Kurt's POV.

Well this plan just took a massive hit. I've just gotten a mind link from the pack doctor saying that John is not allowed to do anything today and that he has to only do office work until his side is healed.

I am concerned for John. I knew he shouldn't have been up doing anything so quickly after getting injured like he did.

It got his mind off of Amelia though, so that is the only reason I allowed it. I knew I should have followed my gut and told him to stay at home.

I guess this plan will have to go on without him. Which sucks, because I could really use his help with this.

He was the one who got attacked by them in the first place. They need to see the damage they caused with that silver.

An idea then forms in my mind. I can still send images to them. I can show them what they did.

I've told Alpha Grace about all that's going to happen. She will be staying here to help guard the pack from the town.

As the hours pass and the sun begins to set I send Bète Rick and a few guards to the pack prison to grab Jim.

As I step outside onto the front porch of the pack house I spot Alpha grace as she makes her ways over to me.

" Hello Alpha Kurt. " she says.

" Hello Alpha Grace. How is John doing?" I ask.

She smiles sadly. " He's disappointed he can't help tonight. However, he's at home resting on the couch. " she said.

" Thank you for helping him. " I say.

" Anytime. " she says.

" I best be going. You sure you got everything here?" I ask.

She just smirks and raises an eyebrow at me. " Really Kurt? I am an Alpha. " she says.

I laugh. " Right, my apologies. " I say.

She just chuckles." Go on. I got it from here. " she says.

I nod thanks and leave the pack house. I meet up with the others as they leave the pack prison.

Jim with them. " Are you ready for this Jim?" I ask.

He nods. " Yes sir. " he says.

" Ok, let me send out a pack mind link and then we will head towards the border. " I say.

They nod. I then send out a mind link. ' Attention everyone. This is a pack wide announcement. I know by now you all have heard about the attack we had a while ago from humans. We are going to put a stop to it tonight. Nobody panic. We have everything under control. Just lock your doors and be prepared for anything. The second announcement. There has been a rogue attack at Alpha Lucas's pack. 30 humans are dead. If you wish to send out messages to anyone you may know from there, feel free. Until you hear from me again, everyone have a good night. '

I then look at them. " Ok, let's get this show on the road. " I say.

We start walking towards the woods. His hands were cuffed in front of him. Once we make it to the woods Bète Rick shifts and we manage to get Jim on his back.

The rest of us shift and we start running. A bunch of guards were here with us as well as Alpha Benjamin.

By the time we make it to the border the sun has fully set and the moon has risen fully.

It's light was shinning through the trees. It really was beautiful out here at night. We start to walk the borders.

Jim on full show as we walked. This way they know we want to talk. We seriously do not need anymore trouble.

We already have enough to deal with. We did this for about four hours before we decided to stop and shift back for a small break.

We brought some snacks in case we needed it. I passed a water bottle to Jim. He thanked me and drank some.

" You doing ok Alpha?" Asks Jim.

" Yeah, I'm good. " I say.

He offers me a smile. " No you're not. " he says.

I look at him with a questioning look. " Things are clearly eating at your mind Alpha. I've heard about everything that's been happening around here. Prisoners talk you know. " he says.

I nod. " What I'm saying is, you're not alone. You're new at this and I get it can be difficult, but look at your friends. They are here right now because they love their pack and they love you. They are loyal and are willing to lay down their lives for you and this pack. Sounds pretty good to me. " he says.

I smile. " Thank you Jim. I needed to hear that. " I say.

Jim grins. Seconds later we hear a snap of twigs and all of us look towards the noise.

" Jim, is that you?" Asks a voice.

Jim stepped forward. " David, yeah it's me. "

The guy stepped into the light. He held a huge rifle. He had a dagger strapped to his side and silver chains around his body.

He looked furious and surprised. " You're ok? They didn't kill you?"

" No, they didn't hurt me. They even got my arm treated. These guys are good. " says Jim.

" Guys?! They aren't guys Jim, they're freaking werewolves!! How on earth could you say they are good?!" He Snapped.

" Well for one they didn't kill me, and two, they are willing to make a deal with you and let me go. " says Jim.

" Oh really? " growled David.

" Yes, Really Dave. Alpha Kurt wants to talk to you personally. " says Jim.

" Fine, where is he? I don't see no big bad Alpha. " he snapped.

I walked forward and his eyes shifted to me. He looked me up and down before a smirk came across his lips. Seconds later he was laughing.

" No, no way this kid is the one in charge. " he laughed.

He then walked closer to me and growls were heard  all around. " Don't get any closer." Growled Bète Rick.

David stopped. " Now you look like the Alpha. " he says.

