WITH (Y/N) AND LISA

(Y/N) kept her pace with Lisa as she slowly walked along the edge of the Mansion's Grounds, taking the poor girl back to her little Cabin where she would be safe until she could be helped, she would make sure this poor girl got some kind of help after what Umbrella had done to her for all these years.

Lisa let out a wheeze as she looked up to the (H/C) haired girl as they walked, still clutching her Mother's skull in her hands as if it were the most precious thing in the world to her, which it was, considering it was the only piece of her Mother she could have now that she was gone...

They soon managed to find a place and got back inside of the Mansion together, which was very quiet now... however they just kept going, with (Y/N) keeping her Magnus at the ready just in case any Zombies lunge out at her.

"I can't believe those two, wanting to attack you just because of how you look, I'm sorry about Chris and Jill, Lisa, I guess... they are just stressed out after everything that happened tonight, I can understand it though" (Y/N) said to Lisa as the two of them made their way through the Corridors of the Mansion's Ground Floor, Lisa wheezed in response as she turned her gaze back down to the skull of her Mother.

"I mean... losing so many of our friends is hard, Edward, Joseph, Forest and Kenneth too, I just hope we don't lose anymore of the team, and I still have to find Richard" (Y/N) said as they kept going, when they heard the sound of something running ahead of them, coming toward them.

"Stay back Lisa, I got this" (Y/N) said seriously as she stood in a solid stance holding the Silver Serpent that Wesker had left for her forward, if it was another of those bloody Zombies with claws she's blow it's head clean off with this shot...

She watched closely, until suddenly she saw Rebecca round the corner and almost fall over as she stopped herself.

"Rebecca, what's wrong? What are you running from?" (Y/N) asked her in concern as she quickly lowered her gun, but then Rebecca gasped and her eyes went wide as she saw Lisa stood behind her fellow member of S.T.A.R.S.

"Okay, hold on Rebecca, it's okay... she's not gonna hurt you, but, she needs our help" (Y/N) said to the Medic of S.T.A.R.S., giving her a look of determination and protectiveness over the poor Trevor girl.

"Sh-She? (Y/N), who is this?" Rebecca asked her in a trembling voice as she looked back and forth between her teammate and the heavily mutated girl clutching her dead Mother's skull.

"This is Lisa Trevor, she was abducted by Umbrella over thirty years ago and experimented on, along with her Mother" (Y/N) explained as she lowered herself down to Lisa's level, placing a hand on Lisa's shoulder as said girl groaned and glanced up at Rebecca through the Human face masks that were covering her head and face.

"Oh my God..." Rebecca gasped as she looked at Lisa with sadness and pity, seeing the poor girl's hunched figure and the bloody stocks around her wrists and chained shackles on her ankles, and the filthy dress she was wearing and the blood.

"Yeah, I want to help her, Rebecca... I want to get her out of here, and see if we could do something to help her" (Y/N) said as she looked up at Rebecca with a serious look on her face, the younger Brunette girl looked at her in shock.

"A-Are you sure? (Y/N) I-I don't think there's much we could do! I mean... she's been heavily mutated by whatever Virus they used on her, no one will leave her alone to live in peace anywhere, especially in a Town or City, and... what if she can infect people with this Virus she has inside of her? But It's not just that! But... is she alright, mentally? I mean, she's wearing Human faces as a mask and holding a Human Skull, all of those experiments must have severely traumatised her and caused psychological damage, there's also Umbrella, I don't think they will just let her go, she's walking evidence if their misdeeds" Rebecca explained to her calmly, wanting her friend to understand just how dangerous this situation would be, and that it may be a lot of work and time before even a little bit of progress could be made to help the poor girl to return to even a little bit of sanity and stability.

(Y/N) frowned as she looked back to Lisa, thinking about all the trauma and pain she had to live through, she knew that there was no way Lisa could be near another person alone... and she'd not be surprised of Lisa didn't trust Doctors if any kind after what had been done to her, there was also the fact that it seemed like she would only be calm around (Y/N) alone for some reason, there was also the fact that Umbrella would likely try to silence her to prevent news of their wrongs from getting out to the public.

It would be a long road, with many bumps along the way and there was no guarantee that Lisa would respond well to treatment of any kind... but, (Y/N) wanted to help her, she wanted to at least try and help this poor girl find a better life that having to hide herself away in fear of Umbrella and it's cruel experiments.

