Sitting between a nervous flyer, and silence was an odd mixture. Liesel turned and narrowed her eyes at the male beside her. He seemed really quite obsessed with something going wrong with the plane. Did he not know he was going to be on this for the next who knew how many hours? Clearly he was ignorant to it because he just continued on. And on. And on. There was a child sitting in front of her which actually started asking its mother if what this man said was right. It was mass hysteria in the making.

The silence to her other side naturally radiated off of Erik. He seemed to ignore the man. Really she was jealous. He was already sitting with his legs stretched out as much as possible, which was a mean feat considering the rubbish leg room and the fact that he was quite tall. He was quite tall to her, but then everyone seemed to be taller than her...but he seemed more than comfortable relaxing there with his hands entwined and in his lap, head resting back against the chair. Yes, Liesel was very, extremely jealous.

Snapping her head to the side she narrowed her eyes at the man. "Would you shut up? You do realise if you keep on, everyone on this plane will soon be panicking? Do you honestly wish to cause a mass panic attack?" She had had enough of listening to him saying the engines might cut out, or they may run out of fuel, she wasn't a great fan of being in cabins for ages either, but she wouldn't go off like this!

"But what if-"

"Oh, shut up already!" Liesel said shortly while holding up a hand and pressing two fingers to his neck. He gave the slightest of jolts before falling unconscious.

"That's abusing your power."

"Says the man who made another hit himself in the face." Liesel replied bluntly with an irritated sigh. She turned and looked to Erik, he merely opened one eye and watched the altercation. He didn't see why he'd need to get involved. Liesel was more than able to look after herself and sort this man out.

"Made you laugh though, didn't it?" At the mere remembrance of it, she laughed. "And there's my answer." Erik sighed gently and shut his eye again. Honestly, he just wished they would take off and be there already. Just sitting and waiting was a real drag.

"Could always play eye spy," Liesel caught sight of his bored expression and couldn't help but joke at his expense.

"You even try it and I will not talk to you for the rest of this journey."

"Oh you wouldn't do that...would you?" As if to prove a point, and get petty revenge, he didn't answer her. Liesel let out a childish whine and poked him on the arm.

Honestly, if it was anyone else acting like a seven year old, Erik was rather sure he'd be infuriated and react badly, if not verbally than there were other ways. But truth be told he had grown used to her childish moments. He wouldn't say he was immune, because being repeatedly poked was annoying. But he was just used to her moments when they did crop up. Which thankfully wasn't too often.

"I didn't even start and you're already ignoring me. You are a very mean person, Erik. And here I thought you were the opposite." This caused him to frown and shot her a confused look, though he still didn't answer her. Other people he had crossed paths with would not see him as a nice person. It was strange she did. Shutting his eyes and tuning out again only got another poke to the arm. "Erik, hey...excuse me, Erik? Darling, you seem to be acting very rudely. Erik, hey, hello? Anyone home?" At this she tapped a finger to his head. He opened his eyes fully this time and looked to her. "I can be very annoying if I need to be."

"Quite the attention seeker aren't you?"

Liesel beamed, "Got you to reply!"

"So it wasn't for nothing," he relented and looked to the man beside her. "Is he going to be okay?" He couldn't help but ask as the man seemed to have slouched more in his chair. Liesel looked and nodded quickly. "How're you feeling?" Truthfully the sudden use of her powers seemed to cause her to pale again. She honestly hadn't recovered from the other moment let alone this one too.

"I'll survive."

"That I'm sure you will."

She hesitantly placed a hand on the man's shoulder and pulled him upwards. "Please tell me I am not going to have to keep an eye on him."

"You shouldn't have knocked him out." Erik stated plainly while she shot him a glare. "Just saying." He shrugged and settled back against his seat. Though he did have to admit she was rather sneaky with using her powers without anyone else witnessing. Not that the other passengers seemed highly observant. Being told that take off was commencing, Liesel sent a worried look Erik's way. With a sigh he extended an arm, resting it across the arm rest and holding his hand out to the man, he focussed on manipulating the metal in the seatbelt to keep the man from jostling around during take off. Once in the air he moved his arm back and crossed it over the other. "Next time you do something like that, can you at least pay attention to our surroundings?"

