Res is home to two sentient life forms, the Mavors and the Amicus. The Mavors are humanoid species that values a strong military force. Every child is put through the guardian program. Not every child will chose to be a guardian in the end but they are required to complete the training for any job. Once their training is complete they are paired with an Amicus.

Amicus are similar to wolves and are very wise. Evolved along side the Mavors but they focus more on peace than military. They do understand the importance of a military so they send their strongest pups to be partnered with guardians to help them protect others. Amicus are held up very highly by the Mavors. They are almost worshipped in some ways. The Mavors always come up the Amicus when they need advice.

Mavors are humanoid with faint making in their body. The pattern differs for every Mavor. The color of the markings usually correspond with their abilities. Mavors are born with two abilities ranging from never falling down to controlling fire.

Amicus are born without any abilities but when they are partnered they tend to get abilities that mimic or complement their partner Mavor. Amicus are also very good at adapting. They take on physical changes to best fit the environment. Whether that be thicker fur or growing gills.
