WHAT DO WE DO?
Hello. Currently speaking is Moira. Miles and I created Minka to start a collaboration of designers. This specific book will be (as the title says) focused on all your requests. In other words: do you need a book cover? This is the place to be!

WHO MAKE THE COVERS?

Hey, this is Miles! Definitely not my own name and obviously chosen so that we had three names that started with an 'M'. I'm the oldest of these three musketeers being the age of twenty, which naturally gives me that extra responsibility. I waste my time studying, listening to vague music and watching even vaguer movies. In addition I exercise so I won't feel too old.

My covers are often based on color or typography contrasts. Attempting experimental shizzle is also my sort of thing. I've only been making covers starting this year, so I'm also the newest oldest.

Also a hello from me, Moira. I've written one English (by us) but mostly Dutch stories (shameless promo) on my personal account. Next to hiding behind a computer to read Wattpad stories, I also like hiding behind a piano. Or my guitar.

At age nineteen it has been approximately three years since I started making covers. I started out using Word (not recommended) for like a year-ish. And now I still haven't figured out the wonders of Photoshop, so not sure what I've actually been doing those three years.

I'd say my expertise is using colorful vectors (teen fiction), sometimes an illustrative fantasy, and definitely not horror.

Heyhey, it's May! I've been ordered to write a short piece about myself, so here you go. For the people that don't know me yet: I'm sixteen years old, so the oldest of the group (mentally). People that do know me, know that I spend my time binging SKAM and writing stories (I mean, duh) and I occasionally play cello (next generation Mozart over here).

My covers are mostly classified in the genres fantasy and thriller, but I also make vector covers from time to time. Generally, there are also portraits and photographs of characters on my covers. I have been making covers for a year now and recently started using Photoshop.

HOW TO REQUEST A COVER? [Dutch translation included/bevat Nederlandse vertaling]

FIRST: Terms and Conditions [algemene voorwaarden]

1. Only requests of published books will be accepted. This will be checked. (To prevent people requesting a cover for a book that'll never exist)

2. Making covers can take hours and we'd really appreciate to give us credit for it. So please tag MinkaDesign AND the right designer in one of your chapters and in the description.

3. Please fill in the entire list. Extra examples are highly recommended. We do not know your book as well as you do, and we want to make sure we can deliver a fitting cover for your story.

4. Don't plagiarize. This includes: using (a part of) our covers without permission, editing our covers (even though it's your own requested cover), copying the exact style of our covers without credit.
