Okay guys, this is the one I've been waiting for! I hope you enjoy as much as I did! :)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few hours passed and before Jamie realized it the meat tent was on fire. She wrapped her arms around Octavia and pushed the girl from the tent, glancing back to make sure Murphy got out too.

"Fire!"

"Go! Go! Go!"

"Come on!"

All the surrounding delinquents were yelling things to each other but Jamie knew it was hopeless. They didn't have the water to put the fire out quick enough. She sank to the ground with Octavia and patted her back as they both coughed, trying to get the smoke out of their lungs.

"Are you okay?"

Jamie looked up as Bellamy ran to them, worry clear in his features. They both nodded a reply, still coughing.

"This is all your fault! We told you it was too much wood!" Murphy screamed out, lunging at the boy from earlier.

"Get the hell away from me!" The boy replied, eye swollen from getting punched by Jamie and Bellamy.

"Hey, hey! Stop! Save it for the grounders." Bellamy told Murphy, pushing him back slightly.

Murphy rolled his eyes and shook his head. "What, now that you and Jamie both got your punches in now we're saving it for the grounders?"

"Yeah, you got a problem with that?" Bellamy stood straighter, looking directly at Murphy.

"Well, now what the hell are we gonna do? That was all the food!" Octavia yelled out, climbing to her feet with Jamie's help.

Clarke looked at Jamie before turning to Bellamy. "Any idea what happened?"

"Murphy says that Del kept feeding the fire, mostly because Octavia told him it was a bad idea."

Clarke sighed and shook her head. "Well we have some wild onions and nuts in the dropship. It's only enough to last us maybe one or two weeks. What's left here?"

Bellamy's eyes scanned the burned tent and he shook his head. "Nothing. It all burned."

Clarke sighed and shook her head. "Then we have to hunt. Anyone we can spare goes out."

Bellamy's eyes widened and he glanced at Jamie. "With the whole grounder army out there?"

Clarke shrugged in reply. "We can't defend ourselves if we're starving."

Jamie looked at Octavia. "Stay here and keep an eye on things okay?"

Bellamy turned to Jamie and shook his head. "No, I don't want you going out there."

"It wouldn't be very fair to keep one of your best hunters here just to keep her safe. I'll be fine, Bell." She lightly patted his shoulder before retreating to the weapons tent with Clarke. She glanced over her shoulder to find Bellamy watching after her with a frown prominent on his face before following them.

"Each group takes someone with a gun and they're for killing grounders, not food. We don't have the ammo. Use the spears for hunting. Get what you can. Be back by nightfall. No one stays out after dark." Bellamy told everyone, looking around the group.

Clarke grabbed the gun only to have it yanked from her hand.

"You've got to be kidding me. We only get one gun and you're taking it?"

Clarke laughed at Jamie's expression as she pushed the gun into her belt, right beside her knife. "I just don't know what I was thinking." Clarke replied sarcastically, reaching for a spear.

"Yeah, you won't need the spear either but I guess you have to make it look like you're pulling your weight right?" Jamie waggled her eyebrows at Clarke with a grin on her face while Clarke shook her head.

"Hey Clarke, Jamie, you guys alone? You maybe want to go together?" Jamie turned to see Myles, one of the younger, more annoying boys standing there with a smile on his face.

"Sure, I'll get some gear." Clarke replied with a smile while Jamie looked around the tent uninterested.

Finn approached the girls with a small smile as Clarke grabbed a few more things. "You ready to go?"

"I don't think so." Clarke replied quickly.

Finn arched a brow at Jamie and she shrugged in response before he turned back to Clarke. "Come on. I'm a good tracker. You're lousy with a spear but you're sneaky. Along with Jamie, who is the best hunter we have, we'd make a pretty great team."

Myles walked up beside Jamie with a big grin as he looked at the girls. "Hey, partners, we're wasting daylight. Oh, Finn, you're joining the band?" Myles asked, looking at Finn with an inquisitive expression.

Finn smirked and shrugged. "Sure."

Myles smiled and fell into step with Jamie. "Haven't really got a chance to hang with you guys much. Hey, do you even know how I got arrested on the Ark?"

Jamie internally groaned and shook her head at the boy as Finn glanced at Clarke. "I'm dying to hear about it."

"Jamie! Wait!"

She turned to see Bellamy quickly making his way towards them, eyes quickly scanning their little group. "What's up Bell?"

