She had to. 

She knew that she couldn't stay here. This place was dangerous.... 

Especially with HER around. 

Just THINKING about her made shivers go down her spine, teal eyes scanning her surroundings, as if SHE would pop out of nowhere.

Please, I'm begging you.... Please don't show up.... If our friendship before meant anything to you..... Please... she mentally prayed, desperately hoping for her safety as she ran with all her might, her pale hands hugging the book she had tightly. 

She wasn't the type to pray, honestly, but desperate times called for desperate measures. 

Especially when SHE was concerned. 

SHE would take pleasure in torturing her, not showing any mercy to her at all... 

SHE would laugh as her snake-like eyes bored into hers, trying to torture every single detail about the resistance from her....

SHE would kill her slowly but surely, burning her until there was only her skeleton left.....

SHE would make sure that she would never see daylight. 

EVER. AGAIN.

That just fuelled her even more as her speed quickened, not caring if she stumbled or not. All she cared about was getting the book to the resistance...

The book that could end their enemy...

The book that could save the world from further destruction.....

She couldn't fail her mission. 

She HAD to complete it.

"Well, well, well, won't you look at what the cat brought in?" 

That voice... That voice terrified her.... It scared her beyond her imagination as she turned to look at the speaker, trying to keep a brave façade when she just felt even more scared. 

"Hey here, Tecna~ Nice to see you here~" the speaker hummed, a cruel tone already gracing her tone. 

"B-Bloom- no, Dark Bloom...." Tecna stuttered, unable to move due to her fear.
