Jungkook reminisced Taehyung's message (which he had mistakenly sent to Yoongi instead of Hoseok) as he watched the older sitting on a chair while being extremely intoxicated.

Smashed bottles, broken glasses were lying all around him. Taehyung was drowning himself in alcohol. His eyes were puffy and his whole face was red.

This scene looks familiar, doesn't it?

Yes, it does. When Jungkook found Taehyung crying in the washroom after the interview, this was similar to that moment. In both the cases, Taehyung was heart broken.

"Tae!" Jungkook almost cried. He rushed to embrace the older only to be pushed hard.

"Who are you?" Taehyung yelled.

"Tae? Let's go to your room okay?" Jungkook softly mumbled.

"No why would I go with you? I love someone else." Taehyung slurred.

"And I'm that person, love!" Jungkook grabbed Taehyung's arms.

"You?" Taehyung giggled, "But I hate you as well."

"I know, we'll talk when you are sober. For now," Jungkook lifted Taehyung in his arms, "let's go!"

Jungkook carried Taehyung to his bedroom while the older kept mumbling incoherent words. As they reached the room, Jungkook carefully placed him the bed.

He grabbed a seat besides the older and began to caress his locks.

"You don't love me." Taehyung abruptly stated.

"I do." Jungkook immediately retorted.

"So why did you leave me alone on the date?" Taehyung sulked while wiggling himself to get up and sit against Jungkook.

"You wanted the same." Jungkook hesitantly muttered.

Taehyung yanked Jungkook's hand from himself, "You always blame me for your mistakes. I hate you!!"

"I- I'm sorry Tae, I myself need to figure out what happened. For that you need to be sober."

"I'm sober." Taehyung pecked Jungkook's lips.

"No you aren't. You need to sleep right now." Jungkook laid Taehyung on the bed again.

He himself laid besides Taehyung and wrapped his arms around him while pulling him closer.

Taehyung stated deep into the younger's orbs, "Kook, no matter how much I love you, I'll always hate you!"

Jungkook sighed, "Sleep." He caressed the older's cheeks while Taehyung drifted into the dreamland.

Jungkook carefully got up from the bed and pulled out his phone. He tapped a contact number and made a phone call.

"Hello, Hoseok hyung, sorry to disturb you at this hour but can you come to Tae's place right now?"

"What happened, is everything alright?"

"Not really. Please don't inform anyone else."

"I'll be there in 10 minutes."

"Thankyou!" Jungkook hung up the phone call and waited for Hoseok to arrive. The doorbell ringed and Jungkook opened the door.

"What happened Jungkook?" Hoseok worried while walking in.

Jungkook sighed and informed everything to Hoseok from the beginning to the end.

"He wanted it himself but I really don't know what's happening right now." Jungkook scoffed.

"SHUT UP JUNGKOOK!!" Hoseok yelled, "Do you even know what the fuck you did?"

Jungkook was startled.

"He wasn't talking about you that day. For god's sake he loves you. He never told me but that's visible." Hoseok massaged his temples.

Flashback

"Why are you worried Tae? For the date?" Hoseok asked after they finished their practice.

"Yes, for the date but not the one with Jungkook." Taehyung sighed.

"Then?"

"The place where I lived previously, I had a neighbour. When I was new, he genuinely helped me a lot but now he's creeping me out even though I left the locality. He wants me to go on a date with him. I denied him several times but that annoying piece of shit!!" Taehyung exclaimed.

"You may talk to Jungkook over this." Hoseok suggested.

"He'll pick up a fight with him."

Hoseok cackled, "So what have you planned?"

"I don't want to go on the date hyung."

Hoseok sighed, "Then why did you agree?"

"Because I've a plan. If I would have politely disagreed to his proposal, he would definitely bother me in the future again." Taehyung scoffed, "I'll ditch him on the date and then text him about how much I hate him. He helped me once, doesn't mean I owe him my whole life."

