THIRD PERSON POV

"Taehyung! No- wait!! We have to dry your hair before you can go!" one of the hair stylists shouted after the boy who had sprinted away the moment they were done washing his hair.

Taehyung stopped in his tracks and whined, "noona~ but I have to go, it's really important!"

"No, nothing can be more important than drying your hair right now," stated the woman firmly as she led him back to the chair. "We don't want you dripping water around or falling sick because you were walking around with wet hair!"

Taehyung huffed and crossed his arms, looking adorable instead of angry. The older woman cooed at the sight. She had known Taehyung since he had been 17 yet his impatience and cuteness has never changed during those 5 years.

"Come on, don't make that face," chuckled the stylist as she blow-dried the boy's hair while the latter had an angry pout on his face. "I'm going to make it quick."

Taehyung sighed. He had burst into the company this morning, looking for Jungkook (he hadn't seen him in the morning because he had woken up late and Jungkook had already gone) and the second he had entered, he had been forcefully pulled to get his hair dyed.

And now he was being forced to sit on a chair while his hair was being dried when all he wanted to do was see Jungkook!

"Done!" The hair stylist exclaimed merely a few moments later, chuckling and shaking her head at the boy who quickly thanked her and sprinted out of the room.

Taehyung looked around the building for a while but couldn't find the boy he was looking for. He pouted sadly and went to sit on a bench under a tree found on one of the small patches of grass surrounding the company building. Since he was at the back, he was alone, wondering where Jungkook could be.

No sooner had he thought that that he saw a black haired boy coming to the back of the building as well. The boy looked rather dull and looked down while walking. However, the moment he lifted his head up and saw Taehyung, his eyes lit up. He jogged over to the latter, stopping in front of him with a look of hesitancy etched on his features.

"Hyung..." started Jungkook. "Can we talk for a minute?"

To his great surprise, he saw Taehyung nodding, patting the space next to him on the bench. Jungkook had expected him to ignore him and walk away.

"I wanted to speak to you too, I looked for you everywhere," admitted Taehyung as Jungkook sat beside him.

"Really? I was looking for you too," replied Jungkook, an unconscious smile on his face.

"Probably why none of us saw the other," chuckled Taehyung. Jungkook let out a short giggle before an awkward silence engulfed them.

Taehyung cleared his throat. "So, umm... I wanted to-" Taehyung paused to take a deep breath since his words were all getting jumbled. "I'm sorry, Jungkook-ah," he said finally.

The younger furrowed his eyebrows. "What for?" He asked, puzzled.

"For being so childish about all this. I mean, it's your business and your decision to tell about it or not. It's not like you have to share everything with me, so I- I shouldn't have got upset because of that. It was really immature of me to behave that way, I'm sorry-" said Taehyung but Jungkook had practically thrown himself onto the elder, interrupting him.

"You don't have to apologise, hyungie," he said as he wrapped his arms tightly around Taehyung. "It's not your fault, in fact it's mine. I should've told you much earlier and-" Jungkook pulled away from the hug to look at Taehyung, "and it also wasn't appropriate of me to bring you to my parents' house like that without even telling you the real reason, so you had every right to be mad at me. I am really sorry, hyung."

"It's okay," smiled Taehyung, ruffling the younger boy's hair a little.

"And congratulations on your engagement," added Taehyung. He had decided that he had to accept the fact that Jungkook was getting engaged, so the least he could do was sincerely congratulate him.

"I'm not yet engaged though," chuckled Jungkook.

"Yeah, but it's soon. Two months, isn't it?" Jungkook nodded and Taehyung went on, "well, I'm happy for you. You really love her, right?"

Taehyung kept smiling even though the thought of Jungkook liking someone else so much didn't make him all that joyful. He wanted to be happy for him, he really did, but it was hard when he had to witness the younger getting married to someone that wasn't him.

