The Incident, Part Two: Goodbye, Younglings...
A week later...
"What do you think I can do about this?" Pilseung asked as he stared at the three younglings (as Rosie called them apparently) playing with Soli. "I thought you said you had it under control."
"We're giving up sooner than expected," Taeyang sheepishly admitted. "We don't know what to do either."
"Rosie's going to find out information for us, but she might take some time," Cartoon Tyler added.
"Urgh... She should be able to find something, though, so that's fine I guess," Pilseung grunted. "That thing came from Galaxy Weapon 2, right?"
"Right," Taeyang nodded. "Rosie has a catalog of all the things that are stored within Galaxy Weapon 2, so we should be able to figure out how to reverse the effects of the spray they used by the end of the day."
"What was stored in Galaxy Weapon 2, though?" Demon Taeyang looked up from patting Speed as he played with building blocks, while Rocket read a book and Soli & Monster went around playing tag.
"A lot of stuff. According to Kongdu, King Majestic would store slightly harmless yet dangerous weapons in there. The more lethal weapons couldn't be stored in there out of fear that they would misuse it," Taeyang recounted.
"Huh, no wonder they always have weird and stupid stuff," Cartoon Tyler remarked.
The other three laughed at that comment. He was right, though; the trio did tend to get bad luck over stuff like this. Even Pilseung, who had less than great memories of the three, having been captured by them when Demon Taeyang was still being manipulated by that white demon, lost most of his fear after Taeyang told him the various stories of his fights against them and how they were willing to set frogs free. He became a lot more sympathetic towards them after that.
"But really... Do we want them to turn back?" Demon Taeyang asked. "I mean, you still have many other Tobots..."
"I've thought about it," Taeyang admitted. "And I've decided that yeah, I do want them back. They're cute, but I like them as Tobots. Plus..." he smirked as he held out some polaroid shots, "I got the perfect shots to frame once they turn back to normal."
"And you call us scary," Tyler laughed. "I'm not surprised you're pulling that card. I think I would have as well. Those three can be gremlins when they want to."
Pilseung chuckled, "I'm glad I'm not around most of the time."
"Don't push your luck," Taeyang teased his (best) friend. "You'll get karma's punch any time soon now."
"Very funny," Pilseung smirked.
The four then laughed, lightening the atmosphere and giving them hope that they could change the younglings back to their rightful Tobot selves.
They would make it, right?

"Okay, it took a long while, but I tracked down the spray you guys described," Rosie's words relieved them immensely as she stood there with a spray of clear liquid. "The one you guys described turned out to be a spray that can turn anyone and anything into a young child"
"Huh... so that explains it. But it was sprayed onto them 2 days before they transformed," Taeyang said.
"It is mainly based on their emotional states. If the person keeps their emotions hidden, the time will take longer. The spray works slowly, too, but it can morph back to its original form by neutralizing the effects of the spray," Rosie held the spray out for them to see. "We've managed to make a cure for this. The liquid's molecules have dispersed, but they can't merge with the body fully, so these will get rid of them and slowly undo the process."
"Alright then," Pilseung nodded. "Anything we need before we do it?"
"Yes. You need to ensure only the younglings are around when you spray them," Rosie said. "I can take care of cleaning the toys once everything's done, but it can only be them in the room when we spray it."
"So hazmat suits?" Demon Taeyang joked.
"Maskers work just fine," she shot it down.
"That works for me," Pilseung shrugged. "Let's go then."
"Yeah!" Taeyang agreed.
Cartoon Tyler and Demon Taeyang shared a glance before Tyler held his hand out and pulled Demon Taeyang up to his feet.
"Hey, Yang-i, where are you going?" Speed looked up, bright aquamarine eyes shining under the navy hair he owned and his fair fingers playing with the string for his yellow hoodie as he asked this question. His feet were cross-legged, and he seemed so innocent...
"We need to go somewhere, okay?" Taeyang eventually lied through his teeth. "We're going to go out for a while. Rosie-nuna will be in the house caring for you until then, okay?"
