"Come on, Kasumi! Let's get going!" 

That energetic voice made the Pixie look away from the view to the boy in front of her, grinning as he looked at her. Kasumi blinked. 

"But we've just arrived here, Genki," Kasumi pointed out. "This place is the best stop so far." 

"Sitting down like that won't help!" Genki shot back. "You have do some exercise to warm your body up!" 

"I'm not in much need for it," Kasumi shook her head. "Fresh air is much better than exercise for a Pixie like me." 

Genki grinned a bit, "Is that really the reason?" 

"H-Huh? Of course it is. Why wouldn't it be?" she looked confused.

"Cause you were looking at Ham," he laughed out loud seeing her face turn into a tomato. 

"N-No I wasn't!" she fervently denied. 

"Your face says another story, though," Holly giggled as she joined the two, finding Kasumi's even redder face cute. 

"Just admit it already, Kasumi! Even Suezo knows, and he's super dense!" Genki sang out. 

At that, Holly chuckled, "No doubt about that." 

"W-What if I do, then?!" Kasumi pouted at the duo, trying to seem threatening, but she just ended up looking even more adorable.

"Just confess to him!" the two chorused in response. 

"W-WHAT?!" the monster looked ready to bury herself in a hole and stay there for a long time due to the sudden interrogation she was getting from the two humans.

"We're nearing his ex-crush's place soon, and he might just consider staying this time," Holly explained to her. 

That cut her embarrassment short.

"Y-You gotta be joking...." she stuttered, her eyes wide now. 

"We're not," Genki shook his head. "Hear that church bell in the distance?" 

Kasumi nodded. She could hear it ring throughout the air, calling for children and teens alike. 

"That's where Vasia Hoppy, his ex-crush, lives," Genki admitted. "They have a mutual love sort of thing going on between them." 

"So you should make your move fast, Kasumi," Holly advised. "Before it's too late." 

"I-I know that... But...." Kasumi looked up at the sky. "W-What if he rejects me?" 

"He won't," Holly smiled. "I know Ham." 

"Yeah, don't give up so easily, Kasumi!" Genki cheered. "Just try your best! I'm sure you won't be disappointed!" 

"R-Really?" Kasumi looked up to the two once more. 

Holly just nodded with a smile, while Genki grinned, his usual energy spreading to Kasumi as well. 

The Pixie closed her eyes slightly before opening them, a smile forming on her lips, "Thanks you guys. I'll do that."

"It's no problem!" Genki smiled. "Just glad that you're on your feet again!" 

Holly smiled too, "You can go now, if you want. Rygar and the others will know." 

"Great idea," Kasumi grinned at them softly, getting up and stretching a bit to get the stiffness out of her bones before she turned back to the campsite so she could go to Ham-

Out of nowhere, a painful sting embedded itself into Kasumi's neck, causing a guttural scream to  explode from her throat as her knees buckled to the ground. A pounding headache began in her head. Sweat and tears fell to the ground. The pain was truly unbearable. 

"KASUMI!" Genki and Holly rushed to help her, worry clear in their eyes. The others, attracted by the noise, came over to see what was happening, and their eyes widened seeing the source. 

"Kasumi-chi!" Mocchi "chi"d out in alarm. 

"What happened?!" Golem demanded towards the two humans. 

"W-We don't know!" Genki looked down. "S-She just suddenly started screaming..." 

Rygar sniffed the air, trying to find the source of her pain, while Suezo hopped forward to check her. Ham couldn't move at all, though, which was unusual, seeing that he rarely froze up. 

"Are you okay, chi?" Mocchi noticed his fear and asked, feeling worried for him.

"I-It's nothing..." Ham softly replied. "I-I'm just... Worried..." 

"For Kasumi, chi?" Mocchi asked again.

Ham just nodded. 

"It's okay, chi! Kasumi will be fine, chi!" Mocchi smiled, innocent hope shining away from him to infect Ham too. 

Ham's eyes widened, before they softened, "Yeah, you're right. I should believe in her-" 

Just then, a "LIGHTNING!" sounded out, and Rygar shouted in pain as he was blasted back, causing everyone's head to swivel over to look at Kasumi, eyes wide in shock. 

"K-Kasumi?..." Genki inquired, a bit of fear sensed in his tone. 

When Kasumi looked up, though, Ham's fear escalated.

For her eyes were red. 

Blood red. 

"Must.... Destroy you.... In Orion-sama's name...."

Those words shook him to the core.