"Yes, Rebecca, I want to help her... no, I WILL help her, I'll keep her safe from Umbrella and help her find somewhere peaceful to live, away from people" (Y/N) said to the younger girl with determination in her eyes, but... Rebecca also saw the hint of maternal protectiveness in the teenage S.T.A.R.S. Member's eyes and body language, she could see that the (H/C) haired girl was determined to do this, no matter what she had to do.

"Okay... I understand, I-I'll try to help you the best I can, but... I don't really know what I could even do to help" Rebecca said to her hesitantly as she looked to Lisa, who growled at the younger girl and clutched her Mother's Skull close to her chest protectively.

"Hey, it's okay Lisa... this is Rebecca, she's my friend and she's very nice, she's going to help us" (Y/N) said as she got in front of the Mutated Woman's face and tried to reassure her, Lisa's eye looked to the young woman and she let out a gentle wheeze as she calmed down.

Rebecca watched them before she looked out of the window to the Inner Garden area of the Mansion, where she saw Chris and Jill opening a passageway in the Fountain area.

"Look! It's Chris and Jill, where are they going?" Rebecca asked as she went to the window and looked out at the two as they went down the newly revealed stairs, while Rebecca looked out of the window she missed the frown on (Y/N)'s face.

"No idea, but listen, you should hurry and go help them out, I'm going to help Lisa get back to her Cabin and I'll come join you all afterward, okay?" (Y/N) said to the eighteen year old woman, while she was still mad at Jill for how she acted toward Lisa, and seemed so dismissive about helping her, she knew they had to work together to get the hell out of this place and expose Umbrella's evil.

"Oh, well, um... o-okay, I'll do my best" Rebecca said to her fellow teenage Member of S.T.A.R.S. as she walked away with Lisa shuffling after her, the chains rattling along the wooden floor as she followed after the Magnum wielder, Rebecca then turned and started to run to catch up to Chris and Jill.

EARLIER, WITH CHRIS AND JILL

Chris and Jill were stood there trying to make sense of what they had just seen, Jill was in disbelief that (Y/N), her friend, had seemingly betrayed them and that she was somehow getting that creature... Lisa, to listen to her and not be hostile toward her, and Chris was angry at the thought that she had betrayed them and sent their friends to their deaths like this.

However, it made sense to Chris... he knew that (Y/N)'s parents worked for Umbrella, and the fact that Umbrella owned this place further cemented in his mind her guilt, perhaps Lisa was a friend or has some association with their family, either way, they needed answers.

"Maybe we should go after her and get answers? She can't be the double-crosser" Jill said as she went to go after (Y/N) and her friend, planning to stop them and try to talk with her again, and hopefully this time not make (Y/N) upset again.

"Hold on, Jill, what's this?" Chris asked her as he seemed to notice something on one of the two Statues that were on the large Fountain that sat in the middle of the area, this Statue was that of Wolves and in the middle was a circular indentation and inside of this indentation, the image of a Wolf was carved.

"Huh, I wonder what's supposed to go there? Wait a second..." Jill said as she then searched through her inventory and found that Silver Wolf Medal that (Y/N) had given to her shortly after she saved her from that Spider, she looked at the Wolf engraving on the Medal before she looked to the indentation, she then placed it in the slot and saw that it was a perfect fit!

"Looks like this is another thing we need to open up... (Y/N) gave me that Medal earlier" Jill said as she looked up to Chris with a frown, she still didn't fully believe that (Y/N) had something to do with this horrible night and the deaths of their friends.

"Hold on... look, I found this while I was searching for her in the Mansion" Chris said as he also showed Jill a similar Medal, only it was plated with Gold and this one had the image of a Bird engraved into it.

"Chris, I don't think (Y/N) is a Traitor, I think she's being set up... earlier on, I saved her from a Giant Spider in the underground area of the Mansion, she'd been wrapped up in silk and I had to help cut her out, after that she helped me when I had been poisoned by the Spider's venom" Jill said as she followed Chris as he searched around the Fountain, to see if there was another slot for this second Medal.

"Okay, but... think about it, Jill, her parents work for Umbrella, and this is an Umbrella facility, and there was something else I had noticed, sometimes she'd look at any of those Scaly creatures that had been killed and looked, upset about it?" Chris said to Jill as he turned to look at her with a serious look, in his mind quite a few things were starting to add up to him and made it that (Y/N) was indeed the traitor.

"Chris, just because her parents work for Umbrella doesn't mean she had anything to do with all this, I mean... wouldn't she have just gone to work for them if she were on their side? And she seemed just as shocked about everything she saw as we were looking around and..." Jill replied to him as she though back over everything that had happened tonight, and all her interactions with (Y/N), she also remembered a critical piece of info.

