He stood in front of the door, twiddling his fingers as he tried to calm his beating heart. He could do this. It wasn't scary at all. It was okay. 

Kenzo wasn't the best person when it came to new places, and U.A. High was definitely that. He was a fish out of water here, and it felt weird and scary and unfamiliar.

He took in a deep breath. He couldn't be overwhelmed this way. He wouldn't.

He grabbed the doorknob, inhaled, and twisted it. 

"Oh, another student!" 

"Hi there!"

"Greetings! Are you a fellow student?" 

"Y-Yeah," he nodded, the self-consciousness overwhelming him in less than a second as he went back to looking at the floor. 

The green-haired male smiled, "Don't be shy. I'm Midoriya Izuku!" 

"I'm Uraraka Ochako!" 

"I am Iida Tenya! It's a pleasure to meet you!"

"C-Chikara Kenzo," he shyly answered. "N-Nice to meet you!" 

"Likewise!" Izuku cheerfully replied. 

Kenzo's eyes then began to wander as he walked deeper into the class, noting the many people in the class, from the scary-looking guy who reminded him of his dad (shiver) to the tall male with more than one pair of arms, before they landed on a dark-green-haired female with a blank face. 

His face flushed up out of nowhere. She seemed like a nice person, so maybe they could be friends?

Gathering up the courage he had inside, he slowly walked over to the person. 

She noticed halfway, and tilted her head, "Kero? Who are you?" 

"I-I'm Chikara Kenzo," he stammered, trying to hide how red he was feeling. "I-I thought you would be a nice friend, s-so I... I-I wanted to try to talk to you." 

At that, her face flushed, "Even though I look weird, Kero?" 

"Y-You seem kind..." 

"T-Thanks, kero..." a scarlet hue overtook her entire face. He was cute, she supposed. "I-I'm Asui Tsuyu!" 

"N-Nice to meet you then!" he smiled. 

She smiled back at him, feeling happy that she had made her first friend. 

The first seeds of love were planted between them that fateful day, and it was only destined to grow more.
