Hero School Showdowns, Part Fourteen
"Well, I guess this is it," Ben adjusted his backpack while smiling slightly at the kids. "It was nice hanging out with you all, but we have to go back now."
"Yeah, let's go before those cheerleaders come back."
"Sarah, you enjoyed that."
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
"Guys," Yuujin facepalmed.
"I swear this is too much," Touma exhaled. "Why do we deal with this?"
"The reason you always do things with us; because you love us!" Natsume cackled.
"Agreed!" Akinori laughed.
"I do apologise for them. They've gone crazy from dealing with too many supernatural problems," Ayame bowed towards the high school kids.
"HEY!"
"It's no problem. We're all crazy here," Kota shrugged.
"Just don't forget to visit!" Tamashiro waved, a soft smile on his face.
Kokoro, who was nearby, flushed slightly upon seeing this, which did not go unnoticed by the others.
"Did you see that?" the glint in Yui's eyes was very clear.
"Of course I saw it. I'm totally telling Satoshi and Kokoci-nii when we get back!" Yuujin cackled.
"I'm not even surprised Fic-kuma did this. Quee always believed that someone should have a lover," Keisuke hummed.
"Point taken," Terumi chuckled. "But anyhow, we should head back now. Let's go."
"Great idea!" Sinae sounded WAY too enthusiastic about leaving. Probably because she wanted to get Sarah out of there ASAP.
"Sounds like a great plan!" Fubuki agreed. She had the same sentiment, it seemed.
"Alright then," Ranto turned away, having had a quick chat with Eri and Kota after talking with Tamashiro. "We shouldn't waste our time. We still have to deal with Error eventually."
"Yeah," Jinpei nodded. "But we should totally come back here for some more fun! And bring the demons along as well."
"That would be messy on its own right because we all know how crazy they can get, but oh well, I guess maybe? Might as well crank the craziness up a notch," Yuujin shrugged.
"I love you so much Yuujin. I think I could kiss you for real," Akinori smirked.
"No thanks, Kinori. I would be facing your sister's wrath, which is one thing I wish to avoid," he shook his head.
"Awww, come on!"
"Noooo!"
The others could only laugh before they slowly walked away, leaving the kids to head back to school.
Yet Ranto's words stuck to Eri and Kota.
"You can't judge a book by its cover. Just because someone seems arrogant doesn't mean he's not a good person. If you judge people like that, that makes you the bad person in the story. You should try to avoid that."
That was something that was bound to be on their minds for a while, but let's hope they understand his underlying meaning.