"But don't you think that you are going way too far Tae? I mean what's his fault?" Hoseok reasoned.

"I don't know. It's just I don't want my life to be messed up. This plan will end this chapter at once." Taehyung smirked, "Anyways I'm coming in a while."

"Where?" Hoseok questioned.

"To the restroom, can I teacher?" Taehyung giggled.

"Shut up Tae!" Hoseok rolled his eyes. After Taehyung disappeared, his eyes trailed back to Jungkook standing against the door, blankly.

Present

Jungkook was taken aback. He fell on the couch behind him, "H-hyung."

Hoseok sighed and sat besides Jungkook while patting his back, "You've hurt him Jungkook."

"A lot." Tears made thier way through Jungkook's cheeks, "I-I- What did I do?!"

Hoseok embraced Jungkook while consoling him, "Don't cry bub! You can try. Try to get him back!"

Jungkook gathered himself, "I'm going back home. Hyung must be worried. Please take care of Tae."

"Of course I will." Hoseok nodded, "Drive safely and call me when you reach."

"WHAT?!" Yoongi yelled after hearing everything from Jungkook.

"I'm sorry hyung."

"No what will I do of your sorry? WHAT WILL I DO?!"

"I'll do anything to apologise to him." Jungkook hung his head low.

"Isn't it too late Jungkook?" Yoongi calmed himself up, "didn't I ask you to talk to him earlier over this? But you didn't. You didn't trust your own love."

Jungkook remained silent.

"Although it seems impossible but I hope Taehyung forgives you. You really made a huge mistake Jungkook." Yoongi caressed Jungkook's back.

The younger cried. He laid his head on Yoongi's lap and weeped all of his tears.

Yoongi couldn't help, he mumbled assuring words while trying to make Jungkook sleep.

"They were going on a date so why are we uploading this news?" Namjoon questioned when he, Jin, Hoseok, Jimin were gathered in Yoongi's cabin.

Yoongi hesitated, "They said that they need some time."

"Why do I feel like you're lying?" Jin pointed out.

"Right. You know something Yoon, tell us." Jimin frowned.

"Why are you all interrogating me? Hoseok knows it all as well, ask him." Yoongi snorted.

"Okay okay before you all run for me, I'll myself say it all." Hoseok began to narrate about what happened since the beginning.

"Jungkook is off to apologise Taehyung but I fear that Taehyung will forgive him." Yoongi sighed.

"And even if he agrees, I'll ask Tae to not to forgive him." Jimin clenched his palms into a fist.

"Calm down Jimin, we don't have a say in this. It depends on them of how they sort it out." Jin stated.

"Let's hope for the good." Namjoon prayed.

Jungkook stepped into Taehyung's cabin. The older immediately got up and bowed. He greeted Jungkook formally, "Good morning Mr. Jeon. How may I help you?"

"Tae? You need not to bow for me. And please, call me by my usual name." Jungkook's tone was soft.

"No Mr. Jeon, you're my boss." Taehyung retorted, "I'm obliged to do this whether you deserve it or not. Oh I'm so sorry, sir, it just slipped out of my mouth. I'm sorry."

"Tae-"

"No I'm genuinely sorry Mr. Jeon. I'll never repeat this mistake. I'll mind my words."

"Tae stop it!" Jungkook got slightly annoyed, "Will you?"

"Why?" Taehyung questioned, "Isn't this what you want?"

"No I don't want this." Jungkook stepped closer, "All I want is you to love me."

Taehyung clapped his hands twice, "Am I a joke to you?"

"No Tae, I'm genuinely saying this." Jungkook kneeled down in front of the older. He explained his misunderstanding as well as the scenario from last night, "I'm extremely sorry for what I did Tae. Please give me a chance to make you feel loved, I promise I'll not fail you this time."

Taehyung made the younger stand again and smiled, "It's okay Jungkook. I forgive you and I'm ready to reunite with you. Congratulations to YOUR relationship."

"Thank-" Jungkook paused, "Wait, mine? It's our relationship Tae."

