After some twists and turns, they finally reached a large door at the end of the huge hallway they had used. 

"I think our mentors might be behind this door!" Adorabat whispered excitedly to the lamb. Her gut feeling was telling her so, and Badgerclops had taught her to believe in her gut instincts sometimes. This seemed like a good time to use it. 

Bella grinned slightly hearing this, "Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's open it up!" Truth be told, she was still a bit sore and annoyed from falling, but the prospect of reuniting with the Sky Pirates brought her energy back. 

"Alrighty!" Adorabat moved to the door, and tried to push it open.....

There was silence as the young bat tried and tried again, but only failing again and again. She didn't want to disappoint Bella! She couldn't! She owed her! 

But her efforts were proven futile and vain, so she turned around and looked down, "I think... It's locked." 

The lamb's eyes twitched hearing that. She had to be joking! Right when they were so... SO close to saving their mentors, it had to be stopped by a stupid door! 

"Out of the way!" she roughly pushed the bat aside and threw her shoulder at the door, only to rub her shoulder a few seconds later, "Yeow...." 

"Let's keep trying," Adorabat suggested to the lamb, who just nodded. 

However, no matter how much they tried, they just couldn't seem to get it open. This exhausted them to the point of having to give up and accept defeat. 

"Gosh! This is so stupid!" Bella grumbled as she and Adorabat sat in front of the door. 

"Yeah..." the bat nodded. She couldn't believe that this was actually happening! Just when they were so close! She HAD to rescue them! She HAD to make sure they were safe-

Wait... 

The bat stopped. 

Safe? 

Didn't they usually have passwords? 

Her eyes widened in shock. Of course! How could she not see that?!

"I think I got it Bella!" she shot up. "Maybe we can ask the door for a clue! It might use a password!" 

When she looked to her partner, though, she realised too late that Bella was annoyed. Like, LEGIT annoyed. 

"Ohhh, yeah," she sarcastically rolled her eyes. "So you're basically saying that a super tall guy in a long cloak who has a HUGE lair underground, a super powerful yet delusional girlfriend with a golden robot arm, AND has kidnapped FOUR Sky Pirates AND TWO powerful sheriffs HAS A PASSWORD!" 

"W-Well, it's always possible-" 

But Bella was already on a sass rant, "Oh, so what is it? I'm sure that it's SUPPERRRRR SIMPLE! WHAT DO YOU THINK IT IS?! OPEN SESAME?!" 

TING!

The two froze, eyes moving to look at the door as it swung open to them, getting up to try to squint into the darkness beyond. 

Adorabat then looked pointedly at the lamb, who just groaned, "I hate you at times." 

"Don't worry. Even if we're friends, you're still way too salty for my taste." 

THAT elicited a small snicker from the lamb, a grin slowly spreading through her face, "My thoughts exactly. Let's head in now, Watson." 

"As always, Sherlock." 

With that, they bravely stepped into the pitch black room, ready to save their mentors.
