Suddenly he noticed his wrist watch, its already 10:50pm and was shocked. Ayesha noticed it.

AYESHA: Kya hua aap achanak itna shock kyun ho gye jaise kisi bhoot ko dekh liya ho. Kahin mere pichhe sach me koi hai kya? Aap chup kyun hai? Are kuch toh boliye.

RATHOD: Nhi nhi bhoot nhi hai...

AYESHA (cut him in between): Toh phir aap itne shock kyun hai? Kya hua aap ki tabiyat toh thik hai n? (with concern)

RATHOD (calmly): Main bilkul thik hoon. Aur waise bhi mujhe kya hoga?

AYESHA: Toh phir aap aise kyun dekh hai?

RATHOD: Are, main shock isliye hoon kyunki bahut late ho gya hai. Baat karte karte samay ka pta hi nhi chala. Dekho 11 bajne me bas 5 mins hi bache hai. So, let's sleep kal Office bhi jana hai.

AYESHA (see time): mmm haa..bahut late ho gya hai hume sona chahiye. Subah jaldi uthana bhi hai aur office bhi jaldi jana hai. Let's sleep. Gn 😪 Mr. Rathod.

RATHOD: Gn 😪 Mrs Rathod.

Saying so, both sleep.

All (except bosses) were busy in chatting 🤣😂 (as usual aur kya Expect kar sakte hai) except doing their work.

SAKSHI: Guys, saare arrangements ho gaya hai n?

AYESHA: Haa Sakshi sab ho gya hai, decorations complete, cabins bhi achhe se clean karwa diya hai, saare arrangements complete ho gye hai.

SHREE: I'm very much excited guys.

CHHOTU: Main bhi bahut excited hoon. Aaj n party jaisi vibes aa rahi hai. Aur aaj mujhe khane ko bhi bahut kuch milne wala hai.

DISHA: Chhotu, tu hamesha khane ke baare me hi kyun sochta hai?

SAMEER: Toh tumhe itni problem kyun ho rahi hai, wah tumhara toh nhi kha raha hai n...

GAURI: Saamy Disha please abb tum dono suru mat hona. Waise abhi tak sir aaye kyun nhi?

LIZA: Waise main Arjun sir ko bahut miss karne wali hoon.

SAKSHI: Lekin Arjun toh issi building me rahega n toh tu unhe miss kyun karegi?

SHREE: Aahan, kaun bol raha hai. Jaise tu sir ko miss nhi kar ne wali. Hum sab me se sabse pahle tu hogi wah jo bolegi (mimicking sakshi) guys I wish ki arjun mujhe aise chhod kar nhi jata. Kaas wah bhi humare sath isi office me rahta. Ab main uske bina kaise rahungi.

AYESHA: Shree kyun pareshan kar raha hai sakshi ko. Abb sab kaam par lago.

Saying so, all went to do their respective works. All were busy in their work when a girl came towards shree and shout in his ear. He startled in his position and turn to see the person. He became statue as if seen some ghost in place of person. All except chhotu who were present in hall also get startled and look at the voice. Chhotu who went to canteen came back with burger stuff in his mouth and look at everyone who were looking at shree's direction. He too turn his head towards the direction where everyone were looking at. He gulped his burger in surprise. He ran towards girl and hug her tightly making everyone surprise. Shree too came towards both and hug them. They hugged her so tight that girl was unable to breath.

AYESHA: Guys, abb tum dono unhe chhod sakte ho. See, she is unable to breath.

Listening Ayesha, both realise and leave her. Both get emotional and started shedding tears. All look at them with open mouth while the girl wipe their tears and lightly hug them. Both too response to her hug and after sometime parted still with tears in their eyes.

GIRL: (trying to console) Hey, mere Bheem aur noodles ke ankhon me itne mote mote anshu kya kar rahe hai. Tum dono itne jayada dukhi ho mujhe dekh ke ki bachho ki tarah rone lage? (With cute pout) Haww, aur main yahan soch rahi thi tum dono ko surprise karne ka. Hunnn, jao katti, baat nhi karungi tum dono se.

Saying this she turn her face at other side making a cute pout which can make anyone say aww looking at her. She is looking like a baby koala. Both came to their sense and look at her. Both came infront of her and catch their ears.

