Jellymon stared at the things that were there. Which of these would fit her darling....?

"We sure dodged a bullet there," Angoramon exhaled as he looked at the computers as well. Truly a relief that they had been mistaken and the person hadn't been Hiro.

"That would have thrown your plans down the drain," Shoutmon pointed out.

"We KNOW that you dumb rockmon," Jellymon snapped. "So shut up and help me find something for Darling!!"

She of course had the perfect thing in mind when she got the idea to get Kiyoshiro a gift; a computer! But that was it. She couldn't grasp just which kind he would want or need for his work as a programmer or even for games. He already had VR glasses, and she doubted he would want another one.

Plus she didn't want this gift to be accepted just because he was too afraid of her. Jellymon had been too rough on him all this time and she hated it. Sure it seemed fun at first but now she just wanted to give him kindness for some reason. He was a coward and a dumb-dumb. Why should she care?

Again, an enigma she would never get, perhaps, unless she looked back to the times when he was brave, and proved how amazing he truly was behind the cowardice.

Perhaps that was what interested her about him at first, instead of the original excuse of wanting to have fun with scaring him.

"I would suggest this tablet if your partner likes gaming," Jun suddenly said as she walked over and gave Jellymon a new and high-tech tablet. "If he works too, he can get a keyboard connected to the tablet and work on the go. Maybe he can even play games with some controllers. I can recommend some if you want."

"Wait, really!?" her eyes widened. 

She nodded with a smile, "I work with electronics. This is what I specialise in." 

"Aside from locking yourself in your room you mean," Luno snarked as she adjusted her jacket. 

"Hey! I don't do that all the-" 

"Yes-" 

"-you-" 

"-do."

"Stop-" 

"-denying-" 

"-it." 

Jun's words were cut off by an eeriely fitting chorus Agumon and Shoutmon did  word for word.

"... How you two said that in perfect unison is beyond me, and honestly I don't think I want to know," Angoramon muttered, making Agumon snort as the dinosaur Digimon said, "It's not a Hologram Ghost making us do it, if that's what you want to know."

"You can never know," Angoramon darkly answered.

"Eh, I'm pretty sure. It's just that we know what the other is about to say because we've said it so many times."

Shoutmon nodded, "Jun's habit of doing it happens all the time. It's a wonder Aoi hasn't yelled."

"Because if Aoi tells her to stop, she'll stop. If it's us, she won't."

"Right."

Now Angoramon could only feel bad for them.

"Do you really think Darling will like this?" Jellymon cut in softly, a tone very unlike her as she looked at the tablet and the controllers now in her hands. Luno had helped with the controllers at least but... She still had her doubts.

A hand then made her turn to see Jun smiling while saying in a firm tone, "I don't think your partner is dumb enough to not see the effort you put into it. You're not hiding it and I'm sure he'll understand your feelings through this present."

At that, her eyes widened, but soon she wiped her tears away and scoffed, "O-Of course he will! I am THE great Jellymon after all!!"

Seeing this slight vulnerability was nice and all, but as Jellymon purchased the items and had them wrapped, Pumpmon looked at Gammamon and blinked, "You're not buying anything friend?"

"I am!" He confirmed.

"So what are you buying?“ Pumpmon asked back.

Gammamon froze right there.

Welp here we go! Some humour, and a cliffhanger! A reference to episode 5 and 10 too, where Kiyoshiro has shown bravery and Jellymon is shown to admire that side of him!! Hope you enjoy it!
