So much blood trickled down... It terrified those spectating this event....

Screams of terror, of fear, of sadness... They all echoed throughout the city, yet drowned out by the banter and chatter one would hear on a normal day. Only a few others were aware, but they either didn't care, took photos with no remorse, or were helping the victims.

Sirens sounded out, squashing the fruits that had been soaked in blood, rolling away as the so-called lifesavers finally arrived. So many people lay dead.

But in the wilderness...

Someone...

No, someTHING....

SOMETHING awoke.

Feeling the life seeping out of the dead corpses, it roused, its bones releasing the strain of not moving for centuries.

It could sense the blood trickling to the ground.

And that brought a chuckle out.

A deep, nasal chuckle ripped through the dusty air, blowing the dirt away.

The time for its debut was soon.

Soon, his cramped coffin will be broken.

Soon, he would be free.

All he had to do.....

Was wait a bit more.

Then....

It would ravage.

It would be free to see a whole new world at long last.
