"I fucking told you that not a single soul should know, but you still told him." Taehyung yelled when Soohyun tried to make him eat lunch.

"Listen Tae, I didn't tell him intentionally." Soohyun explained him the scenario, "He threatened to call Yoongi hyung and you know how bad it would have been if he came to know."

"Well about that, he knows." Taehyung shrugged.

"What?" Soohyun's jaw dropped.

"Of course what do you expect when the police was involved in this? Plus Jimin, I don't know why, lashed out at him for the situation." Taehyung scoffed.

"Please eat." Soohyun insisted.

Meanwhile Jungkook was fuming in anger while watching them would be an understatement.

'One mistake, and I lost you like this? Why? How? No this can't happen, I should be the one insisting to make you eat, arghhh'

The uneven feeling was overwhelming within Jungkook's soul. He immediately made a call and then approached the table where the two were seated.

"Okay I'm leaving." Soohyun hurriedly said when Taehyung's so called boyfriend eyed him to.

After he left, Jungkook took a seat in front of him, "Taehyung?"

"Yes Mr. Jeon, any business?"

"I'm sorry." Jungkook looked into Taehyung's eyes.

Taehyung averted his gaze, "Okay" He mumbled and began to leave.

Jungkook held Taehyung's arms, "I'm not over yet, let's move to the car."

"I've work to do."

"Please?"

Taehyung paused and then nodded. Jungkook's eyes sparkled, he dragged the older along with him.

Knock!

Come in!

"Hyung?"

Yoongi sighed, "Yes Mr. Park?"

"I'm sorry for my behaviour and those specific words which I immediately regretted to say. I didn't mean any of them."

"It's okay, leave."

"No. I'm not leaving like this."

"I forgave you right? Then what?"

"No this is not we call forgiveness hyung. Try to understand, Taehyung is close to me just like Jungkook is to you. Those words were just an impact of overwhelming anger and that's it."

Yoongi just chuckled, humourlessly.

"Hyung, I'm really sorry for my mistake and I mean it."

"And I should agree?" Yoongi smiled, teasingly.

"No. But food would do right?" Jimin displayed two packets of packed food.

Yoongi grinned, "Anyways, how are they now?"

"Even I guess."

"We're not even Jungkook, just because I agreed to come with you."

Jungkook hummed while driving, "But we'll be even while returning back to the company."

"Whatever"

After a drive of good 35 minutes and they reached the destination. Taehyung gasped when he witnessed the scenario in front of him.

Eternal sea, clean shore, soothing, cold breeze and the slight evening was pure bliss. Next, a certain set-up caught his attention.

The surprise was not an extravagant one. It was a heartfelt one. The scene was definitely not to show off money and all but it seemed to be the best place one could visit.

Taehyung actually forgot the chaos going on but couldn't help when Jungkook stood besides him. Before he could speak anything Jungkook began, "I'm really sorry Taehyung, like genuinely sorry."

Taehyung grinned, "You wouldn't be saying this if Soohyun didn't bump into you accidentally right? You assumed everything without even trying to know the facts."

"I know I did wrong." Jungkook paused, "and I'll not explain myself with some shitty excuses. I'm sorry, for misunderstanding you, for wrongly alleging you and most importantly, for not trusting you."

"I really don't know what to say Jungkook, you went too far with you words." Taehyung scoffed.

"I promise if something like this happens again, I'll talk to you first. I'm ready to do anything to make it up to you Taehyung." Jungkook looked at Taehyung with desperation, "And I mean it."

"It's okay." Taehyung mumbled in a not so okay tone.

"It's okay if you need some time, I'm not gonna pressurise you." Jungkook whispered, "We can even go back if you don't like it here."

"No it's beautiful, I still can't believe you did this for a mere apology."

"It's not 'a mere apology' when you're at the edge of loosing your best friend." Jungkook walked a bit, "this is nothing in front of the hurtful words I stabbed right onto your glory."

Taehyung patted his back and smiled, a geniune smile, "It's okay Jungkook until you keep your promise engraved in your mind."

"Of course I will." Jungkook smiled back and embraced the older.

"So what have you planned?"

"Umm nothing much. We'll walk and run on the sand bare feet and have some food over there." Jungkook scratched his neck, "Geez I didn't plan much."

Taehyung chuckled, "That's a nice plan Jeon."

"Whenever we're out, I guess this is the second time, we're always at my favourite places. So you need to tell me some of your favorites as well so that we can hang out there as well." Jungkook suggested while they felt the cold water and soft sand beneath their feet.

"It maybe wierd but you know what Jungkook, I don't have specific favourite places, I mostly look for a better company."

"And what about me as your company?" Jungkook suddenly questioned.

"You're a nice one when you keep your asshole side apart."

