"You okay, kero?"

"H-Huh? O-Oh Tsuyu," he greeted her as she sat beside him on a bench outside. "W-What's up?" 

"You seemed scared of Bakugou, kero." 

"O-Oh, t-that," he looked down. "I-I don't like talking about it....." 

At that Tsuyu frowned slightly. It felt like trauma, but at the same time, she didn't want to pry. 

However.... "You can tell me, kero." 

"H-Huh?" He looked at her. 

She sighed, "You can't keep it down kero. It's not good for you, kero."

"That is true..." he mumbled. "B-But can you handle it?" 

"Hey, we're friends, kero. And plus, I would let you know if I couldn't, kero.' 

Hearing that, he chuckled slightly, "Y-You have a point.... O-Okay then, I-I'll tell you." 

And tell her he did. About his dad, the abuse, and the lack of support in his household. How Bakugo's explosive personality reminded him too much of his dad, and why he always got a shiver down his spine when he was talking to him. 

Tsuyu audibly winced. She suddenly felt bad for bringing it up. "I'm sorry for bringing it up, kero. I hadn't known that you had been abused, kero."

"N-nah it's okay. I-I'm feeling a bit better with that off my chest," he admitted with a small blush. 

"I-It's okay kero. I-I'm glad I could help kero," she blushed. "I-I care for you, Kenzo, kero. I-I don't want to see you hurting." 

"R-Really?" 

"Y-Yeah kero, s-so... C-Can I kiss you, t-to try to ease the pain kero?" 

"W-Wha-" 

Before he could say anything, Tsuyu leaned forward and gave him a small kiss.

When she moved away, her face blushing, Kenzo was a total mess. What had just happened?

Did that mean that she liked him back?! 

"I-I love you, Tsuyu!" he suddenly blurted out, and immediately looked away, flushing so hard he was a total tomato. 

Seeing this, she giggled quietly, but said, "I-I love you too, k-kero." 

That was all the confirmation he needed, and he hugged her tight, relieved to have found someone to love. 

That day, the two made a silent promise; to always be there for each other and stay strong with the other as a foundation.