Jungkook hesitated but it went unnoticed by Taehyung. "Y-yeah, I do," said Jungkook. The previous night, when he had talked to Seokjin about everything, he had also told him about his situation with Taehyung and the eldest had advised him to be truthful to Taehyung.

Yet, Jungkook couldn't help himself. After all, he would have to get engaged anyway. So, whether it was out of love or out of helplessness, what difference would it make? Jungkook didn't know why but he didn't want to tell everyone the real conditions of this marriage. He didn't want people to pity him, because he wasn't being forced into this, he was doing it for someone else.

"That's good then," said Taehyung, his voice showing a hint of despondency though he tried to sound cheerful.

Jungkook hummed and another wave of silence engulfed them. Though, this time, it was not awkward.

Taehyung was staring ahead of him, gazing at the cotton candy-like clouds floating in the blue sky. He felt a pair of eyes intently staring at him. He ignored it but the feeling remained.

He turned his face to the side to see Jungkook still staring at him, a fascinated look on the younger's face. "Is there something on my face?" Taehyung asked.

This seemed to have taken Jungkook out of his trance. He shook his head, realising he had been staring for quite long. "No, sorry- you- this hair colour really...suits you. Y-you're handsome," Jungkook replied quickly, blushing lightly as he looked away after mumbling the last line.

"It's my natural hair colour, Kookie, of course it's gonna suit me," Taehyung chuckled softly.

"Yeah, I know. I'm just saying it's been a while since you've last had all black hair. I think the last time I saw you with it was during our trainee days," reminisced Jungkook.

"Yeah, that's true," hummed Taehyung, one hand moving to brush some locks of black hair away from his eyes. "By the way, did you hear that we're beginning the shooting of the euphoria mv today?"

"Yeah, it's in the afternoon," answered the younger.

"I never really got to see the location, you know?" Taehyung said teasingly. Jungkook laughed, recalling how he brought Taehyung to Busan with him when they were supposed to go see the filming site.

"Sorry about that, but even I didn't go," replied the younger. "But wait, I have some pictures, let me show you," he said, scooting closer to Taehyung to show him the photos on his phone.

The two looked through the images for a while, their excitement growing. Soon enough, they had forgotten all about their little fight and were talking just like how they used to.

After some more viewing, they went back inside the building. They entered the practice room together and Jimin shot a knowing smile at Taehyung while Jungkook received a similar one from Seokjin. The two were glad to see that the two youngest members had cleared the tension between them.

Jimin pulled Taehyung to the side while Jungkook went to change. "So, you told him? How did it go?" Jimin enquired.

Taehyung sighed. "I only apologised to him, I didn't tell him about my feelings," he replied.

"Oh," said Jimin a little disappointed since he had thought that Taehyung would get it all over with, though he understood it was hard for his best friend. With a smile, he added, "it's fine still, as long as you both are talking and happy."

Taehyung nodded and went to change as well. They practiced their choreographies for a few hours before taking a break for lunch. Afterwards, they were called by their managers to set off to the shooting location. Taehyung and Jungkook sat side by side in the van, listening to music using a shared pair of earphones while the older of the two had his head on the younger's shoulder.

It felt nice to just be in each other's presence, forgetting about everything that had happened between them lately. Still, Taehyung could not help the small aching feeling in his chest as he reflected on how Jungkook would partially belong to someone else in the upcoming weeks.

They finally reached the first location. It was the same one where they had shot I Need U. "Ooh this place brings back memories, doesn't it?" Namjoon started. All the boys nodded and hummed as they got out of the van, the cold air of early February hitting them, causing them to lightly shiver.

"I Need U..." Yoongi mumbled. He looked around with a nostalgic look on his face as a small smile spread slowly on his lips. "The song that got us our first win."

Seeing all the boys looking so nostalgic and silent, Jimin decided to brighten up the atmosphere a little. "So, Tae, are you going to jump from there like a chicken again?" He asked, snickering while pointing at the tall structure that stood beside them.

