16 - Let Me Hear You Say

"Hyung please stop it!!" Jungkook yelled at the top of his lungs.

"What's wrong with you Jungkook? I can handle far more than this." Yoongi calmly stated.

"Isn't it ironic? You can handle litres of liquor but emotions and feelings hurt." Jungkook chuckled in disappointment.

"Not again Jungkook." Yoongi rolled his eyes.

"And what about you? Since 2 weeks you're drinking without any limit. You can tolerate a lot but your liver can't." Jungkook scoffed.

Yoongi remained silent.

"Hyung alcohol isn't the solution of your problem. Why can't you understand this simple thing?" The younger yelled again.

"So what? What am I supposed to do huh?"

"Accept that YOU LOVE HIM!!"

"I don't. I fucking don't."

"So what's the problem if he's dating Hoseok hyung?"

"I don't have any problem with that."

"Well I can see that. You know what hyung, you're just another version of dad. His homophobic thoughts-"

"I'm not homophobic Jungkook and you know that. I support you, I support Jin hyung and Namjoon as well. I produced so many homo dramas as well."

"But when it comes to you, you can't accept that. Hypocrite? Hyung please don't ruin yourself. For one single moment, what if Jimin and Hoseok hyung get involved in a serious relationship? Will you be happy?"

"I- I will." Yoongi muttered.

"Look into my eyes and say that with confidence, with that stern voice you always use."

Yoongi looked up, into Jungkook's eyes. And he realised, he can't lie anymore. The lie with which he was living for months or maybe years.

"I love him." Yoongi mumbled in a weak voice.

"Say that again!" Jungkook jumped.

"I LOVE HIM." Yoongi screamed, "But he's gone. He's with Hoseok now. He's dating some other person already. I'm late, I'm fucking late. And leave it Jungkook, I've already hurt him a lot. Hoseok is a nice guy, he'll treat him better."

"No hyung you aren't late. Those dates are fake."

"What?!" Yoongi was stunned.

"Yes. Jimin hyung doesn't know it as well. I planned it. I asked Hoseok hyung to ask Jimin hyung for friendly dates to make you realise your feelings."

"That's not right Jungkook, that's not right. What if Jimin had found his happiness in Hoseok? No no no no! This is wrong."

"Let it be wrong but this wrong made you accept your feelings. And Jimin hyung, he truly loves you. Now everything between you both, depends on you. All of us did our part. Now it's your turn." Jungkook smiled and left.

And days passed, just like that. Yoongi was frustrated. He knew his feelings but he still wasn't able to figure out about what to do. He couldn't organize his thoughts that were bothering him every now and then.

All this stuff wasn't his cup of tea. There were days when Yoongi would try to bring the discussion up with Jimin but would fail miserably and end up ordering some business stuff for him. He was being weird these days, at least this is what Jimin thought.

At a point of time, Yoongi even wished that Jimin would himself realize what he was trying to say. But again, how would the former understand if Yoongi would always end up like, 'Order some coffee for me, I've a hectic schedule settled up.'

This is what he has been doing everyday. No matter how much he had to say, how much he had to confess, how much he was bothered with Hoseok and Jimin going on 'friendly' dates even though he knew they were fake.

There's no way Jimin would really move on, right? Right?

No one can deny that anyone can fall for Hoseok. His humbleness, mood lifting capability and charming personality was enough to make Jimin forget the emptiness that had been offered by Yoongi since the beginning.

And if Jimin actually falls for Hoseok, it would be more complicated. No doubt, the fake date plan was a complete injustice for Jimin. And now the only one responsible to sort things out was Min Yoongi himself.

"How are your dates with Hoseok going?"

"That was so abrupt hyung." Jimin couldn't help but point out as they were literally in the middle of a business discussion.

"I think we needed a break so I asked bit nevermind." Yoongi shrugged.

"It's going good." Jimin answered, "He's nice, we already know that though. And it's a matter of fact, he's a happy pill. No matter how much I don't want to go on date, my mood is always lit up without any regrets after I return from the date."

And here am I, always made you regret loving me.

