Steven's POV~

It was a nice day in Beach City. Gems and humans are living together in harmony instead of being in war. It is the most beautiful I've ever seen.

Right now I was being smothered by my Diamond family, they didn't want me to leave them but I had too.. It was starting to get so awkward being around them.

I stepped on the warppad as fast as I could, yelling "Bye guys!", "But Steven!" They, Blue, Yellow and White yelled in unison but before they could finish their thoughts, I warped from Homeworld, heading back to Earth.

When I stepped off, I saw connie sitting by the door reading a book. She was wearing this space jumpsuit, her pretty brown hair pulled back by a beret. Connie jumped up and asked why I was late, I told her about the Diamond's wanting me to live with them.

Connie giggled and told me she was waiting for me before she left for Space Camp. She blushed as she held my hands and quickly kissed my cheek, before rushing out the door saying bye.

I was smiling and I felt like I wanted to sing. I ran out singing how everything is bright and how everything will be okay from here on out. I thought this was going to be the best future yet.

(Small Time Skip~ Because why not)

Me, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl were laying on the grass, I sighed and began to ask, "How's the future Garnet? Is it going to stay just like this?" She sat up and said to us that it won't. Wind started to pick up and the sky began to grow dark with clouds.

We all looked up to see an injector floating above us, "Are you Steven Universe!?" Unsure of myself, "Uh, yes?" This unknown person began to say, "Perfect.." Her finger started to expand and wrap up into a horn, she blew into it and the injector started to draw out it's drill. Me and the gems stood in a fighting stance waiting for her to make a move.

Her finger then turned to a telescope and she looked straight at us, "Well, well, well, lemme get a look at the menagerie." I stepped back ready to summon my sheild, "You must be Amethyst, you must be Garnet, and Pink Diamond's Pearl... Well, she took you with her.. Isn't that just swell..." Pearl was baffled and began to mutter, "It can't be..." She laughed and said, "Oh, but it can be, and it is. I got a brand new style and a few new toys to put an end to to your happily ever after!"
"Woah hold on! I have established peace in the universe, there's no more conflict." She kind of growled, "I know..."

"I had your little message to the universe, on LOOP!!", her foot stretched way out and kicked me hard, causing me to fly backwards. I landed on the ground with an 'oof' I looked up and she jumped down and began to sing a song, 'Other Friends'.

She made the gems poof with this long pink electrifying scythe. I was on my knees, I didn't understand. I looked up at her with anger built up in me, I got up and summoned my shield. She taunted me but I didn't want to hear it, I yelled at her, "That's enough!" I grabbed her scythe and I began to feel so much pain. I gripped the scythe and pulled it from her and slashed her with her own weapon.

The gem began to laugh right as she poofed. I put the weapon in my jacket pocket and fell onto my knees with a deep sigh. I picked up the heart shaped gem and tried to bubble her but my bubble wasn't working. "What the?", I tried once more but it didn't work, something wasn't right. I grabbed all the gems including the one who tried to kill us and started to walk back to the house.
