Kurt's POV.

It's like the world around me stops when I hear Amber say those words.

She found the weapon that killed my father! How? I don't understand it. We've looked everywhere, how did she suddenly find it?

' Where are you Amber? ' I say over mind link.

' Go to my house, into the woods behind in and run far. You will soon come to a pond. I will be there waiting. ' she responds.

I take off down the steps. As I make it down Bète Rick, Alpha Conan, Alpha Grace, Cassandra and my third in command we're there.

" You four come with me. Cassandra, watch the pack house while I'm gone. Thank you. I love you. " I say quickly kissing her before running off outside with the others right behind me.

I shift the second I'm outside. They do as well and we take off as fast as we can down the streets.

' What's going on Alpha Kurt?' Says Alpha Grace.

' Amber just mind linked me. She's in the woods and just found the weapon that killed Alpha George and a dead body. ' I say.

No one says anything, but I can feel their emotions. They were angry, surprised, a bit hopeful or all of them together.

I honestly wish John was with me. Wait a minute...

' John meet me outside your house in the back yard. I will not be stopping as I pass. Shift and run next to us when I make it to you. ' I say to him over mind link.

' Yes Alpha. ' he replies. Man it's still weird to hear him call me Alpha. Heck, it's still weird to be Alpha.

After what feels like forever, we finally make it to Amber's house. We take off down the side of the house and to the back yard. John is there as his wolf and takes off running next to me.

The two of us look at each other as we run. I know he can tell his presence here just relaxes me just a bit.

I follow Amber's instructions and soon enough we appear at this big open field and just like she said, there's a big pond there.

I finally spot Amber. I run next to her and right away shift back to my human form.

I drop down next to her and look. She looks so freaked out. I look down at the weapon. Sitting in the ground before me is a silver pistol. Literally the entire thing is silver.

I look at the others. Alpha Conan reaches into his pocket and brings out  rubber gloves.

He hands it to me. I put them on and pick up the gun. I press the button that releases the magazine, I then pull it back and release the last bullet in it.

I set it down and pick up the magazine. It's only missing two all together. The one that killed my father and the one that killed that other person Amber found.

" Where did you find this?" I ask.

" It the water. I was looking in the water and when the sun shifted I spotted it. I swam down and got it, but I wasn't expecting to find it here." She says.

" What lead you here?" I ask.

" I was sitting in the woods. Connor's spot, my wolf was going crazy to be let out. Something made me walk over here and I finally did let her out. I smelt the body before I found the gun. The bodies over there, in the tress. " she says pointing to the edge of the woods.

" This is so confusing. " I say.

" How so?" Says Alpha Grace getting down by me while the others went to check out the body.

" I honestly wasn't expecting to find the murder weapon. I just wanted to find traces of silver. Just a trail to see who may be in on this. This though, I would have thought whoever did it would have been smart enough to take it back with them when they left. " I say.

" Maybe it wasn't the person who did it that disposed of the weapon. " says Alpha Grace.

" She's right. It must have been whoever helped this person. " says Amber.

I just nod along. I still can't believe it. The only reason I knew how to clear the gun was because my father taught me how a long while back. He figured it was best to know everything since I was to be the future Alpha. It paid off.

I load the gun back up, but I don't cock it. I see a safety switch and hit that. Thankfully the rubber gloves keep the silver from hurting my hands.

The one smart thing whoever got rid of the gun did was throwing it in the water. It may be near impossible to get fingers prints off the gun now. Heck, we mainly just rely purely on scent with these types of things, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

I walk over to where the others are. They have uncovered the body. " He was from my pack. " says Alpha Grace once she got a look at the body.

We look at her. " He has a tough life. Was rejected by his mate the second she saw him. She made up lies about him, horrible ones and his own pack best him near death. They banished him from his pack and he wandered alone for two weeks before he came across my pack. He was only 16 at the time. The girl that rejected him had been the Alpha's daughter. We took him in. He insisted on helping. He found a wife back at my pack. They had three children together. He disappeared a while after the fight. Said he needed to get back home so I let him go. I don't know why I did. He must have found out who did this and got shot because of it. His death and Alpha George's death will not be in vain. We will find whoever did this and bring them down. " says Alpha Grace.

" I couldn't agree with you more. " I said.

We took the body back to the pack house and bagged him up. She was having her Bète leave tomorrow so he would take the body back with him for his family. 

The bulletin was removed though. We then went into the pack meeting room to get ready for the assembly.

Crap, this has been a crazy day. I sure hope it gets better from here.
