(Y/N) soon left the Cabin that Lisa called home and made her way back to the Mansion, she had managed to talk Lisa down and asked her to stay in her Cabin so she could come back later to help her, Lisa had also been nice enough to give her a Crank, the (H/C) haired girl was furious that Umbrella could turn an innocent girl into that!

(I don't care if mom and dad work for Umbrella, they won't get away with this!) (Y/N) thought to herself angrily, she then saw a Zombie ahead of her, the mutated person groaned and turned to her, but she quickly pulled her Shotgun and blasted the Zombie's head off, not in any mood to hang around now.

"This is Brad, if you can hear me, just give me a sign! Anything" said a voice over the Radio on (Y/N)'s belt, she quickly recognised that voice, it was Brad from Alpha Team, the Pilot!

"Brad? Hey, Brad, are you there? Hello!" (Y/N) answered, trying her best to get a reply from the pilot, but all she got in reply was static.

"God damn it..." she grumbled as she put the Radio back onto her belt and continued onward, into the Mansion's Main garden area, she found three dead Cerberus laying on the floor, though... she was wary of them, if those Human Zombies could get back up again then what's to say that these things couldn't do that as well?

(Y/N), over here" someone called out to her, she looked over and saw that Chris had just walked in through an iron gate which let out a squeak as it was opened.

"Chris, did you find anything?" (Y/N) asked him seriously as she approached him, wanting to hurry and find something that'll put Umbrella in the ground.

"There's a way ahead, but it needs a Crank to work, I'm just about to go look for it" Chris said to her as he went to walk past her to search the Mansion for the Crank.

"Wait, I think I may have it, is this what we need?" (Y/N) said to him, before she took the Crank out of her backpack, Chris took it and looked at it, looking hopeful.

"Let's go see" Chris said before they went back through the gate together and reached a Water Pool, with a mechanism that had a small square-shaped slot in it, (Y/N) handed Chris the Crank and he slotted it into the mechanism and started to slowly turn the Crank.

After three turns of the Crank the Pool's sluice gate opened up and the water started to empty out, revealing a stone walkway that was submerged, and was now free to walk on, as the water levelled out, both members of S.T.A.R.S. could hear the sound of a waterfall in the distance, before they climbed down and crossed the now mostly empty pool to reach the other side.

The two climbed up the ladder to the other side and made their way to a small lift, which Chris went down first while (Y/N) waited, when Chris reached the next floor he arrived in an area of the gardens that had a big waterfall in it, he sent the lift back up and saw a group of Crows watching him.

(Y/N) quickly came down the lift and exited as well, when suddenly the Crows flew at them to attack them! Rather than wasting the bullets trying to hit the infected Birds, the two decided to just run through the Falls Area and another metal gate, which stopped the Crows from chasing after them.

"I'm starting to really hate Birds..." (Y/N) said before they kept walking down the Zigzag Path with Chris, however, as she walked along something suddenly dropped onto (Y/N), making her jump and look up to see what had fallen on her, but then... she saw what had fallen onto her looking her in the eye... it was an Adder!

"Ah! Holy shit!" (Y/N) screamed as she started freaking out to shake the venomous Snake off, too startled to remember that frantically moving might make the Snake panic and bite her.

Chris whirled around and pointed his gun back toward her, thinking that a Zombie had come out and grabbed her, but instead Chris saw her shaking herself and trying to remove the scaly menace that dropped onto her head, until she soon managed to dislodge the Snake and make it drop to the ground, before it quickly slithered away.

"Are you alright, (Y/N)? You didn't get bitten, did you?" Chris asked her as he walked over to her, sounding concerned for the girl.

"N-No... damn that scared the hell out of me, let's get out of here before something else falls on me" (Y/N) said as she was panting for breath, Chris nodded and they kept going further along the Zigzag Path, only to run the rest of the way when four more Adders dropped down around them, they quickly reached the door at the end of the path and hurried inside.

The two were breathing a little quickly as they stood in the Entry Corridor of the Guardhouse Residence of the Mansion, after they had both caught their breath (Y/N) saw three plant pots with Blue Herbs growing in them, (Y/N) remembered that Rebecca told her that they were used to cure poisoning, so she picked them up, just in case they ran into any more venomous Creatures.

She and Chris searched around more, with Chris finding another Flash Grenade, while (Y/N) refilled her Canteen with Kerosene to burn any more bodies that they may come across, or any Zombies she and Chris killed, they then made their way through a set of smashed doors and into a Rec Room.

However, as they went into the room, they both heard a sound behind them, they looked back only to see a HUGE Spider crawling down toward them!