"Okay!" Monster cheered, running over to the alien faster than one could say Rodeo, ruby-red eyes bright as his tangerine-coloured hair bounced up and down with him, not matching the black shirt and beige pants he had on. "Rosie-nuna, let's play a game!"
Pilseung then scooped Soli up and told the white-haired Rocket as he looked up with his warm yellow eyes, "We're taking Soli with us, okay?"
"Okay," he quietly mumbled, eyes slowly returning to the book on his cargo pants while adjusting his black shirt slightly.
The four smiled before they left, heading up to Taeyang's room that was shared with Tyler, Demon Taeyang, the Tobots, and Ty, a mirror demon who liked Soli. Taeyang placed his sister on the bed and positioned his bedside mirror so Ty can see her, saying, "Mind keeping an eye on her? We have some stuff to do."
"The Tobot mess?" Ty guessed.
"Yep," he said.
"Then leave this to me," Ty smiled quietly. "You guys ... please bring them back... It's been a week since they transformed, and I miss them."
"We do too," Taeyang consoled him. "We'll get them back for sure."
The other three nodded, a fire burning in their eyes before the four exited and went down to join Rosie, who already had a masker on as she peeped into the room, where the three kids were.
"Do you want to say anything to them before they turn back?" she asked them once they joined up with her.
"Not really..." they shook their heads, although Taeyang was quiet. He didn't know what to do in this situation... He...
Was this it?
He had spent an entire week with them, and this was it?
... No, it couldn't be... He...
He had to tell them something first. A theory he had had for a while. Why it had taken so long for them to turn...
"Good then," she turned around and got the spray out--
"Wait."
"Huh, Taeyang?" she looked back. "What's wrong?"
He looked away, but mumbled, "I... I need to say something to them."
"O-Oh... O-Okay then," Rosie looked surprised but stepped aside so he could go in.
All three heads looked up, and they rushed to hug him, big eyes bright in happiness.
"Taetae! Look look! I drew a pineapple!" Speed cheered.
"I finished a book about space! It's so cool!" Rocket piped in.
"I made a castle for all of us to live in!" Monster boasted.
Taeyang laughed, but slowly settled them all down as he said, "Hey guys, I... I want to say something to you."
"What's wrong, Taetae?" Rocket asked quietly.
The other two settled down as well once they saw the worry in his eyes.
"I... I love you," he hugged them tightly. "No matter if you're human, Tobot, or even far away from me. I will always love you. I will never force you to fight a battle you couldn't win. I'm sorry for the times when I acted out. I'm so sorry that it took me so long to figure out that you had been suppressing your feelings for my sake, and that's why it took so long..."
Out of nowhere, he felt hot tears stream down his face, but he wiped them off and whispered, "Never forget that, in your worst times..."
"Taetae...?" Monster looked worried.
He got up, and headed out, but stopped right in front of the door, and smiled wearily, "It was an awesome week, but it's time to get back to work, guys. Come... Come back to me please..."
Then, he stepped out, and Rosie quickly spritzed the liquid in before she shut the door.
Taeyang collapsed onto Demon Taeyang, and he could only sob as the pain, the sorrow, the regret ate at him inside.
Demon Taeyang hugged him back, and the others soon joined into a group hug to calm down their friend.
Maybe friends could lie to each other, but it's only these tough moments that make or break them.
For Taeyang, this strengthened their bond, deepening it because they were partners, friends, family.
A crazy family, but family nonetheless.

The Tobots went back to normal that very same day, thankfully, but they still retained their memories of what had transpired, and not only were they mortified, they were also downright apologetic about keeping it from him.
Taeyang didn't mind, and hugged them tight, mumbling about how idiots like them really needed to be more open.
That day, there were tears, there were smiles, there were wears, there was old bile.
But no matter what, they stuck together, because that was what family, their makeshift family did for each other.
I'm sorry Littlexheatwave I have no clue what I wrote XD I do hope it's good though. Do contact me if you're going to the League, though, cause it's more than 6 hours to go.
