Orangusnake was completely baffled now. What was going on now? Why was his mortal enemy here?

Mao Mao slid to sit on the sofa, eyes never leaving him. If anything, the sky pirate thought that he looked a bit tired.

Strange..... He rarely looked that way.

"Is...." Orangusnake faltered for a while. "Is everything alright?"

"I-I'm fine," Mao Mao wheezed softly. 

He didn't look that way, though. He looked somewhat exhausted, now that he thought about it further.

"Then why did you kidnap me?" Deciding to change the subject, Orangusnake crossed his arms.

Mao Mao's reply stunned him.

"Because... Because I wanted to have dinner with you."

"E-Excuse me?" the captain rubbed his ears to make sure that he wasn't hearing this wrong. Dinner? With HIM? He who led the group who wanted to steal the Ruby Pure Heart?

"I-I don't know," the cat shrugged weakly. "l'm just confused. My heart told me to do this." 

Okay, the poor hybrid was confused now, "Your heart?" Since when did Mao Mao, the hero who wanted to be a legendary, listen to his heart? 

He nodded, "Y-Yeah..." while looking away. It was obvious that this was as confusing as it was. 

Orangusnake was not sure how to feel after hearing this, but after a while he just sighed, "I'm guessing you already have something ready?" 

Mao Mao's eyes widened, "Y-You're going to do it?" 

"I'm already here, so might as well," the captain drily replied. "Also, I'm quite starving. You should have something good, I hope." 

The hero's eyes sparkled, "O-Of course! Right this way!" 

With that, the two left the room, the cat leading the hybrid.