He grabbed her arm and pulled her away from the trio but they all continued watching the pair. "Don't go. We could really use your help here." His eyes dropped to the ground nervously as he spoke and his hands twisted together.

Jamie sighed and crossed her arms over her chest. "Are you saying that because you need my help here or are you saying that because you don't want me going out? Because we shouldn't be out long if I go with them." She arched a brow when he looked back up at her and offered him a small smile.

"I'm saying that I don't want you to go out there when there's a lot of grounders just waiting for us to come out...I already lost you once. I can't lose you again." His voice had dropped as he nearly whispered his confession and her heart ached at the honesty in his words.

She wrapped her arms around him in a hug and he quickly returned it. "I'll always come back to you." She whispered, lightly kissing his neck before pulling away from him.

Bellamy's eyes flickered up to the trio before returning to her. "Okay, just please be careful. And come back before dark."

She nodded and turned back to the group, blushing when Clarke playfully elbowed her.

They trekked through the woods for several hours listening to Myles drone on until Jamie finally snapped. "Hey, Myles, have you noticed we haven't seen a damn thing out here?"

"Yeah! I thought it was pretty crazy."

She turned to him with her arms crossed over her chest. "Well, funny thing is, animals know to avoid humans. So...while you've been talking our ears off you've also been running the animals we came out to hunt away. So, can you please just talk very, very quietly or not at all? At least until we catch something?"

His eyes widened and he nodded eagerly. "I'm sorry, I forgot. And here I am embarrassing myself in front of the camp's best hunter."

"So, Spunky..." Finn looked at her with a grin and she immediately shook her head. "Don't start Space Walker."

"But we're all dying to know what's going on with you two!"

Jamie blushed again, looking up to find Finn and Clarke intensely staring at her. She groaned but a grin appeared on her face regardless. "I don't know. I really don't."

The two smirked at each other before deciding to give Jamie a break. They continued on in silence for a while until they heard something nearby. They all froze, searching for the source of the noise. Finn bent down to analyze some tracks with Clarke while Jamie hovered over Finn's shoulders.

"One of those scaly panther things?" Myles asked quietly.

"Boar." Finn replied, leaning in closer to the tracks with a confused expression.

"Good because that panther meat is nasty but I could eat a whole boar by myself, no joke. You know what the best part is of the boar? It's gonna sound gross."

Clarke held up her hand as Finn frowned. "Myles, quiet for a second. What is it?"

"These tracks, they're perfect." Finn's eyes shifted up to Jamie's and the blonde frowned, adding, "too perfect."

Finn's eyes widened and he looked back at Clarke. "We're the ones being hunted."

Clarke and Jamie both stood and looked around the small clearing. "We have to go." Jamie mumbled.

Clarke shook her head before looking back at Finn. "I don't see anything."

From out of her peripheral Jamie noticed two arrows fly through the air, both hitting Myles. One hit the boy in his leg and the other hit his chest. Jamie ran to him immediately, trying to help him. Clarke moved to join her cousin but Finn pulled her back. "Come on, we have to leave him!" He gestured for Jamie to follow but a grounder jumped from behind a tree and nailed Jamie in the face with a club, turning and hitting Clarke almost instantaneously. Both crumpled to the ground, leaving Finn to face the grounder himself.

When Jamie woke up she found herself completely alone. Her brow furrowed in confusion and she winced in pain from the action. She hesitantly lifted her hand to her face and when she pulled her hand away she realized she had been bleeding. Her eyes searched the area around her as best as she could in the pitch black night to find no trace of Clarke, Finn, or even Myles. Panic built in her chest as she realized they were most likely taken by grounders and her only chance to find them would be by returning to camp and hoping for the best. She ran and stumbled through the woods as fast as she could, hoping she was at least heading towards camp. Everything passed by her in a blur as she ducked under branches and jumped over fallen trees trying to reach camp as quickly as possible.

She stopped after a few hours and rested against a tree as sweat slowly dripped down her face and soaked her clothes. She desperately needed water but it had been in her bag that she couldn't find when she woke up. Her breathing was labored and she knew with as tired and thirsty as she was she wouldn't be getting back to camp anytime soon. She sank to the ground and took a nap, hoping the sleep would help her keep going knowing she didn't have much of an option.

When she woke up she was startled to find herself being carried by someone. She instantly tensed and started fighting the person carrying her until he spoke. "It's Lincoln!" He put her down, keeping his hold on her arms to support her.

She smiled and wrapped her arms around him thankful that she hadn't been captured by grounders and even better, someone had found her that would help her get back to camp. "I'm so happy to see you." She whispered, her throat hoarse from dehydration.

