Bridge's POV

When I was younger my powers started to take a toll on my life. Every people I came cross with are fear of being close to me or try to get to know me in a way. Because of the ability to read their minds an that I can see things that no body normally can't see and even since then I shut everybody out of my life, so there wouldn't be hurt or be intimidating of me.

Stills one day at a park three bullies whom always for unknown reason pick on me for being different. One kid decided out of kindness to help me stand up to them and her name Arianna Martin the smartest girl in the block.

Flashback
10/9/09

They were afraid of him. He knew it. Over time they would grow accustomed
to him in strange ways, but it never happened. When he get older he know it would only get worse the hostility and their fear. He wish he can show the power that he have to help people in need and show them how useful it is to to have them. As it was he ignored them, and for the most part, they ignored him.

Bridge whom is minding his own business practices his handstand under a tree that he always goes to be at peace. A girl swinging on the swing sit with her head back as the wind blow hitting her face, he watch her smiling at her. The girl felt someone was watched her and suddenly she look at Bridge's an saw him smile at her and she replied smiling back at him.

All suddenly he was push down to the grass, he look up an sees three boys standing down at him. The one in the middle had his arms cross with a seriously look of angry on his face. It wasn't hard to tell that he is the leader of the group and was the one who push him.

"Ah, is this freak here trying to steal your girl Daniel?" The boy on his right side asked Daniel whom is the one in the middle.

"I believe so Jacob,"

"I said we give him a peace of are mind!" The boy left told Daniel as he raised his right hand making a fist.

"STOP! While don't you stop picking people that are not normal for once in your measurables lives?" The girl told the boys angrily as she walk towards them with a look are you really kidding me at them as she stand next to Bridge.

"REALLY Aria are serious standing up to this freak? I through we were on the same side?" Daniel ask her with a worried tone.

"DON'T ARIA ME!" Aria point her right finger at Daniel face. "Only my friends can called me Aria not cowards." She tell him.

Arianna turn to look down at Bridge smile at him as she hang out her right hand out too him. Bridge look at her wondering what was happened and why she was helping him. He take a deep breath and reaching out his right hand out to her an got up off the ground and then all suddenly he starts to feel things that wasn't his own feelings or aura for that matter.

He shake his head an look what at the bullies standing next to Arianna. "You're shouldn't had stand with him now you just made a enemy out of us, hope you are happy now. " Daniel told her as he turned away with his two friends.

"Yea, I think I can live with that." Aria replied back to him with a shrugging her shoulders agreeing to the situation that she is now smiling at the idea.

Once the boys were out of their sight Arianna face Bridge's once more. "I'm sorry about them me and Daniel have this thing going on and sometimes he just get on my nerves about it and said that we are a thing even though we are not. It's just complicated these days." Aria tell him as they'll walk over too a bench over at the swinging area and sit down lending back taking a deep breath thinking about the situation that went down.

"Why?"

"Mmm?" Arianna replied back to him as she tried too grab something out of her bag.

"Why did you help me when you know that I can use my powers to get out of the situation when I needed the most?" Bridge ask her out of coursed to why that is as he watch the other kids playing on playground. Aria smrik at the question an sample say "Let's just say I hate people bullying other people for no reasons that got nothing to do with they'll lives to make other people feel bad about themselves."

Bridge smug smile appear on his face as he an look down at his feet an turned his head to Aria and said "Thank you for what you did back there. I've mean it ready I do. Even if you rest your friendships with them or not you know that they'll will put a target on your back." with a hint of joy running through his body as he wondering had he finally made a friend. A real friend.

"Yea I knew that why not I be your friend for helping you out and maybe we can help other kids that are having problems making a difference in the world for a changes." Arianna told him as she grabbed the Polaroid camera in her bag that she was looking for.

Bridge look at the weird looking camera that she have in her right hand coursed on what it was.

"What that?"

"Ah, this thing my grandfather give it to me for birthday present told me that it was his life work trying to fix it making it new again. He told that it was an old camera that can take photos basically," Arianna explained him as he take a closer look at it. "Here let me show you." Arianna said to him as she lind against Bridge holding up the Polaroid both of them smiling as she take a picture.

Once that was done a photo image came out of the camera she take it out and shake the photo getting a clean picture of them. "So, that what it does?" Bridge ask her as he take the picture from her taken a look at it smiling at it thinking happy they'd both look in the photo.

"Yeah pretty much," she replied as she laughed at him on the look that he is making while he was looking at the photo and the Polaroid.

