Chapter III | Castigated Kindred Spirit

CHAPTER III | Castigated Kindred Spirit

"You've disobeyed the seven crowns!" The immortals reprimand Gella. "You are a disgrace to the Providence." The gray brick pavement under her cracks. The five pillars around Gella and the immortals tremble in anger. "We offered you recognition." The blue flames embellishing the immortals fuel with potential.

"Everyone needs him." She insists. "The young titan boy, Eren Yeager needs him the most." Her wrists and ankles ache from the flaming chains.

The seven immortals circle her. "Since when did you think your opinions hold certainty and authority?"

"I've never intended-"

"You indeed did!" She flinches from their shouting. The Isabel Magnolia concealing her true identity sheds away. "Because of your grave insolence and treacherous actions-"

Gella stomps her foot. "I never tried to deceive the seven crowns and the Providence." She clenches her hands. "I may have disobeyed, but for the good. Not for the bad." She sighs. "I plea for understanding. Levi Ackerman, the man you demand and treasure will reunite with us and fulfill his destiny." She takes a step forward. "I only beg you to allow just a bit more time."

"His death will now be his worst suffering if we allow this to proceed." The seven immortals state. The cracking and trembling halts. She lowers her head in reminder of her daring actions.

"I only seek their peace." She mumbles to herself.

"And peace will be served." A relaxed confident voice enters the room of the seven crowns. All eyes turn to the sinfully handsome incubus making his way to the center. "Good day." He lifts his black hat embellished in gold and burgundy symbols, in gesture. "My delightful friends." He sends them a smirk.

"What brings the unwanted before us?" One of the immortals draws a blade followed by all of them.

"Is this a proper way to greet your old pal?" He stops next to Gella. "I did help you when troubled did I?" He puts on his hat again. The incubus gasps in fascination when noticing Gella from up close. "What a marvelous spirit I see beside me." He holds Gella's soft chin. "So ravishing and stunning." He licks his thin lips. "So sweet and pure." He growls. "You would have been satisfying if you were alive and with flesh, my darling."

"Why are you here, Virtuse?" The inquiry forces the elegant incubus away from Gella.

"It's been decades I haven't heard the seven crowns call my name." He chuckles in a deep voice. "How honorable of you."

"Gella." The immortals call out. "You'll be placed into isolation for the time being until we have given out our verdict."

"Nah. Ah." Virtuse shakes his index finger. "Not when I'm present." His stunning light blue eyes darken in hunger. "I have to admire this beauty for a bit longer until ending our conversation, all mighty crowns." He grabs Gella from the waist and pulls her next to him. "You rather have me take her with me and claim her for eternity?"

"Then what's your purpose for your presence?"

"Collaboration." He bluntly says. The immortals look at one another in vexation.

"Compromise to your proposition?" A female immortal says.

"My darling Gella, here-" He caresses Gella's cheek. "-has disobeyed the Providence." Virtuse looks at her as he speaks. "So disobedient. So naughty." He breathes onto her spirit, imagining the different ways he could make her beg his name for her liberation. He shrugs nonchalantly. "What better way to perish Levi Ackerman's suffering by draining the life out of him while he sleeps." He gently holds Gella's hand and kisses her knuckles. "Strip Gella's title as a kindred spirit and transform her into a succubus." He proposes.

Gella shoves Virtuse away to no avail. "You're insane." She struggles in his arms.

"Am I?" Virtuse says calmly. "Then will you rather allow that human die in torment and be marked for eternity because of your foolish thinking? Rethink again my darling." He yanks her near him, nose to nose. "If he dies suffering, he'll suffer in the afterlife until Lucifer drags him with his soothing false promises."

"With all the doubts we possess in you, incubus." The immortal speaks. "We agree with your plan."

"What a pleasure." Virtuse let's go of Gella and bows.

"What will you like in return?"

He smiles. "I thought you wouldn't ask." He straightens himself. "How considerate of you." He rubs his protruding jaw line. "How about I return to your realm as an immortal, again?" He sends them a grave expression.

"Again?" Gella steps back in confusion. "He was an immortal?"

"You've traversed the several dimensions to claim your chair?" The immortal says. "Did Lucifer not comply to your wishes?"

"He complied. Oh he did." He lifts an index finger. "However, constant flames isn't my cup of arousement." Virtuse flicks his fingernails. "All the wailing had me drained and annoyed." He frowns at the memory but then smiles. "Besides, being an immortal has its perks and its own satisfaction of pleasure even if it means remaining in the depths of darkness until being called upon."

"Then what's my destiny, my seven crowns?" Gella speaks up. The seven immortals pounder in thought.

"Have the seven crowns become so indecisive?" Virtuse folds his arms to his chest.

"Alright." The immortals decide. "The plan will proceed. Gella will be stripped from her title and be shifted into a succubus. After succeeding if succeed, Virtuse will return to his chair."

Splendid