"Chris, she's been bitten!" Jill suddenly exclaimed as she remembered what had happened back when she saved her from that Zombie.

"Wait, what? Bitten?!" Chris said in surprise.

"Yes, back when we I first got into the Mansion with Barry and Wesker, I heard gunshots and went to investigate and found one of those things attacking (Y/N), it had... killed Kenneth, I think (Y/N) tried to save him and got bitten when she saw that she was too late, I managed to get her out of there but not long after she seemed to have some kind of fit and passed out" Jill said to him as she thought back to that encounter and what had happened to the younger woman.

"Wait... that might be the reason, she may be infected, and she's doing all this for the cure!" Chris said as if he had realised a critical piece of information, which could point out why she would be the Traitor.

"No, that doesn't make sense, Chris, according to her this all started before she got bitten, when she and Rebecca ended up in that Umbrella Training Facility before making their way here" Jill pointed out to him with a frown, Chris looked to her and then to a second statue close by that looked similar to the one they used the Wolf Medal on.

Chris approached it and inserted the Eagle Medal into the slot as well, as soon as the Medal was inserted into the Statue Jill and Chris both heard the sound of rushing water, they then saw the water rapidly draining from the Fountain as it opened up, revealing a hidden stairway that went underground, then a small section of the Fountain wall slid down to allow them access.

"Okay well, maybe we'll find more concrete answers in wherever this leads to, you coming?" Chris said to her as he held up his Shotgun, Jill looked at Chris and then the newly revealed entrance to another secret area of the Mansion, before she nodded to him, holding her Handgun ready, and with that, the two members of S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team went down the steps, and took the elevator down...

The ride down was fairly short, and they soon stopped at a set of heavy metal doors, which the two slowly opened, revealing a concrete hallway and after walking further in found a Ladder going further down, Chris climbed down the ladder first followed by Jill they made their way to what seemed like a stairway, but also found three Zombies slowly shambling toward them, each of them wearing bloody and torn lab coats.

Chris and Jill quickly took the Zombified men down with well placed head-shots before they started to look around the area, after a bit of searching, Chris found something in a nearby metal table, it looked to be an MO Disk, the kind that held data.

"Chris, over here" Jill said to him as she started heading down a set of steps to a lower level of this underground facility, Chris joined her and went down the steps and through a pair of barred metal doors, as soon as they went through they saw another pair of Zombies wandering around the O-Shaped Room, the two quickly took the Zombies down together.

"Alright, we need to keep our eyes open... if there's Zombies down here then there might be more of those scaly Monsters down here too, or something worse" Chris said seriously as he reloaded his Shotgun and pumped it, Jill agreed and the two went through a door to their right and went into a Corridor which was thankfully empty.

They then went into another room and found themselves in a room with multiple X-Ray pictures, showing lit up images of Human organs, Jill then saw a Letter on the nearby desk and picked it up to read it.

June 8th, 1998

My dearest Ada,

By the time you read this letter, I will no longer be the person you once knew. The results of my test came out today, and as I suspected, it came out positive.

I feel like I am teetering on the edge of reason just thinking about my impending doom. I would give anything not to have to become one of them.

As far as I know, you are not infected. I sincerely hope things do not reach such a desperate pass, but if it has turned out that you are now the last person remaining alive, I want you to get the material from the Visual Data Room.

Then, activate the Self-Destruct System in the Power Room, and escape from here. Please do everything in your power to make this whole accident public.

If everything is still running normally, you should be able to release all the locks using the Security System.

I have set up the terminal in the small security room so that you can log in to the system using my name and your name as the password.

You will need another password to release the lock of the door in Basement Level Two where the Visual Data Room is located.

As a safety measure I have coded that password into an X-ray picture; a roentgenogram. I know you, and I'm sure you will be able to work it out without any trouble.

There is just one more thing... and it is my last request. I hope you never have to lay eyes on me in this state, but if you do happen to run into me in my hideous form, I beg you to put me out of my misery. I hope you understand.

"Chris, it looks like there's some important data here" Jill said as she handed Chris the letter so he could read it over too, Chris took it and read it over before he nodded to Jill.

"Okay, John and Ada are the code... there's somethin g else on these X-Ray pictures, let's try to find it" Chris said as he went to pick up one of the two pictures, but then saw a memo stuck up above the image with the name Gail Holland.

To use the electronic door, place the initials in alphabetical order.

Jill went over to the lights and hung up the image with the name Clark David on it, Chris then put up his picture and Jill changed the light, which caused each picture to have a specific organ glowing in the light, on Alex Brechet's one the Colon was highlighted, on Clark David's it was the Esophagus, Ed Fisher's was the Liver and finally Gail Holland's image had the Lungs glowing.