"I fucking hate Spiders!" (Y/N) exclaimed as she blasted the Spider with her Shotgun and Chris shot at it with his Handgun, quickly killing the mutated Arachnid before they started to search around the room.

They soon went down to a bar area in the Rec Room, and found a First Aid Box, (Y/N) also found more Shotgun Ammo along with a Red Book, which had bandage with blood printed on the cover.

"Hmm... this must be useful for something, I better keep hold of it for now" (Y/N) said as she put the book onto her backpack, while Chris searched around the room more, (Y/N) also saw the many posters of pretty women in various poses and in revealing clothes, making her shake her head at how men always seemed to have pictures like this around.

After a quick search they both left the Rec Room and pushed a big wooden box over a hole in the floor of the corridor, then had to climb over a pile of boxes to reach a door on the other side, the two then passed through the door into the Central Corridor of the building, Chris holding his Samurai Edge Handgun and (Y/N) her Shotgun.

The two of them soon reached a door with the numbers 002 over the door, they went inside and looked around the room, when (Y/N) noticed another door inside of the room, probably to another bathroom.

"Chris, I'm going to take a look in here" (Y/N) said to him, Chrisnodded to her as she opened the door and went inside, it was indeed a bathroom which was half flooded, her boots making small splashed as she walked around the room, before she noticed a Key with the numbers 001 that was on the cabinet next to the bath.

"Alright, this Key must be for a room in this-" (Y/N) said when she suddenly heard a growl from the room where Chris was, she hurried to the door and threw it open, just in time to see Chris stab a knife into the head of a Zombie, making it stagger back away from him.

"Chris, get down!" (Y/N) said as she aimed her Shotgun at the Zombie, Chris quickly ducked down, and then the (H/C) haired girl pulled the trigger, sending buckshot into the Zombie's upper body and blowing the Mutated Human onto it's back.

"You alright?" she asked Chris as she walked over to the taller man.

"Yeah, good shot, that thing lunged at me when I picked this up" Chris said, as he showed the girl several documents, she took them and carefully read them over, wondering if it would shed some light on Lisa, or other victims of Umbrella.

PLANT 42 REPORT

Four days have passed since the accident. The plant at Point 42 is growing at an amazing rate.

Although there are many unknown aspects about this plant, we know that in comparison with the other group of plants, the T-Virus has had a substantially stronger affect on this one.

The T-Virus has drastically morphed its host's anatomy as well as its size. Looking at its current state, it's difficult to imagine its original appearance. Nowhere on Earth will you find anything like it.

We've also found that PLANT 42 has two main sources of acquiring its necessary nutrients. One source is through its root. Somehow it has rooted itself down into the basement.

Immediately after the accident, a scientist went mad and destroyed the Aqua Ring. Ever since, the basement has been like a pool. There is a high possibility that it's one of the chemicals in the water that's promoting the PLANT 42's rapid growth.

However, we have yet to determine the specific chemical.

A bulb-like body of the PLANT 42 has been sighted hanging from the ceiling of the first floor. We are sure that it used the air ducts to reach the first floor. Numerous long tentacle-like vines are protruding from the bulb.

We believe the vines are the second means of acquiring its nutrients. When the PLANT 42 senses prey, it uses the tentacle-like vines to capture its prey. After doing so, suckers on the vine drain the prey of its blood.

We've also noticed that it has some intelligence. When it captures its prey or when it's inactive, the vines twine around the door to stop possible intruders.

Unfortunately, several of our scientists have already fallen victim to this PLANT 42. When we heard the stories from the survivors, they all observed one thing in common:

When the uniform petal-like flaps open and reveal its vital internals, it has a tendency to become more aggressive.

One witness reported that it was as if it was trying to protect itself. Why it behaves the way it does is still unknown.

May 21, 1998

Henry Sarton

(Great... as if Zombies and Monsters aren't enough, now we've got a giant killer Plant?) (Y/N) thought to herself in annoyance, before she out the documents away in her bag.

"Alright, I found this key in the bathroom, let's look around for a door with the same number as this Key" (Y/N) said as she showed Chris the Key, and also showed him the document about Plant 42 the two of them started to retrace their steps in the Guardhouse, until they found room 001 close to where they came into the Building.

Chris used the Key to unlock the door and went inside only to stop at the sight in front of him, a dead body hanging from a rafter by a rope around their neck...

(Y/N) came in after him and saw the body too, she closed her eyes and looked away, feeling bad from what she assumed must have been a horrible situation, the bite mark on the man's arm gave her a good idea why he may have killed himself.