"But why don't you wanna go on the dates though?" Yoongi immediately questioned.

Flashback

"What have I done, fuck! What have I done!!" Jimin cursed himself when he received a text message from Hoseok about the information in context of their date to be held this evening.

"Hyung, what say?" Jungkook asked Yoongi.

"I think it's his decision. How does that concern me?" Yoongi stated nonchalantly.

"Right. Why would it concern him?" Jimin grabbed his hairs out of frustration, "Loving him is not a sin, why should I suffer for this? Why?!"

Jimin inhaled and exhaled for 5 minutes straight, calming himself and his thoughts.

"Umm Jimin don't mind okay? I was asking about a friendly date and to look if it works out. Nothing serious and what would got wrong if if it works out?"

"Yes, what could go wrong?" Jimin mumbled to himself reminisced Hoseok's words, "Park Jimin, get yourself ready for the date. Give yourself a chance."

With the final assurance, he got ready. Time elapsed and he was finally seated in a theme park on a date organized by Hoseok.

"Thank you hyung!" Jimin smiled.

"It's alright. Feel free to tell me if you are uncomfortable or something." Hoseok grinned.

"How can someone be uncomfortable around you hyung?" Jimin ruffled his hairs.

"Thank you for the compliment but I know, no matter since how long we're friends, this date word makes it awkward." Hoseok chuckled, "So to simplify it, let's just say that we're best friends hanging out together in this theme park because all of our other fellas ditched us for the plan."

"That's way more easier." Jimin remarked.

And it went on, quite joyful. There wasn't a single moment when they weren't laughing. The flow was smooth, nothing fake, nothing awkward. Jimin could swear that the vibes around Hoseok made him forget about the slight darkness he held in the corner of his heart.

Yes, he wasn't ready to date anyone except for one man but did this count? He was enjoying the present moment of his life. No one knows what the future holds and honestly speaking, no one even cares. At least the expected person doesn't right?

Present

"I-" Jimin didn't know how to answer this. He can't say 'because I love you hyung'.

"It's okay if you don't wanna answer that." Yoongi assured.

"Thankyou." Jimin mumbled, "We've to drop the outputs of the photoshoot as soon as possible."

"What photoshoot?" Yoongi blurted out.

"Hyung are you okay? I mean you're spacing out from the beginning. We were literally discussing about this for half an hour."

"I'm sorry, it's just a headache. Leave it, yes the photoshoot is today itself. How much minimum time would it require for the finishings and all?"

"Umm it could be done till late evening."

"Okay then. We'll drop it tomorrow after all it's a surprise." Yoongi stated, "Are they ready?"

"I don't really know. I'll go have a check. Are you joining for the shoot?"

"No I've a meeting. I'm leaving for the venue." Yoongi informed, "Take care of everything here."

Jimin nodded, "Hyung can I ask you something?"

Yoongi paused, he saw that coming. He was a little bit too obvious these days. For being in love? No! For being weird and strange.

"Is it important?" Yoongi's voice was deep and cold, held no emotions as usual.

And click, Jimin added one more point to the list, "For me, it is."

Yoongi gulped, never looking at the younger, "I'll be late for the meeting, I've to go. We can talk about this later."

"This is what I've to talk about hyung. THIS!!" Jimin slightly raised his voice.

Yoongi scoffed and began to walk towards the door, "I don't know what you're trying to say but whatever it is, keep it for some other time."

"If this is what you want, then it's totally fine for me Mr. Min." Jimin focused on the specific word which indeed made Yoongi halt his steps and turn towards the younger.

"And what was that for?" Yoongi's voice was of course bitter now.

"For your wish. This is what you want right? A professional relationship between us? Then what's wrong with me referring to my boss as Mr. Min? Every other employee does that and so should I." Jimin blurted out.

"I'm still not getting anything."

"How can I forget that you want everything straight to the point? Let me just make it clear for you." Jimin walked a bit closer to the older, "For the past few days, all we've talked about is business. Each and every discussion is related to Black Swan Entertainment and that's it. Other than that, you keep ignoring me. Don't forget that your schedule comes to me for cross-check and I never found it as hectic as you try to imply. And I very well know that you don't have any meeting right now!"