CHHOREE: Sorry yaar please apne inn bhole Bheem aur noodles ko maaf karde.

CHHOTU: Yeh jo itne mote mote anshu humare aankhon me hai n wah toh khushi ke anshu hai. Hum tujhe dekh ke itna khush ho gye ki yeh anshu bhi bolne lage abb toh mujhe bahar jane do, toh hum kya hi kar sakte the.

SHREE: Aur nhi toh kya. Aur waise bhi tujhe toh pta hai n ki hum koi bache nhi hai jo rone lage. Yeh ankhe bhi tujhe dekhne ke liye taras gye the isliye toh tujhe dekhne ke baad khud hi nal ki tarah behne(flow) lage.

All were trying to suppress their laugh while seeing both of their explanation upon the tears. The girl was too trying to control herself and made a cold face but inside her mind she was enjoying there situation and expressions. She look at them and again moved to other side. Both again towards her and start doing sit ups to pacify her. She saw them and immediately stop them from doing that. Both see her with most cute puppy eyes which melt her heart and she hugged both. Both too response. After sometime, they parted and again both apologies to which she immediately forgiven them.

SHREE: Tujhe pta hai humne tujhe kitna miss kiya. Aise bhi kya emergency thi ki bina inform kiye tu hume chhod kar chali gyi. Tujhe Idea bhi nhi hai, humari kya halat ho gyi thi. We are best friends n toh Bina bataye koi apne best friend ko aise akele chhod kar jata hai kya.

CHHOTU: Haa, na koi call, na message. Atleast jab hum tujhe contact karne ki koshish karte the tab tu call recieve kar sakti thi n. Pta hai kitna tensions me the hum. Humare baare me n sochti, atleast Aai(Maa) ke health ke baare me puchne ke liye hi call kar leti. Hum dono se jayada wah tere liye pareshan thi.

SHREE: Tujhe pta hai, maine uncle ko bhi call kiya tha tere baare me janne ke liye but unhone call hi receive hi nhi kiya.

Both were extremely hurt and upset with their friend behaviour. They tried to find her everywhere and contact the people who know her but didn't got any information. She was upset and regretted her behaviour towards friends.

GIRL: Sorry, Shree aur Chhotu. Please mujhe maaf kardo. I know maine jo kiya wah maafi ke layak nahi hai but phir bhi ho sake toh please forgive your Ri.

CHHOTU: pagal ho gyi hai kya Ri, kuch bhi bakwas kar rahi hai. Tu kyun sorry bol rahi hai, we know koi bahut bada issue hoga aur tu kisi ko pareshan nhi karna chahti hogi isliye tune hume contact nhi kiya. It's ok, hum samjhate hai.

SHREE: Abb insab baton ko ek dabbe me dal ke kahin dur bhek de kyunki hume nhi janna tu hume chhod kar kyun gyi. Jab tera man kare bata dena. Abb insab ko side karte hai aur pta tu kaisi hai?

[** So, the girl is none other than their bestest friend Riya Mukherjee urf apne doston ki Ri and our Research Specialist and one of main heroin of this book.**]

RIYA: Jaisi dikh rahi hoon tum dono ko waisi hi hoon. I'm good after meeting you both.

CHHOREE: Wah toh dikh hi raha hai.

RIYA: waise aaj itni decoration kis khushi me kiya hai?

AYESHA: Wah aaj se new branch suru ho raha hai isliye yeh sab arrangement hai. Waise aap kaun hai?

SHREE: (by hitting his forehead with palm) Ohhoo, itni important baat hum kaise bhul gye Chhotu.

All were giving him are you gone mad look while Chhotu was giving him confused look and Riya was just enjoying her friend reaction and acting.

RIYA: Shree, tujhse acting nhi hoti toh karta kyun hai. Itni overacting dekh ke mujhe sugar ho jana hai.

LIZA: yeh baat toh tumne sahi kaha Riya. Yeh toh hai hi namuna aur tumhare aane se aur bhi idiot panti dikhayega. Waise Riya tum yahan?

RIYA: Liz kitni baar bola hai Ri bola kar Riya nhi, aur tu bol na tum kya hota hai. Leave it. So let me introduce myself, team I'm Riya Mukherjee, iss branch ki new Research Specialist. Chhoree iss se pahle ki tum dono excited ho let me first meet Rathod sir.

