Bittersweet Confessions, Part Two: Comfort in the Most Unexpected Place

Leon didn't know what to do.

Standing in front of her, he was shocked and stunned. His friend.... was an enemy...

He was frozen. What should he do? Fight her?

But he couldn't fight his crush, could he?...

... No, he couldn't.

He wouldn't.

Despite everything, Leon wanted to believe in the best for Keemia.

So, without thinking, he went to his knees and hugged her.

Feeling the warmth, Keemia was surprised at first. Even if she was a villain, an enemy... He was hugging her?

But she also knew that Leon was the kindest person she had ever met. He had been her friend, without caring about what others thought of it. He had endured so much for her.

This was a friendship she treasured to the end of the world, whether she said it aloud or not.

Keemia hugged back, knowing that it was the only thing she could do in reply.

All this time, she had been holding it in alone. She had been worried that Leon would not accept her after finding out about her secret identity.

But now, he had found out, and he still accepted her.

This was truly the person she had fallen in love with.

"I love you...." she mumbled, sinking into his costume. For once, she felt safe, secure. That's how she was able to let her feelings out.

Leon's eyes widened upon hearing that, but he soon blushed and hugged her back as he said, "I-I love you too. Forever and always."

They stayed in that position, knowing that no matter what, they still loved each other.

Sometimes, fighting isn't needed. Sometimes, all one needs is hugging and comfort, because one can never know the battles the other has been through.

OcarinaDude13 I hope it's good enough.