Yoongi averted his gaze. He didn't have any explanation for his behavior. Never mind, he's himself finding one.

"All of the stuff you do is just a tactic to ignore me." Jimin stated and no wonder, it was indeed the truth.

"Hear me out now." Yoongi finally let his voice echo in the cabin, "I'm sorry if you felt that way. It's not intentional because I myself didn't realize that I've been doing that. It's just I'm not feeling well these days, I'm sick, very sick about my own thoughts."

"So what am I for? You can share the stuff that's bothering you." Jimin's voice softened.

"No don't worry about that. It's nothing serious." Yoongi assured, "And if it's fine for you, can you leave me alone for a while? Don't take it otherwise, again I would say, I'm not feeling well, I need to ensure a quick nap for me."

"Take care!" Jimin mumbled in a low voice and left the cabin. He felt hurt and Yoongi knew it.

Only 2 months were left until the day they had planned to end the relationship drama. Moreover, they didn't have any reason to turn that drama into reality.

Because the reality required an actual bond and their bond was best friends with benefits. This was the reality, not harsh though. They were content with it. So much content that they didn't need anything more than they had decided.

"Perfect!" Soohyun remarked, "Okay we're successfully done with the first set.

Everyone sighed in relief, tired already.

"Go change both of you!" Jimin ordered.

Taehyung and Jungkook somehow dragged themselves to the changing room. What's with the concept of shooting in water? Water always makes you sleepy.

Honestly, the water concept had to be done at the very end but it had to be edited thoroughly. It was like the lead song of the album. Due to the deadlines, it had to reach the editors before any other set so they had to manipulate the sequence.

It took then around 40 minutes to soak and again get ready for the next set. Jungkook walked out of the dressing room, all set.

On the way he noticed Taehyung in the hallway. He was tapping vigorously on his phone with a fresh packet of choclate roll resting between his teeth.

"Taehyung!" Jungkook called but the older didn't answer, "C'mon share that choco with me."

The older was still busy in his phone. At first Jungkook thought of snatching away his phone but another idea popped up in his mind.

He inched closer to the older who still didn't give a damn about his presence. He gripped the other side of the packet which was when Taehyung's wide eyes met his dark orbs.

Jungkook gradually tore the packet while it remained between Taehyung's mouth as well, without breaking the intense staring contest.

And Taehyung, he wasn't the one to get staggered, instead he was the one to play along.

Jungkook got hold of Taehyung's waist. He pulled the snack out of the packet and Taehyung spit the packet out of his mouth's grip.

Jungkook had grasped half of the roll within his mouth while half of it was still out in air. Taehyung smirked and grasped the rest of it, gradually.

He inched closer step by step and parted away when their lips were about to be linked which made the younger frown.

"We'll get late." Taehyung whispered, "Let's go."

"This is not fair." Jungkook argued.

"That's very much fair Jungkook. I'm not obliged to kiss you." Taehyung winked.

"But you may choose to." Jungkook passed a wink as well. His eyes resting on the older's plump lips while his grasp getting more sensual on his waist.

Taehyung nodded. He inched closer to him, kissed his nose, his chin and then escaped his grasp to run away.

"Kim Taehyung this calls for a war!" Jungkook yelled behind him.

"Your wish. Are you falling for me Mr. Jeon?" Taehyung walked away laughing while the younger sighed and followed him.

"I'll rather fall from the 10th floor of this building." Jungkook mocked while walking.

"Hahaha" Taehyung cackled, "At least we have something similar between us."

"Okay so ready for the pose?" Soohyun enquired.

"Yes" both of the males nodded and walked towards the spotlight.

"Taehyung what are you doing? Why are you widening your eyes huh?" Jimin remarked.

Little did he know that his best friend's ass was already being kneaded by Jungkook's slender hands.

"N-nothing, sorry!" Taehyung mumbled and then glared Jungkook who shrugged off like nothing happened.

"Jungkook stop it!" Taehyung whispered.

"War" Jungkook whispered back.