AYESHA: main aapko leke chalti hoon. Wah mujhe sir ko ek file bhi deni thi toh wah bhi de dungi.

GAURI: Ayu, tujhe kaun si file deni hai sir ko?

AYESHA: Are wah blue file jo aate waqt main head quarter se leke aayi thi n wah wali.

CHHOTU: Subah toh tu Rathod sir ke sath hi aayi thi tab kyun nhi di?

All were looking at her as she was caught while stealing something. She was thinking of some excuse and look at everyone who was looking at her with one eyebrow raised. Riya who was silent spectator looked at everyone and then at Ayesha. She decide to help her from these group of friends.

RIYA: Guys, aise kya dekh rahe ho. Mana wah Rathod sir ke sath aayi thi iska matlab yeh toh nhi ki wah file bahar hi dede.

AYESHA: Actually main sir ko file de deti lekin uss me kuch information add karne the toh nhi de pai aur arrangements me bhul hi gyi thi abhi yaad aaya. Wah uss samay sir bhi nhi the toh kise deti.

SAMMY: hey, Ayesha, calm down yaar. Koi explanation ki jarurat nhi hai hum toh bas tumhari tang kich rahe the, tum toh serious ho gyi thi.

SAKSHI: waise bhi dono khadoos bahar gye the toh tu kya unki spirit ko file deti. I think Sameer aa gya hai, right Dishu?

DISHA: Haa, maine abhi thode der pahle hi Sameer ko dekha tha. Tum dono jaldi jakar mil lo.

RIYA: Hmm, then let's go Ay...

AYESHA: Ayesha.

RIYA: yes Ayesha, let's go. Will meet later guys.

Saying so both left towards Rathod's cabin. On the way, both had a good conversation and immediately became friends. Soon both reached at Rathod's cabin and Ayesha knocked on door. Listening Rathod's voice, Ayesha suggest Riya to go first. Riya too agreed and went inside.

RATHOD'S CABIN
TIME:10:15 AM

Rathod was in his cabin reading some case file when he heard a knock on door. He thought of Ayesha as he asked her to submit the file with some additional information which she collected from HQ. He immediately asked the person to come. He was pretending to read the file but his all attention was towards door. Soon door open and a girl in her early twenties came wearing a white shirt with blue denim jeans and made her hair in high pony. He looked at her and was surprised to see her after whole six months.

RATHOD: Riya, have a sit.

RIYA: Good morning Rathod sir. Kaise hai aap?

RATHOD: Main thik hoon, Riya. Tum batao kaisi ho aur achanak se gayab kahan ho gyi thi?

RIYA: sir, main bhi thik hoon. Wah kuch family emergency aa gyi thi isliye bina bataye jana para. Sorry sir, aap sab ko pareshan karne ke liye.

RATHOD: It's okay Riya. But next time se aisa mat karna okay. Aur agar koi problem hua toh feel free to ask, we all are with you, right.

RIYA: kabhi nhi karungi sir. Yes sir yaad rakhungi.

RATHOD: That's like good girl. Waise tum yahan?

RIYA: Yes sir, newly appointed as a Research Specialist. Yeh Mera transfer letter.

Rathod took the letter. He read it and then sign it. He keep the letter inside his drawer and is happy for her. She was his student and now he will able to resume his field training which was left incomplete.

RATHOD: Yeh toh bahut achhi baat hai. Chalo abb tumhari field training bhi achhe ho payegi. Tum kal se join kar sakti ho.

RIYA: Yes sir, main apni training ke liye bahut excited hoon. Sir, main kalse nhi balki aaj se hi join kar rahi hoon. Please mana mat kijiye, pls. (Very cutely)

RATHOD: Okay, join kar sakti ho. Abb main kaun hota hoon tumhe mana karne wala. Welcome to ETF, Miss statistics.

RIYA: Thank you sir.

She left his cabin with a smile. He was too happy to see his student back after so many months. She came outside and saw Ayesha with chocolates. She gave some of chocolates to her and smile. She too accept it because she can't say no to chocolates.

RIYA: you know these chocolates are my favourite. Waise yeh chocolates kis khushi me.