Liesel held a finger up and pointed it at him, she even opened her mouth to reply and ended up just frowning and huffing. She firmly crossed her arms and looked away. Her eyes slowly slid over the other passengers. Seeing the gap in between the seats in front of her, she smiled slowly. The child in front was peering through grinning at her. The young boy ducked out of sight only to return seconds later. When he was greeted with Liesel pulling a face, he laughed. He sounded so innocently happy it caused her to laugh quietly too. "Sorry," she apologised when his mother looked confused. But seeing as how her son wasn't causing an actual problem, she didn't intervene. The boy disappeared again, and when he came back he looked confused when she had gone. When in truth all she had done was duck to the side and lean forward against the seat before her. Peering suddenly through the gap, she smiled and laughed when the boy did too.

Liesel pouted and had a quickly whispered conversation with the boy before leaning back against her chair. With a rather humble sigh she twiddled her thumbs. She liked children, the never ending happiness at everything fascinated her. So innocent and naïve, she hoped they treasured that while it lasted. Despite the niggling negatives, she did one day wish she had a family. With another sigh she looked slowly to the side when she sensed being looked at. Erik had watched the pair with an unreadable expression. He wasn't surprised Liesel could easily communicate with a child. But she did it with such laid back ease, it came naturally to her.

"Before you say it, yes I know my mental age is showing, again."

"I wasn't going to say that." Erik replied and looked to the side, he looked out of the window by his side and then looked back at her. She made a point of solely looking at him whenever she looked his way. She just couldn't cope with seeing endless water below them. "Why do you hate water?" The question came out before he registered it.

"Ice baths. I can't deal with being around water. Showers are fine, because that water goes. But...water surrounding me? No, I can't..." Liesel shuddered and laughed, it was a strained noise. "You know, before you turned up on my doorstep I was doing the washing up, as you do. And I can't even deal with a sink full of water. It's ridiculous isn't it?" She looked to him, Erik shook his head slowly. Everyone had a fear rooted to something from the past. If only she knew that her fear wasn't as silly as she thought. "I wasn't alone, before you ask. Gretchen got roped into these bathing sessions too. She didn't last long, I think my resilience was better than hers. But that resilience proved pathetic against frost bite, didn't it?" She still had long healed scars on her hands and fingers from that experience, after all. "Ah, God, getting all reminiscing here...I don't quite like it."

Erik shut the blind on the window and shut his eyes. It was clear just knowing one glance would make her see her worst nightmare, didn't sit well with him. They both had enough nightmares to counter and conquer, at least this one could be countered against easily. He was somewhat glad, as rude as that was, that she also felt awkward about the words she was saying. When divulging the snippet of his past he hadn't been wholly comfortable. He only really did it to give her something to concentrate on. This time the memory trip lane talk was prompted.

"Erik?"

"Yes?"

"You know what that man was raving about? You know...that the plane could have a defect and crash?"

"What about it?" He didn't really care about the mutterings of an irrational person. He rather cared for trying to get some sleep. Liesel had been right earlier about catching up on rest.

"It hasn't, has it? Like...you would know..."

"There's nothing wrong with the plane, Liesel. Just ignore the man, which shall be even easier considering what you've done. If there was a problem I'm sure I could counter it, does that put your mind at rest? As long as we're both passengers, and if something does go wrong, I'll do everything within my power to make sure the flight continues." Erik replied just for the sake of quietening her down and causing her to feel some ease. She hadn't ever had thoughts like that before, he sarcastically mentally thanked the man for causing this moment of paranoia.

That did help quite a bit, more than he perhaps knew. Liesel sent a withering look to the unconscious man, before trying to get comfortable. Though getting comfortable involved having to use Erik's shoulder as pillow, not that he seemed to particularly care. It was one other thing that he had steadily grown used to with her. Her seemingly never ending liking to leaning against his shoulder. It was such a simple thing which made both in part feel a sense of comfort from the other.

----

"Argentina!" Out of all things to suddenly be exclaimed, this was not what Erik was expecting. Truthfully he thought Liesel's first words would be those directed at the heat. From memory recalled; she didn't do heat. Unfortunately, there was one thing Argentina seemed to be, and that was hot. As if on cue, Liesel started to wave a hand at herself. As if her hand was suddenly going to be able to cool herself down. Any air she was directing at herself, would surely just be as hot as the air circulating them?

It seemed like that had just sunk in because she let her hand fall to her side. Frowning she seemed lost in thought as they walked away from the airport. It was early evening when they arrived, an awkward time. Not really suitable for doing anything other than finding somewhere to haul up for the evening. Somewhere where they could easily have access to, that wasn't a great distance from the airport; in case they needed to get away quickly. And also somewhere where their comings and goings wouldn't be noticed hugely.