"Hey! I did NOT jump like a chicken!" Taehyung exclaimed, pretending to be offended though he knew Jimin was only teasing him like the boys so often did.

"Yes, you did," laughed Seokjin. "The stuntman did that so well when he showed it to you while you just jumped like a flailing chicken trying to fly while falling off a building."

All the boys laughed at the comparison. They loved teasing Taehyung about this because he always looked so adorable while pouting angrily and protesting. "That's not true," the boy pouted.

Jungkook approached him with a fond smile. "I think you looked pretty cool doing that stunt," he praised.

"Finally someone who acknowledges my skills! Thank you!" Taehyung dramatically exclaimed, flailing his hands around. The members let out another laugh of fondness.

The next thing they knew was that they had been called to touch up their makeup and hair for the filming to begin since they had already changed into the designated outfits prior to leaving Seoul. After they were all ready, they gathered near the beach to start shooting.

"It's been a while since we've all had black hair," Hoseok pointed out.

"Yeah, feels different to see no colourful heads at an MV shooting," snickered Yoongi, who, most of the time, had his hair dyed to some really bright colour.

Namjoon nodded. "Yeah, it does. But it also feels fresh to see everyone with their original hair colour again," he said, earning hums of agreement from the others.

The shooting then began. All the boys had fun running around and driving in the SUV. It also involved a bit of acting on Taehyung and Seokjin's parts and the group filming soon ended in success after they had monitored each shot and everyone was satisfied with the outcome.

None of them knew how the time flew by so fast as it was already dusk. The sun was setting while the boys grabbed a snack. They took a bit of rest, but not completely relaxing since they knew the shooting would go on for the whole night and probably the next day too.

While the others sat back and kept eating, Jungkook was called by the director for his individual shot. The directors seemed to believe that it would be perfect to shoot this scene in the twilight.

After changing, Jungkook was led to the top of a tall building which overlooked the city. The view from above was splendid. While he waited for the cameramen to finish setting up their cameras and all, Jungkook admired the bright city when he got startled by a presence beside him.

"Oh hyung, it's you," he exhaled, seeing Taehyung looking at him. The elder chuckled.

"Sorry for scaring you," he said.

"It's fine, was just lost in the view," replied Jungkook.

"It really is pretty, especially at twilight," commented Taehyung, earning a hum from Jungkook while both of them leaned against the railing.

The temperature had dropped considerably, causing Taehyung to shiver a little. Jungkook noticed and said, "you should go back with the others, it's getting cold here. You could get sick."

Taehyung shook his head. "I wanna see you shooting," he smiled. Jungkook was about to protest but the director asked him to start filming. Jungkook's shot didn't take too long since he only had to spread his arms while facing the city or smile at the camera and things like that.

However, towards the end of his shooting, he noticed Taehyung was gone. 'Probably felt cold,' he thought but didn't dwell much on it since he didn't want Taehyung to catch a cold because of him.

Nonetheless, when he was all done and had started looking through the scenes he had just filmed, he felt something warm on his back. Turning around, he saw Taehyung wrapping a big jacket around him. The older also wore a similar one.

"You didn't have to, hyung, I'm practically done," he smiled though he was grateful for it. Taehyung simply shrugged and said they could stay here for a while more.

And so, they did. After the cameramen, directors and everyone else had wrapped up, the two of them remained on the rooftop, leaning against the railing like they had been earlier. Huddled in their warm jackets, they stood in a comfortable silence, simply enjoying each other's presence.

"You did great, by the way," praised Taehyung, breaking the silence.

Jungkook thanked him and asked, "when are you filming your individual shot?"

"In the morning," the older replied briefly.

For a short moment, another wave of silence engulfed them. They didn't have to say anything, the cold air carried their unspoken words and untold feelings to the other. Taehyung thought that the atmosphere was perfect, maybe a little too perfect even, to speak of those hidden feelings.

