Experiment, Chapter Four: I'm Not Your Servant *Badgerclops*

When Ol Blue opened his eyes, he couldn't believe his eyes.

Neither could the other Sweetiepies who were watching this.

The person who had saved him.... had been Cyber. The person who they had accused of being a Sky Pirate for so long, thinking he had to be one due to the amount of cybernetics he owned. Due to being an experiment to an unknown scientist, a spy, whatever.

That very same Cyber had saved him from that tornado. Even though they didn't deserve his kindness, he still gave it.

Darkness herself was surprised by this development as the tornado disappeared, causing Badgerclops to open his eyes, gaping soon afterward at the scene out of shock, yet also pride at Cyber's own strengths shining through.

"What the...." Darkness muttered. "This... this can't be possible! I thought I got rid of its compassion!"

Cyber gently set Ol Blue down, and said, "Hide, I fight Darkness."

Without hesitation, the therapist scooted away to join the other Sweetiepies who were soon escorted away by Mao Mao and Adorabat, although they did shoot Badgerclops the look that hoped he came out of this alive.

He simply gave them a thumbs-up and a grin. He didn't plan on losing to this so-called god anyway.

Once they were gone, leaving the three there, he rushed over to Cyber, "Are you okay!?"

Cyber nodded, a small smile forming, "I okay. You hide, I fight."

Badgerclops frowned, grabbing him gently as he said, "No, we fight together. We're not going to lose this match. I'm not about to make the same mistake and run away again. I will stand my ground with you because I love you!"

Here, Cyber's eyes widened, and a HUGE flush formed on his face. So did the badger upon actually loading what he had said.

Oh.

He had just exposed his crush on Cyber, go figure.

.... Wait that was BAD. His friendship with Cyber could-

He barely managed to avoid the blast Darkness shot their way, her face contorted in complete disgust as she growled, "That is so sickening it made me ready to puke. It won't matter, though. I will get it back and perfect it at long last-"

"He, no it!" Cyber hissed, anger burning in his eyes. He had learned a lot from Badgerclops, and it showed as he continued, "I not item!"

"Yeah! Cyber is not your pet! He is his own being and you can't do anything no matter how much you try!" Badgerclops agreed. "We will take you down, Darkness!"

Cyber then looked at him and nodded as a concentrating look formed on his face. A silent conversation seemed to pass between the two before they slid into battle stances, adjusting their cybernetics to offense mode.

They were ready to take her on, and she was too, proven when the two sides charged at the same time.

Their movements were slightly groggy, a bit cause of some damage the two had taken, and also cause they were not familiar with the other's style, but soon they understood each other's moves and became a great team,  trusting in the other as they shot and dodged. They were beginning to wear her down, which was evident with her slight panting, although she tried to hide it. However, they DID notice and shared a glance before they nodded, ready to end this fight.

It was time to end this once and for all. For Pure Heart and for Cyber's sake.

Both loaded their blasters once more, aiming it at her while backing off slightly, and let it charge up while her eyes grew panicked, realizing that she was on thin ice.

REALLY thin ice.

"No no no no no-" She was cut off as the blasters went off, hitting her point-blank and causing a HUGE explosion while the two covered their eyes to shield them from a light overload.

As the wind settled down, they slowly let their hands down, their vision adjusting to the battlefield.

One question went through their mind.

Did we win?

And indeed, they did, when they saw Darkness on the ground, limp and unmoving.

BC rushed over and checked for a pulse, which, much to his relief, was still there.

But there was another reason why he was relieved; Darkness was defeated, and she didn't seem to be capable of leaving.

That meant that soon, Cy would be free from her cruelty.

That realisation alone made tears sprout out of his eyes as he cried, not for himself, but for the love of his life.

Maybe their relationship would never be the same with his stupid, stupid impulse to confess to him during a battle, but Cyber was free, and that was all he needed.

I rushed this a heck ton- But yeah, I really hope this caters well to you! :)
