It was a gorgeous night out as Natalie and Blurr were on their "patrol". However not one of them made a sound to each other.

That was until Natalie purposefully slammed on the brakes.

Blurr: WHAT WAS THAT FO-

Natalie: *puts the zip it hand out* why did you kidnap me?

Blurr was taken aback by her sudden calmness that he couldn't really respond.

Natalie: You know that it is treason to kidnap a princess.

Blurr: I AM NOT KIDNAPPING Y-

Natalie: stop yelling and be an adult for once.

Blurr: I AM AN AD- *he pauses and takes a deep breath* look I wasn't trying to kidnap you.. I just needed an excuse to not train with Heatwave.

Natalie: that's understandable.

Blurr: really?!

Natalie: well of course! Heatwave is an absolute hothead! And when it comes to training he makes you WORK. Like wow Heatwave simma down a little why don'tcha?

The pair erupted into extreme laughter. For once they were actually bonding.

Blurr: *wheezing* finally something we both agree on!

Natalie smiled at the racecar while letting go of the brake. The duo continued on their patrol whilst talking about things they both find annoying.

But then everything stopped when the pair drove up one of the many cliffs from Griffin Rock that had a fantastic view of the moon and the sea. Natalie climbed out of the car.

Natalie: whoa.. I've never seen such a gorgeous view before.

Blurr: me either.

The racecar transformed and sat on the ground near the edge of the cliff. Natalie made her way toward him and stood next to his leg. Blurr smiled and lifted the human up and placed her on his shoulder.

Blurr: I thought this would be a better view.

Natalie: it's perfect. *she leaned her head against Blurr's*

Blurr couldn't move. He was in shock that she was so close to him. He started tensing up. Natalie could feel this.

Natalie: Blurr are you okay? You seem pretty tense.

Blurr: n-no, I mean yes! I-I'm fine! *his servos started fidgeting*

Natalie: you're not used to this I assume?

Blurr: what?

Natalie: having a partner. Being close to someone. I can tell this is new to you.

Blurr: you are NOT my partner.

Natalie: oh really?

Blurr blushed. This was the closest he has ever been to another being in just under an hour! He could see why she said that they are partners.

Natalie: we will be great partners. I'm sure of it! It will help us become great rescuers!

Blurr: *smiles* yeah..

The pair continued to gaze upon the beautiful night sky, still conversing on things that they have in common.

Everything will be great...