"You're lucky Jamie. There were grounders nearby and if they would have found you..." He shook his head and patted her shoulder before arching a brow at her. "Are you okay to walk?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just don't know where I'm going." She looked around and frowned when she didn't recognize anything.

He nodded before walking away. "Come on, I'll take you as far as I can."

"Thanks Lincoln. I really appreciate your help." She jogged up to walk beside him before something hit her. "Did you see Finn or Clarke out there?"

He visibly tensed before he nodded. "I'm going back to help them as soon as I get you back. We only have a little bit further to go so I'll be able to get to them in time to help."

"You've been with them?"

"Yes. They sent me to get you. They're safe. For now at least." He looked down at her briefly before looking straight ahead.

"Hey, thanks for helping us so much. We wouldn't still be alive if it wasn't for you."

A light smile appeared on his face and he nodded again. "It's not just Octavia I care about you know." He glanced at her and she smiled again. "Okay, you're just going to follow this path, straight through, for about half an hour maybe a little longer. You should start to recognize things along the way though. Just get back to camp and warn your people that they're coming. Okay?"

She nodded before hugging him again. "Thank you. Be careful."

They parted and he ran off in the opposite direction, much faster than she would have thought possible with all of his gear.

After dragging herself through the woods for another hour she finally started to recognize some things. She let out a big breath of relief when she saw the familiar gates to the camp and heard someone shout out, "Jamie! It's Jamie!"

The gate opened slowly but once it was open enough, Jasper ran through. He wrapped his arms around her tightly and pulled her into him. "Oh my God! You scared the hell out of me! Are you okay?" He pulled back slightly to look down at her as Octavia raced out to them.

"Jay!" She had unshed tears in her eyes as she pulled Jamie into a tight hug. "Where have you been? We've been searching for you since last night!"

"I was a few miles away with no water or anything." When she was about to tell Octavia about Lincoln several others joined them.

"At least bring her inside the gate."

Her eyes flickered up to Bellamy's as he approached them and she smiled at the relief on his face. She slowly pulled away from Octavia and Bellamy took the opportunity to grab her arms and pull her to him. He wrapped his strong arms around her as her arms slid around his chest. "Hi Bell." She whispered against him.

"Welcome back Angel." He pressed a light kiss to her forehead before shifting them towards the gate. "Let's get you inside." He released her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, guiding her to the gate.

He pushed through the crowd with her at his side. "Come on guys, move! She needs to get rehydrated and then you guys can talk to her. Just give her a little time before you ambush her." He had a small smile on his face as he led her through the crowd of delinquents, all happy to see her back.

Bellamy led her to his tent and immediately shoved a bottle of water in her hands. "Drink and we can talk."

She eagerly took a big drink and sank down to his cot relieved to be sitting down. She didn't realize this day would have taken so much out of her. After gathering a wash cloth and another bottle, Bellamy sat down next to her, his arm against hers. "We found Myles a few miles out with your bag and no trace of anyone else. You, Finn, and Clarke all seemed to have disappeared. We were actually getting ready to go looking for you guys." He said everything in one breath and turned to watch her as he spoke. He gently pressed the damp cloth to her head, cleaning the dried blood. "He told us what happened and that the grounders took off with you." Another moment passed in silence as she took another drink. He finished cleaning her head and tossed the cloth into a pile of his clothes before turning back to her. He gently grabbed her hand and laced his fingers through hers. "I was so worried about you." He nearly whispered, watching his thumb rub circles on her hand.

She took another big swig of water before looking at him. "Well, I'm fine now. And we don't have to look for Finn and Clarke, they'll be coming back soon."

"How do you know?"

She tensed a bit, sighing before she spoke. "Lincoln brought me back and told me that he was going to help them, that he had seen them."

He tensed as well, not expecting to hear that. "The grounder? You trust him now?"

She sighed when she heard the anger in his tone before turning to look at him. "Bell, he saved me. Again. He literally carried me back here and then took off to help Finn and Clarke. We can trust him. We at least owe him that."

He held her gaze a moment and she watched his eyes soften before he nodded reluctantly. "If you trust him then I'll try to."