All in all, it took a while. Each place Liesel suggested and pointed to just received a scrutinised look and a shake of the head from Erik. He never really voiced what was wrong with them, he just easily dismissed them and walked off. Liesel sighed and didn't comment as she trailed behind Erik, happily swinging her luggage from one hand to the other while looking about herself. Whistling quietly she skipped to one side to avoid walking into a group of people, and she took another skipped step forwards so she was walking beside Erik. He merely glanced down at her before looking up and stopping suddenly.

Reaching out, he clasped gently onto her shoulder to stop her from furthering on. She seemed ignorant to him suddenly ceasing in walking, so naturally being tugged backwards, she let out a startled noise which accompanied her flailing her arms about. Her odd actions got even odder looks sent her way by the people who were still walking about the streets. But seeing as how no unwarranted actions were furthered on from getting her to be by his side, no one seemed to intervene, or wish to.

Giving Liesel a look, Erik moved away from her side and walked towards the receptionist. The man behind the high counter looked at him kindly and even glanced at Liesel before looking back at Erik. Liesel gave the two males a sidelong look before looking at the wall in front of her. It seemed covered in photographs, local land marks, even a small shelf like piece which held pamphlets in it. Tilting her head she reached up and pulled a few out that looked interesting. Hearing a sudden step by her side, she looked at Erik. He frowned and shook his head, they weren't here for sightseeing after all. No matter how much he seemed to lie to the receptionist about doing otherwise.

Continuing to whistle the tune from earlier on, Liesel couldn't help but let it suddenly die in the air. "Erm..." Liesel loitered in the door, before picking her feet up and shuffling into the room. She did shut the door gently with her foot as she walked forwards and stared at the room before her.

"What?" Erik asked while throwing his bag at the end of the bed and sitting down on the edge of it.

Liesel just pointed at him, which caused him to frown at her. "What?"

Seems that's all she could muster, Erik rolled his eyes. "We aren't going to be here long, there's no point in getting separate rooms. Liesel, stop that, your fish impression is first class but seriously, stop. Just...think of it this way: it isn't the first time we've shared a bed."

"What?!" She exclaimed and threw her bag on the floor before awkwardly walking over. "Yes, when I was like twelve!"

"Fourteen, actually." Erik smirked, it was mean to admit teasing her was actually quite fun.

"I had nightmares!"

"You still do."

"And?!" Liesel's shoulders hunched defensively and she narrowed her eyes down at him. Erik shrugged and crossed his arms, though he briefly looked up when the quiet sounds of tinkering filtered into the room.

"No pun intended, but don't blow a fuse." This didn't exactly calm her down as the electrics which she was indirectly having contact with and influencing just seemed to have their filters tinkered with more.

With a huff, Liesel more or less stomped a foot and sat by his side. With a pout she bounced slightly before shrugging. "This seems comfy." It seemed like she changed her tune quickly there.

Running a hand down his face, he looked to her. Raising an eyebrow he looked at her curiously. "Really, I hadn't noticed."

His sarcasm just caused her to laugh. Liesel nudged her shoulder against his, "Shut up."

"Fine." Erik replied simply while rubbing his hands together. He frowned in thought and only came back to reality when a pamphlet was waved in his line of sight. "We're not staying long enough to be actual tourists."

"Nein, schauen." Liesel pressed and waved the infernal piece of paper his way again. With a frown he plucked the pamphlet from her hand and turned it over. It was just information about the natural surroundings in the area. "Where else does one put a possible secret Nazi hideaway? The mountainside seems apt, does it not?" Erik turned the paper over before looking at Liesel. Only somewhere between her starting and finishing she had laid down. She opened her eyes and looked at him as she rested her hands on her stomach.

"Good observation on your part."

"Are you saying I am not observant on an everyday basis?" Liesel tilted her head to the side curiously. She liked to think she paid enough attention to almost everything she came into contact with.

Erik shook his head, he wasn't even going to answer that. Deciding to lay beside her, he simply dropped the pamphlet onto the floor and copied her position by placing his hands on his stomach too. "There's a hitch though."

"Yes?"

Erik turned his head and looked at her. "There's a lot of ground to search out there."

Liesel bit her lip in thought before looking away from the ceiling to him. "Looks like we may be here longer than you thought."