AYESHA: really, it's mine too. Aise toh main kisi se share nahi karti but abb nayi dosti ki suruat kuch meetha se hona toh banta hai isliye yeh.

RIYA: Thank you yaar, you are the best.

AYESHA: Friendship me no sorry and no thank you. Wah toh main hoon.

Saying so, both high figh eachother and smile. Riya bid bye and left from there to meet her new team members while Ayesha knocked on door. She entered with file in one her hand and other with chocolates.

Rathod who was reading file heard the knock and asked the person to come. He was reading file when felt someone's presence. He looked up and saw Ayesha with file and chocolates was standing there looking at her hands. He cleared his throat to which she look at him. He asked her to have a sit. She sat down comfortably on chair and passed him file with chocolates. Rathod gave her confused look and took the things. She look at him and saw that her chocolates were in his hands. She frowned and extend her hands for it. He look at her face and then at extended hand. He gave her confused look.

RATHOD: Kya chahiye?

AYESHA: Wahi jo aapke hath me hai, wah mera hai.

Rathod look at his hands and thought that she is pointing at file. He again look at her and shook his head.

RATHOD: Yeh aapka kaise hua, yeh toh aapko mujhe dena tha toh technically yeh mera hua.

AYESHA: lekin wah aapka kaise ho sakta hai. Usse toh main leke aayi thi toh wah mera hua. Wapas dijiye mujhe.

RATHOD: Are lekin yeh maine hi bola tha aapko lane ke liye toh yeh aapka kaise hua? Ek baar jo mere pass aa jati hai usse me kisi ko nhi deta. Toh aapko bhi nhi milega.

AYESHA: Isse main apne liye layi thi naki aapke liye. Agar aapko chahiye hi tha toh pahle bolna tha main aapke liye bhi do-tin leke aa jati.

RATHOD: Ayesha, file ko aap kaise do ya tin la sakti hai? Mujhe bas yahi file chahiye aur koi bhi nhi.

Ayesha who was asking Rathod to gave back her chocolates realise that he was talking about file which she mistook it. But, it was his fault too as he should use his regarding this. She side her thought and look at him who was looking at her with confuse face. She suppress her laugh as he was looking very cute like baby with confused face. She shook her head.

RATHOD: Abb aap apna sar(head) kyun hila rahin hain? Kya hua, aap aise kyun dekh rahi hai?

AYESHA: Aap aise confused face ke bahut cute dikh rahe hai just like a chubby baby. Main file ki nhi balki chocolates ki baat kar rahi thi jo apke hath ke hath me hai. Wah chocolates mere hai, toh mujhe wapas dijiye.

Rathod listening her, first blush a little bit and then shook his head. He saw her who is looking very cute with a pout. He smile at her and return back her chocolates. She excitedly took back and kept it in her pockets. She gave him a small smile and left from there. Rathod look towards her with sweet smile.

CONFERENCE ROOM
TIME:10:45AM

All were present in hall except Arjun. He went to meet commissioner with his team. Rathod was too present in hall and was reading some case file. Gauri and Liza were in forensic lab. While Sameer was with Arjun. Team where busy with their own planning when Rathod's phone rang indicating a call. He picked it up and have a conversation. All were looking at him seriously. He hang up and look at his team with seriousness.

RATHOD: Team its new case. DGP Coelho sir's daughter Shreen is missing from last afternoon. He went to police station to file a case but according to rule they can not launch FIR before 24 hours. So, yeh case hume mila hai. Hume shreen ko kaise bhi dhundhna hoga. Team back to work.

All left for investigation except Gauri, Sakshi and Disha. All reached at DGP Coelho sir's house. Ayesha and Liza were consoling Mrs Coelho. Rathod along with Chhoree and Riya went to spot where they find out Shreen's car. They collect all the clue and fingerprints and sent the car to beauro for checking up by forensic team. Soon they return. Till then, Liza and Ayesha too were able to extract some information.

They return back to beauro and stick all the information according to investigation on board. Riya recap everyone about case. Rathod asked about the car to Gauri and Liza. They inform that it will take a little bit time to come report. Ayesha along with Sakshi and Disha were trying to get information about Shreen from her friends. Shree was trying to trash her number and also tracking DGP Coelho's all numbers through a microchip which he secretly connected when they were at his home. Chhotu was helping Riya with her first field work. Both were trying to match the fingerprints to their database which they collected from Shreen's car.