Jamie blushed and smiled lightly. "Thank you." She whispered quietly, reaching up to brush a few curls from his face. He reacted instantly, grabbing her hand with his and bringing it to his lips. He brushed a light kiss on one of her knuckles, eyes flickering up to meet hers. She sucked in a sharp breath before her hand moved to his neck and grabbed a few of his curls at the base of his neck. He wrapped his free arm around her and pulled her closer to him, eyes drifting down to her lips. Her heart started pounding in her chest and she could feel his doing the same as his chest pressed against hers. She released his hand to wrap her arm around his neck, joining her other one and his hand dropped around her waist.

His hot breath fanned across her face and she actually moaned lightly as her eyes fixated on his. He closed the gap between them and brushed his soft lips against hers. Time seemed to stand still as their lips met and both were eager to pull the other one closer. He shifted and pulled her into his lap so she was straddling him, pressed flush against him. She moved both hands into his hair as his hands ran down her back. He finally brushed his tongue along her bottom lip, asking for permission to enter. She smiled lightly and gasped at the contact of his warm tongue and he was able to deepen the kiss. Chills shot through her when his tongue skimmed across hers and she gasped again at the sheer pleasure of his touch.

"Bellamy!"

They reluctantly separated as Miller stuck his head in the tent, eyes widening when he saw them. "Myles needs help."

"We'll be right there." Bellamy replied with a breathy voice, watching as Miller retreated. He looked back at Jamie with a small smile, his hands moving to grasp her hips. She placed her hand against his cheek lightly and brushed under his eye. "You haven't slept for a while, have you?"

His eyes drifted down to her hand and he shrugged. "I couldn't sleep with you gone."

She wrapped her arms around his neck once more and hugged him tightly, placing a light kiss on his cheek before climbing off his lap. She pulled him to his feet, grabbed his hand and laced her fingers through his.

He brushed the hair off of her face and he arched a brow as his eyes met hers. "You up for this?"

She nodded and together they made their way to the dropship.

They walked in to find Murphy scurrying around, trying to get everything Jamie would need to help Myles. He smiled lightly at her when she walked in and gestured to the table Myles was on. "Jamie, I um...I gathered some supplies I thought you might need."

She glanced around and smiled at him lightly. "Thank you Murphy."

Bellamy let out a muffled growl. "Get out of here Murphy."

Jamie looked up at their leader and shrugged sympathetically. "He can stay if he wants to. I might need the help." She spoke quietly so Murphy wouldn't hear but Bellamy had already started shaking his head.

Bellamy's gaze briefly shifted to Murphy and he narrowed his eyes, his hand still gripping hers tightly. "Octavia and Jasper can help you then." He released her, turned and waited for Murphy expectantly and he sullenly followed him out, nodding to Jamie as he passed her.

Jasper helped Jamie fix up Myles' wounds before the two headed out to the tent Jasper and Monty shared. Jasper had told her about Monty while they worked on Myles and needless to say she hadn't taken the news well. They both walked with their heads down and eyes on the ground as they thought about their missing friend. Jasper grabbed Jamie's hand as they continued on only to be stopped by Raven.

"Jamie, are you busy? I mean, can I borrow you for a minute?"

Jamie released Jasper and he continued on to his tent while Jamie turned to Raven. "What's up?"

Raven's face was contorted as she fiddled with her hands, eyes on the ground. "I wanted to talk to you. While you were gone...I um..." She cleared her throat and shook her head slightly. "I was weak and desperate and tried to hook up with Bellamy." She mumbled the last statement in one sharp breath, never meeting Jamie's gaze. When she finally met the blonde's eyes she held her hands up as if in surrender. "Nothing happened. I mean I kissed him but he pushed me away immediately. And I'm so sorry I even tried anything I just..." Raven's face scrunched in pain as she spoke and her breathing came in short gasps.

Jamie watched the mechanic struggle before pulling her into her for a hug. Raven froze when Jamie's arms circled around her but she eventually wrapped her arms around Jamie in return. "I don't understand. You're not mad?"

Jamie sighed and released her, pulling back to look at her. "No, Raven I'm not mad. You have a lot going on right now and...I don't know. Bell was here. I get it."

Raven watched her with a guarded expression before she slowly nodded and a small smile appeared on her face. "Thank you. I really...it means a lot to me that you're forgiving me."

"Raven."

They both looked up when Bellamy approached and Jamie mumbled a quiet bye before darting to Jasper's tent. When she walked in she stopped in her tracks. Jasper had pulled everything of Monty's out of his bag and scattered it around the tent. "I know it looks crazy I just had to do something. I was looking for anything that might help us find him."