The Park

Aria and Bridge are at their childhood park where they first meet walked up to the same bench where their became  friends. There sit down on the bench as Bridge through back to when they've first meet and look at Aria clearly his thoug taking a deep breath.

" You remember when we were kids when we first met?"

Aria nodded her head in replied as a yes she remember smiling happy at the memories that is running through her mind as well. Her brown eyes spark at it and turn her head to look at her long time childhood friend that she hadn't seen since he left her to go too SPD academy. Aria take a really good look at him and can tell that he is still wearing his gloves to keep his powers under control and can tell that he's came along where from being this shy boy to a strong an fearsome man that what to make a difference in this world.

"Good then," he replied to her grateful that she still have her memories of them when they've were kids. "Now can we talk about what you know about my missing friends... the girl and the mad scientist?"

Aria cross her arms taking a deep breath. "Well what I do know is that girl  Nina I ran into her one day she's told me that she was working with this partner of hers on an project that would changes the world, but it's manages to back fire on them somehow an her partner demanded her to run away from him because of something inside of him with to come out. Then a month later I heard some rumors going around about your friends got kidnap by this scientist guy..." Aria roll eyes as she continued on explained. "I decided to do my own research put two two together about Nina and this scientist mad call Dr. Capture and find some crazy stuff on this guy whose turn out  not to be a bad guy after all he just wants to make a difference in the world. Kindly like we are doing but different you know." She told him as Aria point her right finger out making a statement out of it.

"Yea, so that all I know for right now. Unless you knew something that I don't since after all you do work for SPD?" She ask him raised her right eyebrow couscous at him.

He shake his head and through back for moment that he does remember that Nina lives in Apartment building called Benjamin. He got up from where he was sitting as he snap his right fingers.

"I do recall that she's live in a Apartment building called Benjamin we can go see if we can visit her for questioning about the situation?" He

Aria look at the playground and through if they're play this right they'll need to go all out on this if they can save his friends on time before the unthinkable happen. She nodded her head

She got up from the bench started walking too Bridge's "I got an idea but we have to play this my way. She doesn't know you yet. But she does know me let me do the taking first then you can do whatever is necessary that you do. Okay?" She said patting her right hand on his chest as she walk away to her white Van that was next to his bike.

Bridge sighs and shakes his head as he walk to his SPD bike got on it and started it up followed Aria to the apartment building that's they'll are going to met Nina for the first time.

Benjamin Apartment Building

Bridge's and Aria arrived at Nina door  Bridge rush without thinking the consciences was about to knock on the door. Aria grab his hand before he was about to knock trying to stop him from going in first.

Bridge tilts his head too look at Aria. "Why you stop me?"

Aria shake her head taken a deep breath sighs. " Like I said before yet me handle this. Do you ever followed the rules or you go straight down to business like you always do?" She says narrowing her eyes.

"Well, no," Bridge replied slowly. What I would do is ask my commander to go solve a mysterious problem on are own hands since no one us don't usually look at a small tiny pieces of information. Since they're too lazy on looking on what is in front of them not making sure that there don't get the wrong guy or woman for that matter."

Aria grimaces, because she knows what he's is capable of doing in these trap of situations where back then they'll use to sometimes play a game of cops and seekers when there were kids. "Alright smart boy step aside watch and learn how I get things done." She told him as Aria push him aside so she can knock on the door herself.

On the other side of the door Nina had a baseball bat in her right hand waiting to attack anyone that wanted answers on what happened at the park. She knew that they'd were looking for her. She not stupid about the current situation she is in. Nina nodded her head. "Whose is it!" She asks as she taking a deep breath tightly the bat in her hand prepared for what to come.

Aria and Bridge look at each other wondering whom is doing to answer back. "It's me Arianna the one at Piggy Cafe remember from an month ago me and my friend here just want too see how you are doing. That all. If you let us in we won't do anything that will mislead you to believe that we are cops or something us instead."Aria replied back while facing the door looking at Bridge with an knowing smirk. Bridge rolls his eyes at her with his arms cross.

Nina through for a moment or too sees two different out comes plays in her head like she seeing a movie in first person that you are the main character  and you have to figure out how to beat the out come. Nina look at the bat in her right hand an decided to put it's back where it belongs and decided too open the door for Aria and Bridge.

"Come on in? I'm sure you guys have a lot to said on what been going, so I suggest that you guys sit down it's going to be a long story." Nina told the two guests as their entire in the room looking around as she closed the door and realized that this is going to be a long week for her. Great! She through as she turn around...