"No how's it ours?" Taehyung reasoned, "You love me but you don't trust me. Next, you hurt me in every way possible. Then you apologise and everything is sorted. Everything depends on you Jungkook, so how's it supposed to be our relationship? Where am I?"

Jungkook hung his head, "I swear I'll change all of it."

"How will you?" Taehyung walked towards the window, "It's not the first time you did this. Last time Soohyun told you everything and this time Hoseok hyung but do you know what was the same? You didn't trust me, you thought so cheap of me and of course you humiliated me."

"I know, I know I did a huge mistake." Jungkook grabbed his locks, "All I need is a last chance."

"And now I don't trust you Jungkook. I bet it's not the last." Taehyung paused, "All I'll get in this relationship is humiliation and Kim Taehyung doesn't take insults. I'll never let my love surpass my self-esteem."

Jungkook fell speechless. What is even left to say? He was pretty sure Taehyung wasn't going to forgive him this time.

"The news has to be uploaded so Yoongi hyung has called us in his cabin." Jungkook blankly stated, "You've the last say."

"Let's go. This drama needs a full stop."

"They're here." Namjoon beamed as Jungkook and Taehyung stepped into Yoongi's cabin.

"Hyung when are we uploading the news?" Taehyung questioned.

"Now!" Yoongi mumbled while staring at a gloomy Jungkook.

"Tae!" Jimin whispered while grabbing Taehyung's arms, totally ignoring Jungkook, "Are you okay?"

"Of course I am." Taehyung chuckled.

"Well, what would be the reason?" Hoseok perked up.

"Honestly, I don't think we need to provide a reason." Jin scrunched his brows, "it's their personal life."

"That's true. It's not necessary to discuss their personal life on social media. Those 5% people are going to create a ruckus whether you provide a reason or not." Namjoon added.

"I know that's why I'm not inserting any particular reason for it. I'll just announce Taehyung's comeback news and that's it." Yoongi declared.

"You can add one more news hyung." Jungkook finally spoke, "About my departure to New York, for 6 months."

"Are you insane Jungkook?" Yoongi stared him in disbelief, "How will we hide you for 6 fucking months trying to pretend that you're in New York? That's totally impossible and what's even the point in doing this?"

"Hyung you got it wrong." Jungkook nodded, "I'm actually going to New York for 6 months."

"WHAT?!"

"Are you joking or something?" Yoongi stood up, "because you never liked out there plus why would you do this?"

"I just want to hyung." Jungkook retorted, "At those times, I wasn't into our business but now I am. I want to work there as well. I want to change my perspective about that place."

Liar. Taehyung thought to himself. He knew, he very well knew that Jungkook never wanted to go there again.

"But-" Yoongi was cut off by Jin, "Yoongi, you both probably need some privacy. Jungkook, take you him to your cabin or wherever you want. We'll wait here."

Jungkook nodded while Yoongi went along with him.

"Hyung believe me I really want to go there." Jungkook tried to assure.

"Why are you running away from the situations Jungkook?" Yoongi frowned, "As far as I know, you never give up."

"And I didn't give up. Hyung I'm not running away, I'm just giving us some time. We really need that." Jungkook inhaled deeply, "It would be easier to sort things out when I'll be back."

"And what if he chooses someone else for himself when you're gone?"

"It depends on him hyung, I don't have any say in this. My presence or absence doesn't matter in this case." Jungkook held Yoongi's hands, "Trust me hyung, I'll be fine there."

"But what about me? I'll not be fine here, without you." Yoongi's voice trembled, "6 months are a lot."

"I'll request Jimin hyung to live with you."

"And what? He is not your substitute Jungkook, you're different and he's different. Neither he can take your place in my life nor you can take his."

"I know hyung but please try to understand. This is necessary. I and Tae, need some time as well as some space."

Yoongi remained silent.

"Hyung?"

"I'll ask someone to book you tickets. When do you want to leave me, everyone and this place?"
