You and Chris had been dating for 4 years and normally the night before he has everything ready and packed for the day ahead which you found useful since it meant he could spend more time with you in the morning due to him being away for days and months at a time which you hated but always compromised by him taking a week off if he off longer than 4 month which was always the case.

Despite dating Chris for that long no one in any of his companies that he had worked for and the people he has worked with including Claire didn't know that he was dating anyone since he was a closed off person and you didn't mention it to your friends either until his team and or workplace knew about it and that never happened as of late.

You on the other hand was working in a bakery which was only an hour from the BSAA building so it was always fun for Chris to drop you off if he had the time, but you didn't mind taking your motorbike there, but you always appreciated the small moments you had with each other.

One day though you both did your usual routines but had fun the night before, so it threw off Chris's little routine which he didn't care for when it came to you which ensued him missing a few of his combat knives so you got up nice since you were planning to go somewhere else afterwards since you had the day off while he didn't.

As you rolled up the BSAA building you parked up and hummed a bit as you walked in and went to security who looked at you alarmed at the number of knives you had on you.

While also dating Chris you knew exactly what his job was and what he did for a living and at first you were upset at what he did worries if he was going to come back or not but that soon went out the window as he bought a phone specifically for that reason so everything he had time he would text you that he was ok and when he going to get home surprisingly his team hadn't noticed he was doing this

"Is Chris inside? He forgot a few things at home, and I came to hand them to him so he can do what he needs to do" you said softly and almost innocent like causing him to watch you cautiously as he pressed the radio to his lips.

"Captain there's a lady here to see you apparently you missed a few things at home" he spoke out his eyes not leaving you.

"I'll be down in a bit just go a sit down by the door" Chris replied through the radio knowing you could hear him as you nodding to yourself and moved to sit down at one of the many chair that they had waiting.

20 minutes had gone by, and Chris came down to the lobby decked out in his tactical gear making you chuckle as you stood up and handed him the knives causing him to put them in the respected slots in his suit.

"I hope your boss wasn't to upset that you didn't have them" you spoke out softly as you watched him casually.

"Got a punishment for it but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle" he replied as he looked up at you with a soft smile "you shouldn't have come here and handed me them you could've cut yourself" he replied resting a hand on your cheek before moving to check your hands.

"I'll be fine" you chuckled as you rested a hand on his cheek before pressing a soft kiss to his lips when no one was looking in their direction "now go do badass things I've got stuff to take care of" you chuckled patting his chest making him chuckle as you both parted and him having a stone hard look making you chuckle more, and he was fighting back a grin upon hearing you.

A few days later

The incident that happened the other day didn't occur again but you found it cute that he dropped what he was doing to come get you since you knew he was purposely leaving stuff just so he could see you at work making you grin amused at his little task so much so that the company gave you your own keycard to just go upstairs and hand deliver it and you used that to your advantage.

While working at the bakery you knew what Chris and his team liked and made deliveries to the office for random events which Chris always said that he delivered it just to get it through the door and upstairs but today you were making a personal delivery

Once you got Chris's box set up you paid for half and let the supervisor for the morning shift her duties while you went to the BSAA building with a grin plastering on your face

Once you arrived you innocently waved at everyone and made your way upstairs to the main floor that Chris is normally on but as you rode the elevator Leon and a few other team members got in the elevator too simply trying not to stare at you since they didn't know who you were so one of them had to break the silence.

"Who are you?" Leon asked as he turned to face you while leaning against the elevator doors causing you to flash him an innocent smile knowing what was going to happen and so did the other two that was in the elevator.

"someone's who getting off this floor" you replied softly as the doors opened causing him to fall back onto the floor causing you to laugh before softly moving past him to get out while he quickly got up to follow you but as you walked down the hall asking you questions that you ignored.

As you walked the halls a trail of soldiers was following them both, but they made Leon stop as they saw you stop at their captain's door making you chuckle.

"you're scared of Chris?" you asked amused as they all shook their heads trying to remain their pride, but you could see the fear "so if I knock on the door, you won't walk away? Or look scared?" you added, and they all shook their heads causing you to shrug and knocked on the door and their fear had set in.

