In a room in the Guest House of the Spencer Mansion, Rebecca Chambers laid on a bed on her stomach fast asleep, the exhaustion from her experience earlier and the stress of her sudden separation from her partner, (Y/N) had taken it's toll on her, though she slept with her Handgun in her hand.

However... she wasn't having a peaceful sleep, instead she was plagued by a nightmare, in her nightmare the room she was in suddenly faded away and was replaced by seemingly endless loops of thick, scaly coils that were spotted randomly with sores and tumors, Rebecca then heard a low hiss and turned to her right-hand side, only to come face-to-face with a huge Snake!

The Snake flicked it's tongue in Rebecca's face, and the young Woman started to shake and closed her eyes in fear as the large Snake hissed and opened it's cavernous mouth and lunged towards Rebecca as darkness fell over her!

"Rebecca!" a Male voice called out, startling the eighteen year old Girl awake with a gasp, she saw a shadowed figure in the doorway, which she quickly recognised.

"Richard..." Rebecca said in a sleepy voice as she slowly sat up in the bed, feeling very relieved that she managed to find one of her teammates.

"You're okay?" Richard sked her as he walked into the bedroom, also looking very happy to see her alive.

"I'm fine..." Rebecca said as she rubbed the sleep from her eye, before she stood up from the bed in front of her fellow member of Bravo Team.

"That's a relief... where's (Y/N)?" Richard asked her with concern in his voice, he remembered that she was paired up with (Y/N) in the Forest, and was worried that she wasn't here with Rebecca.

"We were chased by some of those Dogs, she told me to run and... Edward's dead" Rebecca said worriedly, before her voice turned sad as she remembered the loss of Edward, but didn't have the heart to tell Richard that (Y/N) had to shoot him.

"I see... it's not much better on my end either, we got attacked by those things and had to split up, the rest of the team is either in hiding or..." Richard said as his voice also became downcast, worried for his friends and fellow members of S.T.A.R.S., Rebecca then had a look of worry and sadness on her face that she still didn't know if the others were okay.

"We just have to find Enrico, he'll know what to do" Richard said as he patted Rebecca's shoulder, to reassure the scared girl.

"What a horrible first assignment, huh?" Richard said sympathetically, Rebecca nodded and looked down as her hand went to the place where Billy's Dog tags were resting on her chest under her bullet proof vest, she hoped that Billy managed to escape the Forest as well, after everything they had been through together.

"First, we have to get to some place safe" Richard said as he checked his ammo, Rebecca nodded and checked her ammo too, steeling herself to investigate the Mansion with Richard.

"(Y/N)... please be alive!" Rebecca said to herself as she and Richard left the room together, thankfully, her Handgun was still upgraded from her time in the Training facility, and she still had her Shotgun too in case they ran into anything especially dangerous.

"She's tough, I'm sure she's alright" Richard said as they walked out of the room and into the hallway, though as soon as they did, they saw a Zombie staggering towards them, followed by one of those Zombie Dogs, the two quickly killed the Zombified creatures and continued onward down the hall, but stopped when they saw a Zombie banging on one of the windows, they slowly approached the window, planning to slip past, but the Zombie smashed the glass and fell through into the hallway, but was quickly killed by the two S.T.A.R.S. Members.

They then made their way further along the hall, only for a Giant Spider to drop down from the ceiling in front of them, Richard and Rebecca quickly shot at the giant Arachnid, quickly killing it, before a swarm of Spiderlings swarmed out of the cracks in the walls and floor!

"These Spiders are everywhere!" Richard exclaimed as they backed away from the swarming infant Spiders, Rebecca looked back and saw a door behind them.

"Let's get to the room in the back!" Rebecca said as she pointed to the door, Richard quickly followed her and they got into the room and slammed the doors shut behind them to, hopefully, keep the Spiderlings out, they then looked and saw that they were in some kind of Rec Room, they looked around but this room was empty too.

"I thought the Captain might be here..." Richard said in disappointment, when suddenly the doors they just came through shook as something hit them with force, Rebecca quickly pulled out her Shotgun, while Richard readied his Handgun, before suddenly the doors were smashed to splinters and they saw something in the doorframe.

