Team Flare....

In my opinion one of the worse evil teams of all time in all aspects (design, motives, characterization).

Design:

First off, all of the grunts, admins, and scientists all look the same and secondly they all look like some sort of rejected Performers who got kicked out of America's Got Talent or any other talent show of the such. How am I supposed to be intimidated by a bunch of flashy orange rich kids?

Heck, Yell was more intimidating than these jokers (and done better too).

Also something random, Lysandre wears his mega ring on his middle finger which is kind of odd. So this dude literally flips the bird everytime he uses it.

Naming Sceme:

Most Teams names line up with their motives (Aqua, Magma, Galactic, Plasma, and Yell) while others atleast make a little sense on why they are called such (Skull and Rocket). But Flare is a different story.

Their team is named after Solar Flares and their motives literally have nothing that even lines up why the name, not even a theme or motto. Likely the only reason they even have that name was because of Lysandre wanting all of his team to wear that eye-hurting orange and to use fire types because Froakie over here isn't BOTHERED to use A FIRE TYPE AS HIS ACE POKÉMON AND INSTEAD USES A MEGA GYARADOS......

AN F****** GYARADOS!!

AND YOU CALL YOURSELF TEAM FLARE WHEN YOUR LEADER DOESN'T EVEN USE HIS ONLY FIRE TYPE, PYROAR, AS HIS ACE POKÉMON AND INSTEAD A WATER TYPE....

Look I have nothing against him using a Gyarados on his team but for the love of Arceus..... HIS PYROAR SHOULD ATLEAST BE HIGHER LEVEL THAN IT BECAUSE THIS JUST FEELS LIKE A LAZY ATTEMPT TO SQUEEZE A MEGA EVOLUTION ONTO HIS TEAM!

Back to what I was saying about the name....

Since their motives are to "create a beautiful world" Using the legendaries of of either Life/Death why not call them something like Team Order instead since if we got a Pokémon Z and in the anime they end up using Zygrade, the order Pokémon.

Motives:

Basically what you get if you fuse Team Rocket with Team Galactic but instead their motives were written poorly. Throw in some rich kids, Megas, whole lot more and bam! You got yourself Team Flare.

Their motives in the first place are so bland and generic to the point it just feels like a redo of the previous Teams, mostly Galactic.

Don't get me started on how much it costs to join Flare. I'm sorry but there are plenty of other evil teams where it's free to sign up up for and who's goals are much better than yours (Neo Plasma had grunts who literally had no place to go and were forced to sign up).

Also the Ultimate Weapon. You know their plans could've easily been stopped if someone where to have thrown something at the UW and broke it. The thing's made from some kind of glass/crystal, so that thing might shatter if something were to slam into it hard enough.

Notable members:

I won't be talking about Malva because she only shows up once during the main story before the elite four and in general who cares about her. Also calm down you crazy lady, it's not my fault your leader got buried six-feet under with the rest of the team.

Now onto the scientists. How the hell was I supposed to know these people were scientists cause they sure don't look like the such. They look more like admins. Also since their names are hard to pronounce (minus Mable) I'm just going to call them A, B, C, M, and X.

Previous researchers who worked for evil teams you could actually tell they were researchers. Someone get these 5 a lab coat like during that once flashback in the anime or something and maybe have the female scientists change into something a little more appropriate for a Laboratory.

Xerosic is the only one of the 5 who actually kinda looks professional but he looks creepy to all heck. Just look how pale this dude is! He's so pale he makes Recon Squad look tan.

Also a single blue glove on your hand doesn't make it look at all creepy.

Finally we leave Lysandre. This dude's design is great but he's just a flat out moron. His goals are just a copy-and-paste of Cyrus'.

Though I do feel bad for what happened to him in the end, being trapped underground is not the way I would've wanted to go out. Heck I would've had this man drug out with the main character just as the weapon fires and destroys their base.
