The sounds of skin being cut echoes in my house every afternoon and night.

Everyday, it's like this. Ray, the name given to myself, a rotten fleshbag who is only a waste of space, cuts herself everyday. The pain that starts when I get up to before I fall asleep makes me hope, ever so valiantly, to die. Sadly, that was not to be. I still wake up to the sound of my alarm. 

It descended on me when I turned fourteen, and it hadn't left. 

Until I met him. 

The person who saved me from my darkness. 

Aaron, who approached me and gave me hope. He helped me, even though I had attempted to kill myself once, and I had no friends. 

Our relationship grew deeper, and for the first time since the depression began, I started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. 

I was happy. I was starting to love myself. 

But then, it all came crashing down on me.

One day, he just came up to me, and said, "We need to break up." 

He had always been honest. Unable to beat around the bush. 

Yet those words destroyed the little happiness I had accumulated over the course of our relationship. 

Of course he wouldn't want to pursue a relationship with me. Despite all his words, I was still the rotten fleshbag I had been when I first met him. 

It made so much sense, I hadn't questioned it. 

Instead, with the heartbroken tears streaming down my cheeks, I smiled and said, "Thank you for helping me realise my true worth." 

Then, I walked away, ignoring the pleas for me to come back. 

I knew what to do now. Drastic, but I was ready for it. 

No one could love me, so why burden them with the impossible task of it? 

I'm better off dead.

One day she meets a boy who helps her almost overcome her depression. They take their relationship further. She started to love herself gradually but one day the boy came and broke up with her. The girl lets her tears fall but instead of asking why he broke up her she thanks him.She again tries to commit suicide but that same boy comes and saves her and they get back again.
