart with the surviving Leeches quickly slithering away.

"Damn... looks like those things are here too, guess we'll have to be careful" I heard Billy say, I nodded in agreement, and we continued with our search.