"No." He said certainly. There was no particular reason why they'd need to. There was an easy way of getting to know where this villa was. And that was to simply find someone who knew of it and the exact whereabouts.

"So?"

Narrowing his eyes in thought, Erik looked past her to the window. It was starting to get dark now, the glow of the lights outside was slowly seeping in through the windows. "That wall downstairs." He started, Liesel pushed herself onto her elbows and nodded slowly. "What else was there?"

"You think they'll simply advertise it to...well...everyone?"

"If something is in plain sight, no one will question it. If someone asks where it is, the receptionist can simply lie. 'I'm not actually certain', 'or it's been demolished', take your pick just to get whoever off their back."

"Wait, wait...I'm not totally liking how you're referring to this. Are you saying, or suggesting, that the receptionist...that old guy down there who looked barely able to walk without holding onto the counter, is possibly in with this? He may know where this hideout is, or is quite possibly an ex-Nazi in hiding? Erik, are we in a hotel which is being run by a refugee Nazi?" Liesel couldn't even hide the sudden nerves and concern from her voice. The fact that Erik just looked at her plainly did little to help.

"No," he said eventually while looking back at the ceiling. Liesel sighed heavily and put a hand to her fast beating heart. "But I suggest possibly finding out."

"You can't just go down there and start interrogating the old man."

"Why? Because it's wrong? What if he is what you suggest, hm? Can you freely sleep in peace, or attempt to, knowing that?"

"And what if he's innocent?" Liesel frowned down at him. "Then you would've just picked on an old man for no reason." She paused and pointed a finger at him. "He could call the police, and then we'd be totally stuck."

"It isn't like we need to come back here."

"Erik..." Liesel sighed, hanging her head she shook it slowly before turning and kneeling by his side. "We can't simply approach people thinking the worst. We can't think that because we are looking for...that everyone is either one of them, or knows of them."

"You do realise that the government here is already aware to them being in the country?" He wished to voice. Liesel tensed at that and shook her head. "There's a reason why I'm thinking like that, because chances are; I could be right."

"You do realise, you're right most of the time?" Liesel asked while crossing her arms loosely. Erik leaned up onto his elbows and nodded slowly. He wasn't even going to deny that really. "You don't need to agree, you egomaniac!" Liesel exclaimed and punched him lightly on the shoulder. "So...what do we do now?"

He looked at her simply before looking around. It was getting late, not too late but it was now dark enough to hinder doing anything half useful to their task. "Sleep."

Liesel slouched at this and groaned. "Really?"

"What?" Erik slowly sat up and moved off of the bed to go to the window. He looked out at the street below. Not many people were about now, even the traffic had calm down and seemed non-existent. "We can't do a whole lot else. There's no point making a move until tomorrow comes. So sleep, it was a long trip over."

Liesel turned and looked at him. He just leaned against the wall near the window, arms crossed and seemingly intently looking out of it. "And what about you?"

Erik looked at her oddly from over his shoulder at this. "Sorry?"

"You need to rest too." Liesel stated obviously. He simply sat down in the chair near the window, she narrowed her eyes. That wasn't exactly a hint to sit down, as if that'd make it better. "You're so awkward." Liesel muttered while getting off of the bed and raiding in her bag for a change of clothes. Against better judgement, he smirked over her comment while she disappeared within the bathroom to change. She walked back out a few minutes later while tying her hair up as she somehow managed to keep her clothes tucked under an arm. Looking away from the floor, and eyeing up her plaid pyjama trousers, she rolled her eyes at the sight of Erik suddenly laying back on the bed only with his arms under his head.

She muttered under her breath about him being awkward some more before sitting down. "What if you have a nightmare?" He inquired while smiling her way. It seemed whenever in the past when she was young the only person skilled enough to calm her down when she had a bad dream was him. Somehow getting around to sharing a bed to comfort her had died down as soon as she hit adolescence.

"Shut up!" Liesel shouted fully embarrassed by his comment while rather childishly picking up a pillow from behind herself and hitting him with it. "You're insufferable!"

"You're being so polite this evening." Erik laughed while peeling the pillow away and giving it back to her. Liesel opened and shut her mouth several times trying to reply only to glare and bury herself under the covers and in the pillows. Shaking his head, Erik got comfortable in top of the covers and shut his eyes. It was cruel, but making her have a slight tizzy from embarrassment was fun. Her reactions were as endearing as they were comical.