"Horrible..." she said as she composed herself and followed Chris into the room, she then found a small Self Defence Gun and noticed that it had already fired one bullet, she then saw a note, she had a feeling she knew what it would be when she read it.

June 22, 1998

I had to do it. We ran from those things - helping each other to survive. But Robert started to show the symptoms. I had to do it. Those damn things are pure evil.

There was no other way. He would have done the same if it were the other way around. After I put him out of his misery I had to just put him in the bathroom. Now I'm probably the last one...

How could this happen? I'll never forgive myself for being part of this project. Eventually I'll get what's coming to me, though. There's no way to escape from this nut house, it's just a matter of time now.

Everything is set. All I need is a little courage to get it done. Knowing that I'll leave many things undone is regret beyond words.

But, this is better than just waiting to turn into one of them. Please understand and at least let me end my life as a person.

(Y/N) frowned sadly as she finished reading the Suicide Note, her mind imagining what that man must have felt, making him decide that ending himself would be better than living.

"Suicide note?" Chris asked her softly, seeing that she was upset from what she had seen.

"Yeah, God, it must have been awful, having to choose between ending himself or waiting to turn into one of those... things" (Y/N) said to him, as she flipped the note over, and read the single line on the back of the page.

Linda, please forgive me...

(Y/N) closed her eyes and looked down, putting the note back on the desk for now and letting out a sigh, as she looked over at the hanging body, before she looked down to the small pistol in her hand.

"Why didn't he use this? It would have been much faster, probably the way I would want to go" (Y/N) said as she looked down at the Self Defence Pistol, looking to the place where she had been bitten what felt like ages ago.

"He probably wasn't in his right mind... come on, why don't you wait outside while I check this room out?" Chris said to her as he put his hand on her shoulder, (Y/N) looked at him before she nodded and left the room.

She stood outside of the room while Chris searched around inside, keeping herself alert for Zombies as she waited for Chris to finish his search when her Radio beeped, (Y/N) sighed and took the radio off of her belt to see what was happening.

"This is (Y/N), Brad, is this you?" (Y/N) said into her radio, hopeful that it would be Brad calling in to tell them that he would be coming to get them all out of this hellhole.

"(Y/N), it's Rebecca, we have a problem!" Rebecca's voice came over the Radio, (Y/N) felt herself deflate a little before she answered Rebecca, trying to hide the disappointment from her voice.

"Are you okay? Are you under attack?" the (H/C) haired girl asked her worriedly, thinking the Zombies or worse, those crimson skinned monsters had found Rebecca and Richard.

"No, I'm fine but... Richard's gone!" Rebecca said sounding very worried and upset, (Y/N)'s eyes widened in shock at what she just heard.

"What?! What do you mean he's gone?" (Y/N) exclaimed as she heard gunshots from the room behind her, but she was more concerned about Richard since he was hurt, and should not be running off alone!

"I don't know what happened, I went to find some Herbs in case anyone got hurt, but when I came back he was gone!" Rebecca said to her, sounding very upset that Richard had slipped away while under her care.

"Alright, I'll keep an eye out for him, stay safe and thanks for letting me know" (Y/N) said to her calmly, not wanting to upset her any further and get to searching around for Richard, before he gets himself killed, the door to Room 001 opened and Chris walked out.

"Chris, I just got a call from Rebecca, Richard's gone off somewhere on his own!" (Y/N) told him urgently as she put her radio back on her belt.

"What? Damn it, alright, we need to find him, let's check around and see if we can find him" Chris said to her as he checked on his Handgun Ammo, (Y/N) nodded and went ahead to continue the search to find that idiot.

(Y/N) searched around quickly calling out Richard's name at times as well, before she returned to room 002 and searched around the room when she knocked into one of the two book cases, she saw it rock slightly and noticed something behind it, she then pushed the book cases aside to reveal a ladder?

"What the hell?" she said in confusion as she looked at the ladder that was going down, she then heard footsteps and looked back to see Chris come into the room.

"Find anything?" Chris asked her.

"I haven't seen any signs of Richard yet, but... take a look at this" the (H/C) haired girl said as she motioned to the ladder, wondering to herself what the hell could be down there, though... knowing Umbrella, it might be another secret laboratory.

"What's this?" Chris asked her as he walked closer and looked down the ladder passage, into the darkness below.

"Hidden entrance behind two book cases... not as impressive as Dexter's Lab" (Y/N) commented as she also looked at the ladder, Chris chuckled at her joke before he climbed down the ladder, followed by (Y/N).

(Y/N) stepped off the ladder into a concrete hallway, the two members of S.T.A.R.S. followed the path, passing by three large wooden boxes, only to stop when they saw a flooded section ahead of them, but Chris then had the idea to push the large boxes into the water to make a path across for them, Chris managed to push two of them into the water, when they heard a frightened yelp from the room ahead.

