Operation: Steal His Heart, Day One
"What on Earth are you wearing, sweetie?"
"I don't understand, Mother. Don't I have to dress up when I want to impress?"
"Yes... Yes, you do, Cyber, but for crying out loud, don't use your tuxedo when you want to go out for a HANGOUT!" Willow had to hold herself before she facepalmed in front of her genius son.
Yes, he was a genius.
But he was oblivious to the thing one called CASUAL CLOTHING DURING A HANGOUT.
"I want to impress Badgerclops, though," he frowned.
"Just... Go change to your normal clothing, sweetie," she sighed in exasperation.
He just nodded obediently before walking back to his room, leaving Willow to facepalm all she wanted.
An hour later found him arriving at the spot he and Badgerclops had arranged to meet at after his memories of Cyber's fangs were erased, watching the grandfather clock in a shop nearby as it ticked perpetually, giving the usually active vampire a drowsy feeling.
"Hey, sorry for making you wait," a familiar voice got the drowsy feeling kicked out as Badgerclops arrived.
"H-Hi Badgerclops!" the wolf stuttered at once, blushing all the while.
The badger just laughed a bit, "No need to be so nervous. We're just hanging out, remember?"
"Y-Yeah," he smiled in reply. "W-Where do you want to go, anyway?"
"Maybe the forest?"
"Sounds like a plan. Let's go!"
Badgerclops smiled before he grabbed Cyber's hand, turning him into a tomato, and dragged him away.
The two soon found themselves lying on the wet grass as they stared at the stars twinkling above, lighting the sky with hope and dreams.
"This is really awesome," Badgerclops smiled sincerely. "Where did you find this place, dude?"
"I found it a few months back," Cyber replied, recalling when he and his siblings had found this place. "I like stargazing here all the time. I find it really relaxing."
"That's awesome, dude!"
He blushed, "A-Ah... A-Anyway, I-I want to ask you something."
"Sure. Shoot away!"
"W-What do you think of me-"
RING!
"Ah, sorry, Cy! I have to run! Mao Mao will have my head if I don't!" the badger got up, bowing in apology.
"I-It's fine," Cyber waved it off shakily.
The badger sighed in relief before waving as he ran off, leaving Cyber there.
