Y/n's pov

Seoyeon told me yesterday that she's gonna throw a party tonight . She asked me - no told me I had to be there at all costs . Of course I agreed . It's just a party right? I also needed to loosen up a bit because of the pressure due to the finals.

Therefore , now I was standing right in front of her house wearing a simple lilac A-line dress which reached just above my knees hugging my waist perfectly. Moreover, it was not so revealing , just an off shoulder dress - perfect for my liking and my hairs were falling down below my shoulders in loose curls .

I could hear the loud music blasting through her house , just standing outside it gave me the idea this party was not a single bit like the ones I've always attended . They were mostly business realated events but this one was the real deal , the actual party which I've never experienced in the nineteen years of my life.

" Let's go y/n-ah , I parked the car in Seoyeon's garage " the boy whom I was waiting for, said walking towards me. He was looking so effortlessly ethereal and charismatic even in the simple white tee and blue denims he was wearing.

I immediately regretted my decision as soon as I stepped inside , the party was even wilder than that what I've imagined before coming here. The people were swarming all over the place . The number of people present there was enough to tell that how much of a social butterfly Seoyeon really was. Passing the swarming crowd from the hallway, we somehow made our way to the main hall . And as soon as I reached there , my eyes popped out of their sockets because of the scene that unfolded in front of me - a couple on the couch in front of us was mooching off their faces like no more tomorrow right in front of everyone. But when I saw my surroundings with a little more detail I realised that the couple on the couch wasn't the only one. I scrunched my nose a little at the sight . Who does even likes to see other people eating up each other's faces !?

" Don't mind them , this is a common scene at the parties everywhere" Eunwoo said as he if he had already sensed my discomfort.

" Can't they just get a room" I hissed.

" Helloooo my folks !" a familiar voice cooed behind us and we turned around to come face to face with Seoyeon grinning widely.

" Oh my ! Who gave you the right to look so pretty!? " She commented dramatically as soon as she laid her eyes on me.

" It was a lil bit cringy , but thanks anyways" I chuckled.

" I know right. Ahh , anyways let's go to the other side , it's quite loud and packed here , right?" She said and we followed her to the living room. Others were already there, laughing their asses off on I don't know what joke .

" Noona you're looking so beautiful!!" Sanha stated as soon as he saw me.

" Thanks , I guess?" I laughed.

" Y/n , do you wanna drink something?" Seoyeon asked me as I plopped down on the couch.

" As in alcohol!?" I blurted out immediately as I remember the the people consuming liquor and dancing crazily outside .

" I was talking about juices or something. But do you wanna try?" She giggled.

" What no ! "

" Oh come on , what's the meaning of partying without having even a drop of alcohol in your system !?"

" This is not a great idea maybe"

" Oh gurl ! Loosen up a bit . Don't worry I'll just bring something light , yeah ?" She said and hopped away even without bothering to listen my answer. She appeared again with a lot of drinks on a tray and winked.

" Here are our wine spritzers and vodka shots " She exclaimed.

" Ya'll are gonna drink again , I guess I'll get some coke for myself then" Sanha got up sulking away and everybody laughed at his childish behavior. Of course, they can't let a seventeen year old kid drink alcohol.

" Cheers!" everyone exclaimed before drinking the vodka shots in one go except me , I looked at them in awe still holding the vodka in my hand.

" Give it a try , c'mon" Moonbin cheered.

I hesitantly lifted the liquor upto my lips and closed my eyes tightly before gulping the whole liquid in one go like them. I felt a burning sensation at the back of my throat as the vodka ran down my system and a bitter taste lingered on my tongue.

" Holy shit !" I coughed a bit.

I didn't liked the drink at first because of it's lingering bitterness afterwards but the second shot made me to crave for more. I didn't knew my alcohol tolerance because it was my first time , so Eunwoo stopped me after the third shot but I whined for more. With the alcohol in my system, I started feeling so lightheaded. It felt like I was flying in the clear sky , free from any worries.

" Let's dance!" Seoyeon voiced.

" Dance! Let's gooooo " I giggled like a small girl , I wasn't drunk but still the vodka made me loosen up completely.

I looked around me as the people swayed their bodies with the beats , completely wasted and soaked up in sweat. I saw Seoyeon and Moonbin already dancing between the pool of bodies . Poor them , they think none of us have noticed their suspicious behaviour these days, just by looking at them right now , I'm sure something is definitely going on between them .

" Aren't you coming? " Eunwoo stretched his hand in front of me for me to grab it, which I did gladly. I looked around again when I couldn't find the others . " The boys probably went to search partners for themselves or must be playing around " Eunwoo shrugged casually when I asked him .

Eunwoo took my hand and placed it on his shoulder and his rested on my waist sending shivers down my spine while our other hands were laced together as we started swaying on the music slowly. I looked up at his eyes and my breath hitched when I realised how close our faces were. Due to his close proximity and the way he looked at me , I could feel my stomach doing flip - flops millions of times. I was becoming a nervous wreck and felt weak at my knees due to which I stumbled forward and collided into his chest . Shoot , it made the situation even more worse than before. I gulped harshly , our bodies were now sticking with each other not leaving an inch between us.