It looked like a Zombie, but there was blood seeping out of it making it's body Crimson, it's clothes were torn in places and heavily bloodstained, it's eyes had turned White and glowed slightly, but the most noticeable feature was the long, sharp claws on it's fingers and toes!

"Wh-What the hell is that?!" Richard exclaimed as the new Monster let out a hoarse roar and ran at them, only for Rebecca to raise the Shotgun and shoot it directly in the chest and making it fall to the wooden floor, before it snarled and quickly got back up and lunged at them, Rebecca and Richard both shot at it and soon enough it dropped to the ground dead.

"What the hell was that thing?" Richard said as he and Rebecca looked down at the dead body, before they heard more noises form the hall the new Monster had come from, only to find more Web Spinners and Zombies coming toward them!

"Damn! They just keep coming!" Richard said as they both started shooting at the creatures, but Rebecca could tell this was a hopeless fight, they would be overrun if they tried to fight these things here, she then noticed something, a hole in the wooden floor.

"Richard! There's a hole behind you!" Rebecca said as she grabbed his shoulder and pointed to the hole, she then rushed towards it as the Zombies and Spiders came closer and closer.

"What are you doing?" Richard asked Rebecca as he then noticed another swarm of Spiderlings were also scuttling towards them!

"You know what I'm doing, we're dead if we stay here!" Rebecca said to him as she gave him a look, Richard looked hesitant but they both jumped down the hole together, they both slid down the hole in the earth until they landed in a chamber that was deep underground, it was covered in webbing and they saw two HUGE Spiders that had a Black Carapace and some yellow fur.

Richard and Rebecca quickly started shooting at the two Larger Arachnids, before Richard tossed a Grenade at them and blasted both Spiders, killing them both before suddenly, three of the webbed up corpses stood up and shambled towards the two S.T.A.R.S. Members, who quickly gunned both of the decaying Mutants down.

"There might be another nest up there... I hate Spiders" Rebecca said as she shuddered in disgust as she looked at the partially cocooned corpses that were stuck to the walls, or hung from the ceiling of this underground chamber.

"Alright, let's go down then" Richard said before he and Rebecca walked to a nearby door and pushed the heavy metal doors open, stepping through and closing them behind them before they hurried through the tunnel and climbed a ladder before going through a tunnel and having to walk through a waterfall and out into an outdoor area with a fountain.

They hurried along through the outside areas, having to fight off Crows, Zombies, Zombie Dogs and even Venomous Snakes, and Giant Wasps!

"There are Monsters everywhere..." Rebecca said worriedly as she reloaded her Handgun, and kept her eyes out for any more threats.

"Rebecca... we're going in" Richard said to her as he walked towards a door that was close by.

"The other place was filled with them too" Rebecca argued with him as she walked after him, sounding unsure of the idea of going into the Mansion.

"It's easier to mount a defence in a building, there might be survivors" Richard argued back as he led them inside the Mansion, and out of danger from the infected wild Animals.

"Billy... (Y/N)... I hope your both okay..." Rebecca said as she touched the spot where Billy's Dog Tags were again, thinking of the two who she survived and grew close to.

"Damn! They're here too!" Richard said suddenly, causing Rebecca to look up and see another of those Crimson Horrors charging toward them, they quickly started shooting at the rabid Monster Rebecca using her Shotgun to knock it down and allow Richard to shot it a few times in the head and kill it, they continued through the hallways of the Mansion, having to take down a few more Zombies along the way until they soon reached the Main Hall of the Mansion and saw the front doors, they hurried over but the doors were locked!

"It won't budge!" Rebecca said as she tried opening the door, only for it not to move.

"Well, looks like we'll have to find another way" Richard said in annoyance, as he reloaded his Gun, and kept a watch out for any more Monsters.

"Richard, you know all those bizarre accidents that have been happening lately?" Rebecca asked him as she checked on her inventory, and frowned as she saw that she only had ten Shotgun Shells left.

"Yeah, you don't have to say it, I know they must be related to this too" Richard replied to her as he looked back at the teenage Rookie, he pieced together that whatever was happening here must be related to the murders they were assigned to investigate.

"Those were no ordinary murders, there's something more going on here, we have to get to the bottom of it" Rebecca said, feeling determined to find the truth, gather evidence and solve this mystery and perhaps get justice.

