Love Festival at the Shrine Part 4
"Oh, Natsume, Keisuke, over here!" Akinori waved the 2 over as the siblings went their way. Natsume and Keisuke both waved back with smiles, only to be hugged by Ayame. Natsume just giggled, while Keisuke had a grin on his face.
Touma and Kenji were both blushing at their dates for sure now.
Why?
Well, Keisuke had opted to go for something different, so Kenji was sputtering seeing him in a red jacket, light orange shirt, and black shorts that complimented the necklace around his neck, where the promise ring he and Kenji had hung.
Meanwhile, Natsume went for a regal red kimono that reached her ankles, and had tied her hair up in a bun that was similar to Shuka's, making it really obvious why she was her reincarnation. Touma was choking on how beautiful she looked.
On the other hand, though, the siblings felt the same way.
Kenji had gone for a black yukata with skull designs, and his own ring was shown on his right ring finger, which really matched him well. No wonder Keisuke was trying to forgo outright hugging him.
Touma usually didn't go out for festivals much, like Keisuke, so he had put on a dark blue jacket, black shirt, and his normal jeans.
However, Kenji had dragged Touma to the department store to get something new.
That's how Touma ended up wearing a light blue shirt with dark blue jeans plus a navy blue jacket.
Akinori and Ayame were no exceptions to the unspoken dress-up rule. Akinori was wearing his usual winter outfit, but with the jacket tied around his waist, while Ayame had a pink yukata on that ended at her knees, plus light pink leggings and her hair up in a bun as well.
The 6 members of the group soon went back to their respective dates so they could start looking around the festival. As they walked, Kenji leaned in to Keisuke and whispered, "You look amazing, Kei-chan."
Keisuke just blushed lightly as he replied, "It's nothing much, Ken-chan. You look better than me."
"As if. Where on Earth did you get the shirt and jacket, though?" Kenji tilted his head in curiosity.
"Dad dug it up in his closet a few days back, and I just thought it looked good," Keisuke shrugged his shoulders.
Kenji giggled, "Like father like son, I see."
Keisuke went red in 5 seconds flat, "K-Ken-chan!"
The other 4 just grinned seeing this display of affection from the two younger boys before they proceeded to walk around the festival.
And it was really fun, to be honest. The group learnt that Touma loved catching goldfish to take home as pets, Ayame rocked the arcade games, Kenji was a master of darts, Natsume's skills with the can game was unrivalled, Akinori was adept in choosing the right choice, and Keisuke was a crane machine king. By the time the group had finished, the clock had neared 9 p.m., signalling that they should be heading home soon.
"That was really fun!" Natsume cheered.
Ayame nodded with a cute smile, "We should do it more often!"
"We should, indeed!" Kenji agreed.
"I'll tell Baabaa that then!" Akinori grinned.
"That'll be great," Touma smiled.
"Gives us more reason to drag a certain someone out of the house," At that, Natsume and Kenji both gave their brother/boyfriend the stink eye.
Keisuke sweat-dropped seeing that, "I don't do mangas all the time, Neechan, Ken-chan. I still do homework and all that."
"Hm," the two still gave him this unconvinced face, making Keisuke sweat-drop even harder.
"Anyway, we should head home now," Kenji smiled.
"True," Keisuke nodded.
"Well then, bye everyone!" Ayame waved, giving a quick kiss to Akinori before she started walking away.
Akinori went red in the face, sputtering and blushing like a mad man, causing Natsume and Touma to both giggle watching him before Touma and Kenji, who lived nearby, had to leave.
Kenji gave Keisuke a light peck on the cheek, telling him that he should head to bed ASAP once he got home, causing the other male to retort jokingly that he was EXHAUSTED; there was no way he would be able to work on his manga AT ALL once his body touched the bed. That satisfied Kenji enough to give him a little hug again before he walked away.
Touma, on the other hand, shyly told Natsume that he had liked their first date, and would be looking forward to their next one. Natsume's face had been red as she agreed to that and promised to set up another date between them. That had made Touma flare up as well, but with a smile to boot before he turned around to join Kenji.
After that, the siblings had waved goodbye to Akinori, who went in once they left to sleep.
It had been a long day for all of them, but they still had fun.