"Shit, that sounded like Richard!" Chris said as he looked over at the hallway on the other side of the water, (Y/N) looked at the doorway and the boxes, before she ran toward the gap and jumped across both boxes and stopped on the other side of the water.

"(Y/N), wait!" Chris called out to her, but she ignored him and kept running, refusing to let another member of Bravo Team die if she could help it!

(Y/N) ran down to the doors and pulled them open, but the water that reached her hips slowed the doors down until she got them fully open and rushed in, the water rose up to her waist and she adjusted her backpack so it, and the documents she had inside wouldn't get wet, as she walked in she saw the man in question.

"What the fuck, Richard!" (Y/N) exclaimed as she saw him, feeling relieved to see him alive but also pissed at how he made her so worried by running off like that.

"(Y/N)!" Richard said in surprise, as he was pressing himself back against a metal railing looking terrified for some reason.

"Stay right there, I'm coming to get you" (Y/N) said as she went to walk over to him, ready to give him a piece of her mind for going off while injured like that.

"No stop!" Richard suddenly exclaimed as he looked to his right, (Y/N) looked over as well and her eyes widened at the sight of a large dorsal fin slicing through the water.

"Are you kidding me, A FUCKING SHARK!?!" (Y/N) exclaimed in shock before she ran over to Richard just as Chris walked into the Aqua Ring as well, and saw the massive Great White bite into the walkway that (Y/N) just jumped off of, barely missing biting down on the girl's leg!

"Richard! (Y/N)!" Chris called out in shock as he ran to the railing and looked down, seeing the large Shark dive deeper under the water.

"Chris! You have to do something, before we end up Fish food!" (Y/N) exclaimed, before she gasped as she saw two smaller Sharks swimming up to try and attack the three as well!

"Hang on! I'll see if I can drain the water!" Chris called over before he started to hurriedly wade through the water, leaving (Y/N) and Richard in their spot on the walkway as he ran to the control room.

As he was running the two smaller mutant Sharks went over him, one of them snapping at his leg as he ran, the larger Mother Shark swimming below them all, Chris soon managed to get out of the water and ran to the metal door, using a Key to unlock the door and go inside, while (Y/N) and Richard did their best to avoid the ravenous Sharks.

CHRIS'S POV

I shouldered open the heavy metal doors after I unlocked them and dropped the Key, hurrying in through the doors and climbing down a ladder that was in the room down to the Control Room for this part of the Mansion, and saw the massive Shark swimming in the water through the window.

"Damn... I thought it was just the sea you should be scared of" I muttered to myself as I went to a desk to see how to work the controls to drain the water.

Caution! In case of a drop in oil pressure control, open valve #1

I searched around more and managed to find the button that would drain the water and pressed it, but then suddenly, the massive Shark slammed itself into the window, cracking the glass!

"Emergency, emergency, unknown source of pressure detected, locking all doors to achieve maximum safety" an automated voice said as an alarm blared loudly, I had to close those shutters before the glass broke!

I quickly unlocked the safety and pulled the lever to lower the pressure shelter, the first one only got half-way before it suddenly stopped.

"Oil pressure lost, Shelter operation terminated, restore oil pressure, then release the safety" the automated voice said as the shutter went back up.

"Oh you've got to be kidding me! Alright, I know what to do..." I said to myself, annoyed at how much of this place was malfunctioning, I quickly ran to the small area just outside of the control room to fix the oil pressure.

"Reaching thirty percent of pressure threshold" the automated voice said, and I swore I heard a gunshot, or (Y/N) cursing from above, I quickly opened valve one and closed the shutters just before the large Shark slammed into the glass again, and then, I hit the switch to drain the water.

"That was a close one... this is Chris, (Y/N), Richard, are you there?" I asked into my Radio as I heard the water in the Aqua Ring rapidly draining out, hopefully those Sharks won't be able to get them.

"Yeah, we're here, thanks, just in the nick of time" (Y/N) said over the Radio, I let out a sigh of relief that I had managed to keep them both safe.

"Thank God, is Richard alright, either of you hurt?" I asked her with concern, hoping they didn't get bitten by those Sharks.

"No, had a few close calls, but we're okay, Chris I'm going to take Richard back to the Medical room, and maybe handcuff him to the bed this time" (Y/N) said to me over the Radio, sounding very serious about handcuffing him to the bed this time.

"Alright, be careful" I said to her before I put my Radio back on my belt, and went to check out the lower area of the Aqua Ring.