Taking a deep breath, he decided to do it. What was the worst that could happen anyway? Jungkook lifting him up and throwing him off the railing? Well, at least he would just die and wouldn't have to face the embarrassment of getting rejected.

"Jungkook..." trailed Taehyung, his voice barely audible. Jungkook let out a hum.

"I have something to tell you-" the older was interrupted by the loud ringing of Jungkook's phone, which highly contrasted the frailty of Taehyung's voice.

It was Namjoon, telling them to come down for dinner. "So, what were you saying?" asked Jungkook after he ended the call.

"Oh, no, it's n-nothing. It can wait anyway," replied Taehyung hastily. The sudden interruption robbed him of his courage and confidence. It would really have to wait now.

Downstairs, everyone was gathered in the indoor set, eating and discussing the shoot schedules.

Taehyung saw Jimin waving, telling the two to join the boys at their table. "I just talked to the director," they heard Namjoon say as they approached. "He said we have till tomorrow to film the whole thing because they had to get permission from the district police for tomorrow's filming site and they granted it for a day only."

The boys groaned at that. Everyone would be exhausted with all that. They had to film the whole night and the whole day tomorrow. Namjoon then smiled. "However..." he trailed and then exclaimed, "we're getting a day off the following day!"

A round of cheers was heard among them. Those died down after a while as they had to get back to work. Jimin and Hoseok were called to get ready to shoot their scene together. It was a scene where they were supposedly in a hospital and Hoseok had a problem of falling asleep wherever and whenever. So, Jimin would save him as Hoseok falls asleep while walking down the stairs.

Meanwhile, the other boys either got ready for their respective shoots or went to sleep if they had time before their own shoot. There were reclining chairs and sofas placed around the set for people to rest. Yoongi sat on one of the sofas, watching Jimin and Hoseok film for a moment before he eventually fell asleep despite the noise surrounding him. Well, it's Yoongi we're talking!

As for Namjoon and Seokjin, they sat on some chairs watching the shooting too. The stylists told them they could sleep if they wanted to while waiting for Hoseok and Jimin to finish, but both of them decided against it, affirming that they would sleep till morning after their scenes.

As for Taehyung and Jungkook, both were free for the night. The older's individual shooting was in the early morning while Jungkook had one with Yoongi just before Taehyung's. They wanted to catch some sleep as well but found the set way too noisy to fall asleep, wondering how the hell could Yoongi sleep in such a cacophonous environment.

They decided to head to the van they had arrived in (not the SUV but their comfortable van with reclining seats and all) to sleep in there since the parking area was a lot more peaceful.

Jungkook settled in one of the reclining massage-type of chairs while Taehyung occupied the long row of seats at the back since he preferred to sleep on his side, especially if he had nothing to hug. The seat was somewhat comfortable (it looked and felt very much like a couch) but Taehyung couldn't sleep despite turning around a few times.

Having apparently noticed, Jungkook sat up on his reclined chair and looked back at him. "Can't sleep, hyung?" He inquired.

"I'm okay, it's just a little hard to fall asleep like that," he replied. Jungkook knew it was because he had nothing to hold and he couldn't sleep well without hugging something.

"Come here," said the younger.

Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "Where?"

Jungkook just motioned for him to come closer. A little hesitant, the older stood up and walked towards Jungkook. The latter pulled him on his lap and then pulled his whole body onto his own, so that Taehyung was lying on top of him.

Taehyung got flustered and felt his cheeks become hotter. He was almost sure that the other could feel the heat radiating off them. He struggled a little in his hold, telling Jungkook that he could sleep on his own but that only made the younger tighten his arms around him.

He had one arm around Taehyung's waist while the other caressed his hair gently. "Shh just sleep," whispered Jungkook.

Taehyung relaxed and stopped resisting, realising that all his attempts would be futile. He sincerely enjoyed Jungkook's warmth anyway. With a growing smile on his lips and a prominent blush on his cheeks, the boy peacefully dozed off while Jungkook still played with his hair and caressed his waist until he, too, fell asleep.