"Hmm, the first initials... that spells Cell, that must be the other password, let's go and see what's there" Chris said as he put the letter down and the two then left the X-Ray room, after some checking they soon found the console in what appeared to be an Operating Room, Chris immediately went to the terminal to input the names, while Jill looked around the room for anything useful.

She then found a open book on the desk, picking it up and reading what was written inside.

There is now evidence that when the host loses consciousness, the body goes into a dormant state. During this time the virus becomes active and rapidly transforms and reconstructs the basic composition of the body.

The host eventually mutated into a humanoid creature. (We call them V-ACTs)

Its speed and amazing muscular development are particularly noteworthy. After transformation, it becomes more agile and aggressive.

Already four of our researchers have died from trying to feed it, turning the place into an instant blood bath. (Ever since this tragic and barbaric accident, we have decided to call its kind "Crimson Heads")

That dangerous and precious prototype specimen can't be left there. We have to figure out a way to deal with it. Termination is definitely not an option.

We finally decided to freeze the specimen and confine the body inside the basement of the backyard cemetery.

"They must be talking about those creatures the Zombies become if their bodies aren't burned, why would anyone make a Virus like this?" Jill wondered to herself as she put the book back down.

"Alright, I'm in!" Chris said as he managed to log into the computer, he then put in the password C-E-L-L to unlock other rooms in the Laboratory, he managed to unlock one room that was back up the steps he and Jill came down and also a second X-Ray room that was opposite to the one they went into before.

"Okay, both rooms have been unlocked, let's go and see what's inside of these rooms" Jill said as she checked her ammo, before they left though, Chris checked out a back room where he saw several dead bodies hung up in see-through bodybags, they were all frozen as well.

Chris managed to find a Flash Grenade in the small room, before he left and the two went to check out the now unlocked rooms, Chris and Jill stopped at the doors that went back up to the area where they killed the three Zombies in Lab Coats, and to the X-Ray Rooms.

Jill and Chris both made their way to the Second X-Ray Room and went inside, only to find a Naked Zombie inside of the room, which Jill quickly killed before she started to look around the room, Jill saw some Magnum Rounds on the ground and picked them up, if (Y/N) in fact wasn't the Traitor then these might be helpful to her, while she was thinking about her friend Chris was also searching around and picked something up off a nearby table.

Jill then went around the corner and she found an Office area, likely where the one of those Scientists worked and went over the results of those X-Rays, she also found what looked like a Fax in a nearby cabinet, which was partially curled up, she then straightened it out and read over the message.

The contents of this fax are confidential and intended for the named addressee only. Any copying, or disclosure of the contents of this fax to any third party is strictly forbidden by the sender.

After reading the contents of this fax, it must be destroyed immediately.

We expect significant increase in the damage done by the recent T-Virus' outbreak than initially estimated. There are several concerns.

First concern

More than half of the researchers have been infected by the T-Virus and died. It has also been reported that almost all of the survivors of this accident are starting to show symptoms of the T-Virus infection.

Second concern

Our Secret Security Patrol Team has also been completely eradicated. Therefore, our most secret research is in danger of public disclosure. Quick actions are demanded to prevent mass media coverage.

Third concern

There is a high possibility that most of the specimens are running loose inside the compound. We expect many casualties to follow.

However yet unfortunate, these casualties underscore the success of our research results. Actions must be taken to prevent our research results from being made public.

We suspect the first official intervention will come from the State Police and S.T.A.R.S. We strongly recommend taking measures against them first.

Jill narrowed her eyes at the printed words, so, people in Raccoon City also knew about this place, she also thought about it more, the Scientists who weren't infected started to show signs of infection by the T-Virus... would she and the others also start showing signs? Were they already infected with the Virus and it'd take time to make them become Zombies like all of the people here in this Mansion?

"Find anything?" Chris asked her, startling Jill out of her inn er thoughts, she then showed him the Fax, Chris quickly read it over before he noticed something else on the Desk, it looked like a box which had a small screen that said "Insert Disk" on it.

"A security passcode transmission device, insert disk" Chris said to himself before he remembered that MO Disk he'd found earlier, he inserted the disk into the device and it made a series of rapid beeps before it stopped.

"Looks like it's transmitted the passcode, it must have unlocked something, come on, let's go check around that other room we unlocked" Chris said to Jill, who nodded to him in agreement before the two set off to continue their investigation of this Laboratory.