Jamie's eyes roamed over what was left of Monty. She nodded to Jasper before sinking down on Monty's cot. "Nothing here can help us Jazz. We both know what happened out there."

Jasper sat beside her and dropped his head onto her shoulder. He grabbed her hand and held it tightly. "We have to find him. Bring him home."

"We will. Clarke and Finn too. I'm sure they're all together." Jamie whispered, eyes settling on a picture of Monty, Jasper and her when they were six. Their toothless smiles all practically matched and they wore similar outfits to one another since they all thought it would be cool to match.

"Hey, Jamie?"

She turned when Raven walked in with a timid smile. "Can you come help me with these landmines? I need someone familiar with our neck of the woods. Jasper, you'd probably have the background we need too."

They both nodded and followed Raven out, walking close to one another. Jamie's eyes roamed over the camp and she tensed when she noticed how crazy everything seemed. Everyone was still working, doing their jobs, but there didn't appear to be much order.

A few hours later Jamie was digging another hole for a landmine, focusing as best as she could on the task at hand. They were pretty temperamental so she had to be careful.

"Come on! These foxholes aren't gonna build themselves!" Bellamy's voice echoed in the distance as Jamie moved to the next landmine.

"Better hope those landmines work. All the gunpowder we're wasting, we could be making more grenades."

Jamie glanced over her shoulder as Bellamy approached her and Raven. His eyes searched the ground they were working on from several feet away before he met Jamie's gaze. She quickly looked back down at what she was doing as Raven replied, "you want to come over here and test one?"

Jamie smirked and saw Raven grin at her out of her peripheral. "Cute. I need this entire section mined by morning. Then you finish the south field."

Both girls stopped what they were doing and looked up at him. Raven glanced at Jamie with wide eyes before shaking her head at Bellamy. "I told you, we're going after Monty in the morning."

"And I told you nobody leaves this camp." He turned to walk away and Raven quickly got to her feet. "I'm talking to you!"

When Bellamy turned back to face her, Jamie climbed to her feet and approached him. "We can't just abandon our people. You want to lead them, show them you give a damn." The blonde's voice was fierce as she spoke to him and he had a hard time holding her gaze especially after the kiss they shared.

There was a gunshot from the wall and they all turned at the sound.

"What the hell was that?" Bellamy yelled, rushing over to the boy who fired. "What the hell is the matter with you?"

The kid shrank away from him, still holding the weapon in a tight grasp. "I'm sorry man. I fell asleep. I've been on watch all day."

"We've all been on watch all day! That bullet was one less dead grounder!"

Octavia glanced at Jamie and they both stepped closer to Bellamy. "Bell, you're scaring people." Octavia told him with a cautious tone.

"They should be scared!" He yelled back at her. He turned towards the crowd that began to form. "The bomb on the bridge bought us some time to prepare but that time is up! The grounders are out there right now, waiting for us to leave and picking us off one by one when we do!" His eyes looked everywhere but at Jamie as he continued talking. "Clarke, Finn, and Monty are gone. Probably dead, and if you want to be next I can't stop you but no guns are leaving this camp! This camp is the only thing keeping us alive! Get back to work." He turned away from the group, avoiding the pained eyes of Raven, Jamie, and Jasper.

Jasper looped his arm through Jamie's and pulled her to the dropship after Bellamy. When they walked in he sighed, not turning around to face them. "Don't you think I want to go after them too?"

"If it was you out there you think Monty, Clarke, or Finn would hide behind these walls?" Jasper asked.

Jamie shook her head angrily at their leader, arm still looped through Jasper's. "You have no right to assume they're dead. Especially after what I told you about Lincoln!"

Bellamy tensed and slowly turned towards them. He wasn't expecting Jamie to come to him. "No, they'd go after me. Then they'd be dead too. I am doing what I think is right for the group. If you're right about Lincoln then we shouldn't go looking for them anyway."

"It's funny, you didn't think that way when Octavia and Jamie went missing." Jasper replied, shifting closer to Jamie. They both moved to the ladder to climb up and Bellamy raised a hand as if to stop them. "Where are you going?"

Jasper mock saluted him before replying. "More gunpowder for your minefield sir."

Jamie narrowed her eyes at him before shaking her head and following Jasper up the ladder.

About forty minutes later Jamie climbed down the ladder to run some of the gunpowder out to Raven and she watched in horror as Murphy pulled a plastic bag off of Myles' head. Her eyes widened when she noticed how pale Myles was and his chest was no longer moving up and down. Murphy killed him. And she had just witnessed it.