"Our main mission now is survival, having all the information in the world won't do us any good if we're dead" Richard said to Rebecca, he had a point, it would be a waste to learn something vital only to die in this place.

"I know, but..." Rebecca said as she agreed with him about them having to survive, but she didn't like the idea of this place being ignored, and the lives lost being swept under the rug.

"Don't worry, Rebecca, we'll expose all of this, but for right now, we have to focus on our job" Richard said to her reassuringly, after that the two made their way up to the second floor of the Main hall and checked around to see if there were any clues about the rest of their team.

Soon they were walking past a window, but Rebecca stopped when she noticed two very large people leaving the Mansion, one was a large man who wore a long, Black leather coat with Red cuffs and collar, and Grey hair, and the other wore a long White coat and was carrying what seemed to be a body bag over his right shoulder.

"Who's that?" Richard asked as he walked over and joined Rebecca, and saw the two large figures walking away from the Mansion.

"They're going into the Forest" Rebecca said as the two walked into the trees and out of sight, showing no worry about whatever could be lurking within.

"Unbelievable, I wonder what they could be up to?" Richard said to himself as he watched them walk away.

The man that the two members of S.T.A.R.S. saw was Sergei Vladimir, an Executive in Umbrella, and a special bodyguard that had been made for him, called an Ivan, continued to walk into the forest, but stopped when they heard a deep, threatening growl from up ahead, then five Cerberus emerged and looked at the two with hunger in their eyes as they growled at the two.

Sergei however was unbothered by these creatures as his bodyguard stepped forward to protect him from the Mutated Hounds, one of which snarled and ran towards the two before jumping toward the Ivan which backhanded the Dog and caused it to let out a loud, pained yelp, which also caught the attention of Rebecca.

"Let's move" Richard said to Rebecca as he looked back at Rebecca, who was still looking out of the window, and into the dark Forest.

"Yeah" Rebecca replied as she turned away from the window and followed after her teammate, they continued on and made their way through a door and out to an outdoor balcony, as they passed by some windows, suddenly some Crows smashed through the glass and started to attack Rebecca and Richard, they both tried to swat the infected Birds away but the Rebecca tumbled down a set of steps!

"Rebecca!" Richard cried out before he fired his Gun twice, the loud noise seemed to scare the Crows away from Rebecca, who was laying on the ground stunned from the fall, and feeling relieved that the Birds were gone.

"Are you alright?" Richard asked Rebecca, worried that she might have been hurt by those Crows, or the fall down the steps.

"It's probably just us now..." Rebecca said as she tried to calm herself down after that sudden attack, Richard looked down, he'd thought about that as well and also felt a pain in his chest from the idea of his friends and teammates possibly being dead

"Help will come, I'm sure our Captain and (Y/N) are out there somewhere, so don't give up hope" Richard said to the scared and despairing teenager, who looked up to him with a small smile.

"Besides, I'll back you up, and with me around, what could go wrong?" Richard added in with a smirk, Rebecca let out a quiet laugh as she looked down to her hand that Richard was holding, when she noticed a shadow fall over them both, she gasped and quickly pulled Richard away as something huge slammed into the spot where they were just standing moments ago.

"What is that thing!?" Richard exclaimed in shock as he and Rebecca looked back where they had just been, and saw a massive Snake was there!

The Snake lowered the rest of it's body down, onto the balcony before it opened it's cavernous mouth and hissed at the two, it's very large fangs being displayed threateningly the large Serpent had hunger in it's eyes, and saw the two Humans as it's prey!

Rebecca and Richard quickly started shooting at the giant Reptile, which seemed unbothered by their bullets as it observed them and flicked it's forked tongue towards them.

"Come on, let's get out of here!" Richard exclaimed as he grabbed Rebecca's arm and pulled her with him to run away from the Snake, which started to chase after them, Rebecca and Richard ran until they reached a door but the Snake opened it's mouth wide and let out a hiss as it's fangs were on display, Rebecca quickly fired at it's face with her Shotgun, stunning the monstrous Reptile long enough for them both to get through a door and back into the Mansion.