Rick smirked. " Nope, I'm the Bète. Kurt is our Alpha and you will treat him with respect. " says Rick

David looked at me. He finally stuck out his hand. " Pleasure to finally meet a werewolf Alpha. "

I was about to reach for his hand when I caught a glimpse of silver. His hands are covered in silver paint.

" What? Are you scared?" He mocked.

" No, I'm just not stupid. I see the silver paint on your hands. Nice try. " I growled.

He smirked and lowered his hand. " So what's this deal?" He asked.

" The information you were given about this pack was leaked to you by a spy. You were never supposed to have that. The deal I want to make to you is simple. You are to leave this pack, never return and never tell anyone about this place. If you do, I'll give your friend here a full pardon and he can return home with you. " I say.

He looks shocked for a second. " Wait, What do you mean pardon? He didn't commit any crimes. He's not part of your pack anyway. " says David.

" You all attempted to kill a member of my pack. He took him here captive and he was placed in jail to await trial for attempted murder. " I say.

" He's still not part of your pack. " he growled.

" Doesn't matter. He committed the crime on my pack grounds. I have the right to arrest whoever I want. " I say.

He growls in anger. " You're ok with this deal?" Asks David looking at Jim.

" Yes Dave. I have a wife and two kids I need to get back to. Please just take this deal?!" Says Jim.

David looked at me. " The one we tried to kill. Did he survive?"

" Yes he did. " I say.

He sighed in anger and looked at him. " I'm not ok with this Jim. They are monsters. They turn into giant wolves. They should all be put down. " growled David.

" Even the kids?!" I growl.

I put such power into those words David looks at me shocked. " We are. It monster David. We do have a human side. We love just like everyone else. We need to eat and drink to survive. He find mates, get married and have kids. We have lives just like yours only a little different. Yet, here you are attacking us because we can turn into a wolf. Do you even realize the damage those weapons can cause?" I say.

He shakes his head. " I'm going to send over some images to you. This is what your silver weapons can do. "

I sent him the images of John's injuries before we got them treated. David flinched back when the images started to flood his mind.

He then looked a little guilty. " That guy you hurt is only 18. He didn't deserve for that to happen to him. Please David, we just finished a pack war, we really don't need another. " I say.

He looks so lost in thought for a while. His eyes then shift over to Jim. " I am sorry about the kid. I didn't know he was that young. " says David.

" His name is John. He is also Bète Rick's son. " I say.

He winced and looked at Rick. He sighed. " Dang it Jim. " he said.

" You don't have to bring a body back to prove a werewolf exists David. " says Jim.

" When we die we turn back to human form anyway. There would be nothing to prove. " says Bète Rick.

" You have this knowledge now. You know we exist. Shouldn't that be enough without the need for further bloodshed?" I ask.

David looked angry. " What about my friend that was killed?" He asked.

" We have his body for you if you wish to take him home. John only acted out of self defense. I am sorry about your friend. " I say.

" Fine, I want his body back and I want Jim with us. We won't tell anyone else about you and we won't return again. I promise. " says David.

I smile. " Thank you David. I'll send two of my guard to retrieve the body. " I say.

I turn and nod to two guards. They nod back and take off. Shifting as they ran.

David looked stunned. " Woah. " he said.

" I know. Pretty cool the first time you see it. " I say.

He looks at me and smirks. " You're not so bad kid. You make a great leader. " he said.

I smile back at him. " Thank you David. " I Say.

We wait for a bit before the guards rush back. They didn't have a body though.

" Where is the body?" I ask.

" Sir we have a bit of a situation at the town. " says a guard as he shifted back.

I then notice the blood dripping down his shoulder. Rick and I moved at the same time. We caught him as his legs gave out.

The blood was coming from a stomach wound. We lifted his shirt and saw a bunker hole.

David and Jim crouched down. " W-we tried to fight them off. There's to many of them sir. " says the guard.

" What's going on?" I ask.

" We're under attack sir. " he said.

" Humans?" I ask.

He shakes his head. My eyes widen. " R-rogues. These ones are armed. " says the guard with a really weak breath.

He then went completely limp in our arms. He gently lay his body down.

I look at Jim. " I'm sorry. I'll get your friends body to you. I swear, but I have to protect my people. Here. " I say.

I take off his cuffs. " Go, get out of here before the rogues come. Go!!" I yell.

They nod furiously and the two humans take off into the night. All I needed to do was look at everyone before we took off running towards the pack.

We shifted and ran at fully speed. These rogues have made a major mistake in coming here tonight.

It'll be the worst mistake they every made. I'll make sure of that.
