Experiment, Chapter Six: What Happens is a Happily Ever After *Badgerclops*

Years later...

"Sarah! Where are you?" A white wolf called out to his adopted daughter, getting a reply of "Coming dad!" while his husband, an eyepatched badger, adjusted the present behind his back for the n-th time.

"You don't have to keep adjusting it, BC," Cyber told his lover, making the other look over with a frown as he said, "Of course I have to. I want it to be perfect for her."

"It won't suddenly unscrew itself," the wolf chuckled, and the former deputy of Pure Heart's Sheriff Department gave him the look that said, "Don't jinx it!"

That just made Cyber laugh even more. BC had gotten into a slightly superstitious thought process after that one moment when his mom, Willow, had scared him to death, and honestly, his face back then had been priceless. (It was saved in his hard drive, but shh, don't tell Badgerclops.)

"Dads?" the voice of their daughter soon came in as the black and white badger cub herself came in, her blue orb shining bright under the light of their homemade light bulbs. "What's up?"

They shared happy glances before Badgerclops said, "We wanted to surprise you as a gift for winning that contest. We know your grandma and Cyber's siblings have given you gifts, but we wanted to get you something that would help a lot when you go out."

Cyber smiled and then gestured to the gadget behind BC; a watch of sorts that gleamed under the artificial light.

Sarah gave both of them confused looks, but soon it became clear when they put it on her; it immediately lit up and showed a lot of amazing features, such as blueprint drawing apps, science videos downloaded and stocked endlessly in its library, and lots more.

"Woah!" She couldn't believe it. Her dads had worked on this for her?! "Thank you, Dads!"

She gave them both big hugs before rushing upwards to begin planning some new inventions, but she didn't forget to sign the ILY sign to them with a huge beam on her face as she soon disappeared upwards to the second floor of their modest house.

"Well, she really liked it, so there was nothing to worry about, BC," Cyber laughed, wrapping his arms around the other while leaning in to snuggle up closer to him.

"I guess," BC eventually agreed, a smile forming at long last as he said, "I'm glad she did really. She had it rough before we took her in, so she deserves lots and lots of happiness."

"I'm just relieved she can be treated well by everyone in the valley," Cyber admitted. "I was worried they would react negatively like how they had with me, but I immediately saw that my concern was unfounded."

"You had the right idea," BC argued. "It took you saving Ol Blue for them to realise you weren't a monster, so of course you're bound to be worried."

"Still, I'm just happy our lives turned out like this, you know?" Cyber said. "I have a loving husband, a wonderful daughter, and a warm home. And to think that before Darkness kidnapped me, I was lonely, lost, and didn't have a friend in the world aside from machines and inventions."

"I would have wanted us to meet in a different way, but I suppose there was a silver lining in what she did to you," BC smiled as he hugged Cyber, holding out the ILY sign to him while closing his eyes contently.

Cyber chuckled and held it out to him as well before closing his own eyes, both falling asleep in front of their fireplace, the warm hearth, years after that fateful day, when Badgerclops had discovered Cyber in that cave.

It had led to change, and it had led to love.

Badgerclops wouldn't want it any other way, honestly.

And done! Again, very rushed, but I'm trying to get everything here done before moving on, so what do you think venusaura?