However, the Snake followed after them and Rebecca saw the bullet wounds healing as she and Richard ran and jumped over a wooden rail that was in their way, they kept running and turned back to see the giant Viper was still after them!

"It's still coming!" Rebecca said fearfully as the Snake hissed and slithered over the rail and hissed at them both aggressively.

"Quick, we have to keep running!" Richard said to her as they ran for it down the hall, as the Snake chased after them until they got through another door and quickly closed it behind them, before they continued to run until they reached a Library.

Richard and Rebecca walked into the Library, both of them on high alert as they watched and listened out for any threats, suddenly, Rebecca heard the sound of something moving behind them, she quickly spun around and aimed her Shotgun at the doors they came through, the doors were open and she saw what looked like a trail of some kind of slime on the floor...

Rebecca followed the trail with her eyes when she heard a loud hiss behind her, she whipped around and saw the Snake was right in front of her and Richard!

"Let's finish it off, Rebecca!" Richard said to her with determination in his voice.

"I'm with you!" Rebecca said as she pumped the Shotgun she was holding, she knew that Richard was right, they would have to fight and either kill this thing or drive it off, otherwise it would just keep chasing them.

Rebecca and Billy both started shooting at the large Snake, which reared up and hissed at them both as it opened it's mouth wide and lunged at them both, causing both of them to jump aside to avoid getting bitten by the Serpent before they started shooting at it again, suddenly the Snake reared up and let out a very loud hiss, as it's mouth opened wide.

"Rebecca!!!" Richard yelled out before he ran towards the Girl, who had frozen in fear as the giant Snake lunged at her with it's mouth wide open, it was going to swallow her whole, however, Richard pushed Rebecca out of the way and made her fall to the ground, but then the Snake bit down on Richard!

Richard started screaming and yelling in pain as the Snake's large fangs stabbed into his body, it was like being stabbed by a pair of spikes, Rebecca got back up and saw the Snake thrashing it's head around violently as it tried to swallow him while Richard was screaming in pain, Rebecca's hands trembled in fear as she aimed her Shotgun at the Snake's head, but, she couldn't shoot, because she didn't want to risk hitting Richard, so she aimed lower and pulled the trigger of her Shotgun... only to get a click, she was out of ammo!

"No!" she said before she dropped the Shotgun and pulled out her Handgun, shooting the Snake's body twice, however this only seemed to make the monstrously mutated Reptile angry and thrash around more violently, also causing more damage to Richard and making some of his blood fly and splash onto Rebecca's face and body.

Richard then grot his teeth and moved his right arm so he was pointing his Handgun right down the Snake's throat and fired, the bullet tore through the Snake's throat and out the back of it's neck, the Snake let out a pained sound that was a mix between a Hiss and a Shriek, before it threw Richard aside, causing him to hit the floor hard.

"Richard!!!" Rebecca said in fear, before she watched as the Mutant Snake stretched itself up to the second floor of the Library and then slithered away, leaving the two Humans alone thankfully.

Rebecca quickly ran over to Richard and knelt down next to him, she checked over his injuries and was horrified at the sight of the terrible wounds on Richard's left arm, that must have been where the Snake's fangs had hit!

"No..." Rebecca said in despair, the injuries were terrible and she knew for a fact that that Snake's bite was venomous, if those large fangs it had were any indication.

"I messed up good, some backup I made" Richard said with a pained voice, as he was sat back against a bookcase, with Rebecca supporting him.

"Richard..." Rebecca said as she started to tear up, not wanting to lose another teammate.

"Don't make that face at me..." Richard said sternly to Rebecca, before he grunted from the pain of his wounds.

"We've still got to have hope, someone will come and rescue us... I know it" Richard said, even now when he was badly wounded and likely poisoned, he was still trying to reassure and look out for Rebecca.

Rebecca looked down and did her best to sort out her emotions, she was determined to survive and also keep Richard alive, she also hoped against hope that she would find the other members of Bravo Team alive...

(Y/N)'S POV

"Ugh... what the hell happened to me?" I asked myself as I slowly started to wake up, I managed to open my eyes and see a ceiling above me, so... I was indoors now, but... I couldn't move my body!

"What the hell is this? Wh-Why can't I-?" I wondered to myself before I suddenly remembered what had happened to me earlier, how someone had shot me with a dart and drugged me, was there someone else here?!

