Hullo. So I was really excited that you specifically want a vector cover. But for some reason I was kinda struggling with this one

But first: MINDBLOWING discovery. Apparently these covers aren't vector covers. Because if you search for "flat people illustrations" you get png's of all these that I call vector people. So there's that. I'm not needed anymore. Goodbye, was fun.

Anyways. Back into the times this was a secret (or maybe it never was and no one told me so I had to draw it all myself hahaha kill me). I started out with the following images.

But wasn't feeling it. The first one was supposed to be the interior of a bus. Then I realised that I couldn't draw so there's that. The second just looked like a stalker. And the third, I don't know, the third is kinda okay. I just didn't know how to match it with the sequel.

In other words, I started over again hahaha

OK first, I love series. It's always fun to see how thr covers match. Here it's not all too flashy, but clearly visible. Two nice wholes that both share their own story. The little details intrigue me, so fun that you added them. Also the effects with scratches and shadows is a nice addition. And the contrast jn tbe paper texture and clothes gives it the little extra popping that it needed. The blond girl however should look at some sun screen. Doesn't look really healthy like this.

Oh by the way, the title and author aren't really eye catching, but I don't know yet if it really bothers me

[Oke ten eerste, ik hou van series. Altijd leuk om te zien hoe de covers overeen komen. Hier is het niet al te flashy, maar je ziet het goed. Ik vind het twee mooie gehelen die allebei hun verhaal doen. Die kleine details intrigeren, dus leuk dat je ze toevoegt. Ik vind ook de effecten met de scratches en schaduwlijnen toevoegen. En het contrast in de papiertexture en de kleren doet het net dat beetje extra poppen dat het wel nodig had. Het blonde meisje moet wel even kijken naar wat zonnebrandcreme, niet erg gezond zo denk ik

Oh wel vind ik de titel en auteur niet heel erg eyecatching, ben er niet helemaal uit of het erg is]

Yes I agree with Miles on matters of skin color of the girl. She looks exactly like me after a summerday on the beach hahahaha. But overall indeed beautifully done with the paper structure, and your typical curls on the corners really finishes it. The font of the author matches quite well, in my opinion.
You could maybe lighten the background and darken the title to improve readability? But it also suits it nicely, so I kind of have mixed feeling about it. But verrrytt welk done. (Not that I expected anything else)!

[Ja eens met Miles op het gebied van de huidskleur van het meisje, ze ziet er exact uit als ik na een dagje op het strand in de zomer, hahahah. Maar daarnaast inderdaad mooi gedaan met die papierstructuur, en je kenmerkende krulletjes aan de randen maken het helemaal af. En het lettertype van de auteursnaam is best passend, vind ik eigenlijk. Verder had je misschien de achtergrond wat lichter kunnen maken of de titel wat donkerder zodat het misschien wat beter te lezen was? Maar het past er ook wel weer mooi bij, dus ik heb een beetje dubbele mening erover. Daarnaast errug goed gedaan weer (niet dat ik anders had verwacht)!]
