Hero School Showdowns, Part Seven
"This time, we're doing something slightly different," Ben smiled as he took out a HUGE color wheel, with some daggers attached to it. "Class 1A, please use these daggers to hit a random color on this wheel."
The silence that followed was awkward, and Katsuma spoke up after a while, "What?"
"Huh?" Kota's face was the epitome of confusion.
"But I thought-" James blinked.
"Well, I had this ready because our agreement with the school was that they would choose how our members would pick, and we would choose how you guys would pick. It's also a showcase of your Quirks to even the playing field," he explained.
"This is really a waste of time," Chiaki groaned.
"Gotta agree with that," Taesan munched on a chocolate bar as he agreed with his upperclassman.
"You would rather be bonding with Swapped Positions Uju, no?" Fubuki teased.
"A-A bit," he flushed.
"Uju's the same way; he wants to see FC Keisuke so badly~" Jihae added.
"J-JIHAE AAAA!" the crimson-eyed male turned into a tomato.
"Well, there's nothing wrong with that," Gyeongpo shrugged. "But either way, this will be fun, guys."
"Seeing Quirks in real life can help us try to figure out how to counteract them," Sachiko said as she and the others, with some new faces joined them. "We do deal with a million enemies, so it'll help a lot."
"Point taken," Noeul shrugged.
Kenji laughed as he added, "This will be quite interesting."
"Indeed," a brunette male with blue eyes chuckled.
The thirteen members of Class 1A then blinked as they finally realized the presence of the group of newcomers.
"Erm, excuse me, who are you?" Rōzu asked them.
"Oh, I'm Shinomachi Shin, and this is my twin, Inamori Asuto!" the purple-haired male smiled, light blue eyes alight with happiness. "Then there's Takashiro Itsuki, Arihoshi Tae, Haizaki Ryouhei, and Nosaka Yuuma!"
"Nice to meet you all, then!" Kokoro cheerfully greeted them.
"Likewise," Tae smiled.
Ben coughed, bringing them back to their current task as he quickly hung it on a wall, using a peg to keep it hanging, "Alright it's done. Who wants to go first?"
The class looked at each other, and they scooted away from the wheel. None of them wanted to try. It was a bit scary.
"I'm guessing you guys are shy," he hummed.
"I think they're scared of you," Sarah deadpanned, followed by the nods of the others.
"You did kinda curse and threaten to murder them," Kuuka reminded him.
At that, Ben blushed as he said, "I didn't mean it. The nightmares really got to me."
"You're such a baby. You know that right?" Sarah smirked.
"Technically you are too," Sinae smiled.
At her affronted face, the twin-drill-haired girl quickly tried to explain, "Because Fubuki and I consider you that."
Sarah's face immediately turned into a multitude of red, even stammering, "W-Well, if that's what you think..."
"Nice one," Yuujin cackled.
"S-Shut up!"
The atmosphere having lightened up, Kokoro decided to try his hand at it, so he walked over and picked up a dagger. Once he was stationed in front of it, he closed his eyes and recalled when Yuujin had done it before.*
Using the aim he had trained for years, he threw the dagger and watched it soar across the field before embedding itself on the bullseye mark too.
"Woah, that is awesome!" Ben clapped, seriously impressed by this kid.
"I'm sure all of us could do that, though," Tamashiro crossed his arms, not ready to give in.
"Well, he was the first one to step up, so we're going to let you know who he got. Red means Jinpei!"
"WAIT WHAT?!" Jinpei gaped.
"According to hair colour? Nice one," Yuuma smiled. "This is getting interesting."
"It wasn't interesting before?" Ryouhei facepalmed.
"Well, I see where you're coming from," the green-haired male who looked like Jinpei's double, Ashiya Lime, chuckled. "But I doubt it's only on hair colour."
"That's correct," Ben admitted. "We did it based on a lot of things."
"But either way, you guys should hurry up and throw," Yuujin's eyes had a twinkle to them as he continued, "After all, we have a game to start, don't you think?"