After what felt like hours I was soon able to sit myself up and see where I was, it was in some kind of bedroom, there was a lamp that was turned on on the bedside table, and I then looked around the room and saw a cabinet, that was holding some books and quite a few bottles, there were also bottles on a shelf next to the cabinet and a clock.

I turned my head slowly and hissed slightly from the light in my eyes, I saw a desk and chair close by, and an open closet that had blood spattered against one of the walls, I sat up further only to see a dead body on the floor!

I slowly moved myself to the edge of the bed and then stood myself up, I walked wobbly toward the dead body and noticed that it was burned quite badly, like someone had poured Gasoline or something over it and set it on fire, I then saw a second body here in this room with me that was also badly burned, what the hell happened in here?

"Hm? Looks like they were infected too, but someone killed them and burned the bodies? Why would they burn them?" I wondered to myself as I started to search around the room, and saw my Backpack sat on the chair at the desk, I then felt worried, if there was someone here who drugged me like this, did they go through my stuff?!

I hurried open and started to check through my bag, only to realise my worst fears, all the Documents and Notes I found and took from the Facility were gone, along with all of my Guns including MY MAGNUM!!

"Oh come on! Why did they steal my Magnum!? Who the fuck drugged and robbed me?!" I said angrily, pissed that someone had stolen all my weapons and my evidence and made off with them, especially my Magnum!

Then I noticed something that was stuck in the desk, it was my S.T.A.R.S. Knife, which I then pulled out of the desk and sighed to myself in annoyance.

"This is the worst... may as well look around for anything that could be useful here" I said to myself before I started to search the room, I managed to find some Handgun Ammo, which pissed me off because it felt like this was a taunt from the thief who stole my stuff, then I found a Diary that was on the floor by the desk, I picked it up and read it.

Played poker tonight with Scott and Alias from Security, and Steve from Research. Steve was the big winner, but I think he was cheating. Scumbag.

May 10, 1998

One of the higher-ups assigned me to take care of a new creature. It looks like a skinned gorilla. Feeding instructions were to give it live animals.

When I threw in a pig, the creature seemed to play with it... tearing off the pig's legs and pulling out the guts before it actually started eating.

May 11, 1998

At around 5 A.M., Scott woke me up. Scared the shit out me, too. He was wearing a protective suit. He handed me another one and told me to put it on. Said there'd been an accident in the basement lab.

I just knew something like this would happen. Those bastards in Research never sleep, even on holiday.

May 12, 1998

I've been wearing the damn space suit since yesterday. My skin's getting grimy and feels itchy all over. The goddamn dogs have been looking at me funny, so I decided not to feed them today. Screw 'em.

May 13, 1998

Went to the Infirmary because my back is all swollen and feels itchy. They put a big bandage on it and told me I didn't need to wear the suit anymore. All I wanna do is sleep.

May 14, 1998

Found another big blister on my foot this morning. I ended up dragging my foot all the way to the dog's pen. They were quiet all day, which is weird.

Then I realized some of them had escaped. Maybe this is their way of getting back at me for not feeding them the last three days. If anybody finds out, I'll have my head handed to me.

Rumors going around that a researcher who tried to escape the estate last night was shot. My entire body feels hot and itchy and I'm sweating all the time now.

I scratched the swelling on my arm and a piece of rotten flesh just dropped off. What the hell's happening to me?

Itchy itchy Scott came ugly face so killed him. Tasty.

"Oh no... they're doing experiments here as well, th-those things might be here too!" I said as I felt a chill run down my back, this was bad, after everything Rebecca and I went through in the Training Facility we just ended up in another place infested with Monsters!

Bang bang!

"What the? Gunshots? It must be one of my team!" I said to myself as I quickly grabbed my bag and ran to the door, I tried to open it but it was locked!

I growled in annoyance that this asshole has also locked me in this damn room, on top of everything else they already did to me, then I remembered the training I got from Edward about locked doors and knocked on the door to see what kind of door it was, the door was solid, making me smirk to myself as I stepped back and launched a hard kick at the door, as close to the door knob as I could, it took me two kicks but I managed to break the lock and quickly ran out of the room, to find where those gunshots came from!