After a few moments Chris opened the door a scowl on his face but since he heard you, he kept the stone look and moved to look into the hallways and only saw Leon standing making you chuckle into his chest.

"Cowards!" you heard Chris yell through the halls making you and Leon chuckle, but you had slipped past him and went into his office and waited for him to come in and shut the door which is when his scowl turned into a soft look "how can I help you princess?" he asked.

"Brought you some sweet goods since I thought you might need it for energy" you replied holding up the bakery box that was in your hands before moving to put it on the desk.

"Thank you, princess," he smiled as he walked over to you and held you close while you wrapped your arms around his neck as you held him close before kissing him softly which he returned happily.

After a few moments you both pulled away and started to create a conversation about anything and everything before someone knocked on the door and Chris sighed annoyed making you chuckle amused as you moved to sit on his chair and grabbed a cookie from the box which he didn't mind.

Chris answered the door to only see Umber eyes looking up at him "can I help you solider?" Chris asked as he watched him intently while you smiled innocently and waved causing him to shyly wave back.

"Uh..." he started before clearing his throat unsure what to say or how to phrase it causing you to chuckle and got up the door and stood in front of Chris with your back slightly leaning against his chest and held you hand out.

"Hi, my name is Y/N L/N and to answer the question you got forced to ask yes I am Chris's and no I'm not sharing my....well Chris's cookies" you replied softly causing Umber to shake your hand firmly but not enough to hurt you in the process "actually you know what you can get a cookie" you replied as you moved to grab the box.

"Y/N they are mine" Chris spoke out in his usual tone when he was around his soldiers.

"I'm aware babe but think about it they all ran off when you opened the door, and he was the only brave one who came back and asked the question that they had all been wanting to know so class it as a victory cookie if you will" you chuckled as he opened the box for him to grab a normal one since he assumed the special looking ones were his and didn't want to upset the captain even more

"I didn't really ask the question" Umber spoke out as he looked at you awkwardly but mainly because he dint want to disrespect the captain.

"I know you didn't, but you came back to ask said question even though it was a silent one and kind of an obvious one that everyone knew you were going to ask" you replied with a small shrug.

"Thank you" umber smiled as he looked at you but backed down when he looked up at Chris who had a scowl on his face.

"But I do have one condition though for you knowing this information" you replied as you shut the box and he nodded for you to continue "only the Hound wolf squad should know since they are the only ones, I trust at this point..." you added which Chris cut you off.

"And because they are the only ones, I've mentioned to you at this point" he replied with a small smirk as you hit him slightly.

"Get to know this so if they spread it let big bad and brooding..." you spoke out and patted Chris's chest and turned back to him "know and well, he sets the punishment io guess but for blondie just annoy him and never tell him who I am or why I am here" you finished causing him to figure out who you meant by blondie.

"Do you mean Leon?" Chris questioned as he gave a description of him, and you nodded "yeah that seems fair I never wanted him to know anyway" he added with a laugh and so did Umber and after some talk, he left, and you both went back inside to continue the conversation before taking your leave which you left alone just because he had work to finish off.

Once you got to the elevator you saw Umber eyes with a few other soldiers with him which didn't concern you, but you turned around and made an unsure face and pointed at each one and tried to guess who they were causing umber to laugh.

"Close but swap around Night Owl and Lobo and you got them right" he replied making a hand swapping motion with them as you nodded slightly as you turned back around to the now open elevator and headed inside, and they followed in suit.

"So close" you muttered to yourself causing them chuckle at you already liking you and they had just met you, but you knew their intentions was to meet you and to make sure you got to your car safely.

After you had left the building in your car and the team went back upstairs Chris had made sure that them and the entire team but Umber Eyes got severe punishment while he just did want he wanted to do for the training part

when he got home you asked him how his day was before and after your arrival and he said it went fine but had a really tough training session and you knew why so you chuckled amused and carried on the afternoon as normal.