All were busy in their work when suddenly Riya notice someone outside the Forensic Garage. She followed the person silently. The person was going through Shreen's car and was checking the car. Riya who was following the person saw that he was going towards her car. She assumed that he came to remove the information. She using her martial arts attack him from back as his back was facing her. He has seen her reflection in mirror immediately defence himself. He thought that she is here to wipe clues and is linked with Shreen's case. She punch him which he was unable to defend which result in breaking his nose. He kept his one hand on nose and find blood is coming. He was shocked would be an underestimate. He didn't saw her face as her face was covered with scarf which made him suspicious on her. She again try to punch him but he blocked her in such that she directly landed on his arms. For a second both were lost in their eyes but immediately realise their position. He left her but she again try to punch him hard but again he dodge her moves and block her in his arms which seems as he was back hugging her. She felt something new and suddenly her breath became little high because of closeness.

On the other hand, Chhotu who was working with Riya suddenly saw that she was missing. Its being half an hour and she didn't return. Shree and Rathod too noticed it. Trio boys decided to have a search for her as she is new here and didn't know much about it. Trio came towards forensic area and was shocked to see them in such position. On the other hand, Riya who was lost in position recall something and immediately try to push the person. He didn't burge from his position but when he noticed that she was trying to come out from his grip, he immediately left her hands. She again turn towards him and try to punch him but he hold her hand in air. She use her second hand but again same happened. Both were glaring eachother and again Riya lost in his eyes.

Trio boys who came to see Riya was shocked to see them in such position. From back side it was looking as both were about to kiss eachother. Chhoree looked at each other and then at them with shock and horrified expression whereas Rathod was somewhat happy for both of them. He look at chhoree and saw their expression and decide to disturb Riya. He called from back.

RATHOD:(sternly) Kya ho raha hai yahan?

Duo who were lost in each other herd someone and immediately seperate from their position. Riya look at her back and was surprised to see her friends and brother. She again look at person and give him a glare. Whereas person just give I don't care look to all of them. He looked at them and pass a glare to her.

RATHOD:(🤨) Kya ho raha hai yahan pe?

RIYA: Sir, yeh aadmi...(pointing towards person)

RATHOD: ACP ARJUN SURYAKANT RAWTE naam he iss aadmi ka. Aur RAWTE what's this?

ARJUN: Rathod, main yahan bas Shreen ki car check karne aaya tha aur yeh ladki (pointing towards Riya) yahan proofs mitane aayi thi.

RIYA: Aanhaa, ulta chor kautwal ko daate. Sir, yeh jhoot bol rahe hai yeh yahan khud proofs mitane aaye the.

ARJUN: Are you out of your mind or what? I'm ACP not some criminal who will try to mislead the cops. Aur agar tum yahan mere pichhe aayi thi toh apna muh(face) kyun scarf se cover kiya hai?

CHHOTU: Haa Ri, Arjun sir is correct. Wah bhala kyun saboot mitayenge? Aur tune apna face kyun cover kiya hai?

RIYA: Mujhe kya pta. Wah tujhe toh pata hai n mujhe hygiene rahna kitna pasand hai isliye idhar aane se pehle face cover kiya taki mujhe bad smell na aaye.

SHREE: Main toh bhul hi gya tha ki tu kitni hygiene freak hai. Abb tu scarf nikal sakti hai.

RATHOD: Yes Riya, please. Aur RAWTE tum bhi chalo yahan se.

RIYA: yes sir.

Arjun made faces and left from there. Rathod too left behind him leaving trio friends together. She remove her scarf and trio left from there. Arjun went to conference hall and told his analysis to team and left to meet his team. Trio boys and Rathod came in CR but didn't find Arjun there, so, Rathod asked the girls about him. To which Ayesha answer and also inform them what Arjun has told them. Rathod was happy to get very crucial clue and Riya felt guilty for assuring him.

So, this is my next chapter. I know it is short but will surely will give long chapter in upcoming updates. So, I am finally back to continue this book as I was getting request from you all to continue.

Here, I have introduced a new character Riya Mukherjee who is friend of Shree nad Chhotu and student of Sameer Rathod. The new branch of ETF will be introduced in next chapter and case will also continue.