" Are you okay?" He whispered in a raspy and rag voice. Holy crap ! I was suddenly feeling so hot cuz the heat was suddenly rushing throughout my viens. I nodded trying not to look at him but eventually I found myself staring at those deep orbs. I could even feel his breath fanning over my face now . I don't know for how long I had been staring at those eyes , I could feel myself drowning in them even more with the every second passing by.

But I was snapped out of my daze when the music stopped in between abrubtly and I immediately broke our eye contact. I excused myself stepping away from him and ran to the restroom , leaving him standing there confused.

I needed to breathe , even the alcohol inside my system wasn't helping me now . The whole scene was replaying in my head again and again making me go crazy. Why am I feeling like this ?
My heart was thumping so loudly that anyone could hear it easily. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath , but even that wasn't of any help.

" It's alright y/n , it's nothing " I murmured to myself.

" What's nothing?" A voice spoke out of nowhere which startled me , I turned around to see Seoyeon leaning on the doorframe.

" Is it about what just happened outside?" She said and my head snapped towards her immediately and my eyes widened.

" Oh gurl , you two were having a moment out there, do you think anyone didn't noticed what was going on , huh? " she smirked.

" I-it was n-nothing " I voiced looking away.

" Woww , now we're lying to my face , are we?" She said sarcastically.

" Arghhh I don't know , I'm going nuts myself right now !" I stomped on the tiled floor , running my hand through my loosely curled locks frustratingly.

" Relax y/n " Seoyeon said in a calm voice now.

" How can I ? I'm feeling so confused and frustrated right now ? Why am I feeling like this!" I cried burying my face in my palms.

" Oh gurl , it's nothing, you just don't realise your feelings that's why you're going frantic right now. Calm down first, yeah?" She said as she held my shoulders. But her words were only made me even more confused

" W-what do you mean? What f-feelings?"

" Feelings for Eunwoo."

" Wh-what!?"

" Relax y/n , give yourself some time. You'll figure out everything soon."

" I don't understand ."

" Y/n you're feeling like this because you like him , It's clearly visible in your eyes. "

" I l-like him?"

" Yeah , but you need to realise it yourself first."

" B-but we're just friends "

" So does that mean you can't like him? Of course you can y/n !"

" There's a lot on my mind right now. I'll step out of the house for a bit , kay?" I murmured in a low voice before walking out.

I came out of house in the open lawn. I looked up at the night sky covered with twinkling stars. I closed my eyes for a few moments breathing in the fresh air to relax myself before opening them again . I stood there in the utter silence as the night breeze brushed my body. I processed Seoyeon's words one again , do I really like him? My heartbeats always increase when he's near me, it doesn't happens with others . I feel a lot of things because of him which I've never felt , he makes me happy , he always comforts me when I'm going through something bad. Does all that mean I like him?

I was drowned down deep in my thoughts but the sudden shuffling of footsteps alerted me. I saw a girl and a boy with a very familiar back standing there in front of me. They didn't noticed that I was also standing there. I was going to walk away until I heard the voice which is very familiar to me. And without even looking at his face, I knew who it belonged to .What is he doing with that girl ? Who's she?

My eyes widened in shock when the girl suddenly threw her arms around his body out of the blue. Seeing another girl wrapped around him wasn't a enjoyable sight to see , I could feel a sudden pang of pain hitting right through my chest and I clenched my jaw.

" I like you so much , can't you give me a chance?" I heard the girl say.

But hearing what he said next felt like someone had stabbed me with a knife right at my heart thousands of times." I already like someone else , I'm sorry."

Here I was going frantic over what happened inside , trying to figure out if I really like him and he just said that he already likes someone else. How can I be so stupid to think that I like the guy who already likes someone else. I think it was just me who was feeling lost and confused, he don't even see me as a girl. It's for the better anyways , I'm glad I didn't harboured on my feelings towards him for long. I'll get over it , it's just because we're together almost everytime , right?

I was going to walk away but he suddenly turned back and now he was facing me . I saw how his eyes widened to see me there. I didn't wanted to confront him right now when I was already a mess , so I turned my heels and I walked out of the main gate of Seoyeon's house instead of going back inside. I heard him calling my name but I kept on waking, ignoring him. I could feel the hot tears streaming down my face as I walked down the road cluelessly. I regretted coming to this party for the first time tonight. I heard the footsteps nearing me , so I quickened my pace even more while wiping my stained cheeks.

" Y/n , stop !" I was suddenly turned around by my wrist harshly as his tall frame was towering now me but I didn't wanted to look up at his face.

" I want to go back , leave me alone " I stated coldly, my voice void of any emotion .

" No , we need to talk " he said sternly.

" But I don't want to , I can't right now " I shouted this time looking straight in his eyes.

" Y/n you need to listen to me please!" He took a step closer holding me by my shoulders.

" Eunwoo I don't think I'm in the state to talk to you right now. There's a lot of stuff on my mind already, please - " I couldn't even complete what I was saying , my brain had stopped functioning when I felt his lips hovering over mine. Everything was blurred out and the time seemed to stop right there, the way he has smashed his lips against mine gave me goosebumps and the shivers ran down my spine. I froze right there without even blinking my eyes once .