"I'm not an asshole." Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"I wish I could agree." Taehyung giggled.

That was when Taehyung's phone buzzed to which Jungkook sighed, "When you'll marry, warn your partner that this man may interrupt you in the midnight while fuc-"

Jungkook earned a smack from Taehyung before completing the sentence.

After hearing a few rants from Jimin, Taehyung finally spoke, "Don't worry much chim, I'll talk to you when I'll be back. Bye!"

"He must have been cursing me right?" Jungkook snorted.

"Well, not really. But he was quite mad at you before he came to know about the inspector thing." Taehyung shrugged.

They walked around for a while and then had their meals. Next, they decided to enjoy the view by sitting inside the mesmerizing set-up.

"It's so good here" Taehyung inhaled the breeze blowing around them.

"Right" Jungkook yawned.

"Are you sleepy or something?" Taehyung enquired.

Jungkook just nodded and rolled over the mattress for a while after which he again sat up sternly. He shifted himself so that they were sitting side by side, in the same posture.

Taehyung paused for a while, "You didn't sleep last night, did you?"

"Leave it." Jungkook immediately scoffed.

"You could have asked me yesterday itself and then we could have slept together." Taehyung's eyes widened on realising what he just said.

Jungkook turned his gaze towards a startled Taehyung while his lips curved into an evil smirk.

"I mean" Taehyung cleared his throat, "we could have slept on the same time, peacefully."

Jungkook giggled on the older's nervousness. He snuggled his legs into the blankets and laid his head on Taehyung's lap, "We can do this now as well if you want."

Taehyung smacked Jungkook's chest, "Did I forget to tell you that you're an asshole?"

"No" Jungkook spat, "You told me a while ago. C'mon Taehyung, sleeping together need not to mean something nasty always."

"Not when I'm with Jeon Jungkook."

"As your wish, I'm going to sleep here."

"Noo Jungkook, my legs gonna hurt, you muscled pig."

"First, I'm not a pig, my muscles are godly. Second, now I'm definitely sleeping here."

With that Jungkook dozed off with the whole body on the mattress and head on Taehyung's lap while the older just sighed.

Taehyung blankly stared the younger. Unconsciously, his hands reached to caress Jungkook's soft locks.

"That's soothing." Jungkook mumbled while falling asleep.

Taehyung couldn't help but chuckle, the younger was indeed adorable. Noo! He's a brat, a total brat.

Taehyung was not even slightly sleepy so he pulled out his phone and silently began to click pictures of the scenery, the set-up and Jungkook.

After a while, Jungkook was slightly trembling in his sleep. Taehyung was busy on his phone, he took a glance of the younger and thought he was just shuffling in his sleep so he softly patted his head which made Jungkook drift into his lovely sleep again.

"You disgusting piece of shit, just stay away from the other dirt you like to hang out with." He slapped and even used a stick to beat the teen.

"N-n-no, I'm sorry."

"Nooo what sorry?" He yelled and the kid flinched, "you're a male and you hang out with that piece of slut who's another male and fucking likes you romantically? How?"

"T-that's normal, it's not a s-sin."

And that calls for another set of slaps, "Shut up!! You're not the one who'll tell me what's right and what's wrong. Next time, I better not find you with him. Go to your room and you ain't getting any food today. Don't you dare creep out your hyung about this or you know the consequences."

"Please don't do this to me, please, I beg you! I'll never do this again, I'm sorry."

"You'll not understand like this huh?" He grabbed the boy's hairs harshly and dragged him through the floor. The lady present there, tried to stop him but the man was a total beast.

"Nooo, please! It hurts, it hurts, it hurts, it's paining, ahh, I can't, I can't breathe, let go, it hurts."

"Jungkook? Jungkook? Hey, why are you trembling, Jungkook wake up." Taehyung was worried by witnessing Jungkook's condition. He was sweating hardly, his hands were shaking, he was moving his head vigorously and mumbling incoherent words.

The younger finally woke up, he looked around himself and sighed in relief.

"Jungkook? You okay?"

Jungkook just nodded and lied down again, staring the outer view. His slightly watery orbs didn't go unnoticed by the older.

Taehyung gently placed the younger's head on his folded legs and leisurely stroked his forehead and hairs. He placed his another arm over Jungkook's chest.

"Don't worry much, kook."

"It's not even a thing to worry about, Tae. It's just something I can't control."

There was a comfortable silence between the two when Jungkook abruptly questioned, "So are we even now? We've our friendship back right?"

Taehyung nodded and smiled.

"One more thing." Jungkook got up and sat against Taehyung, "I'm not forcing you right?"

"No you aren't forcing me. It's geniune. Don't worry okay? Let's go back, we've been here for so long."

Jungkook nodded and grabbed the car keys, "Check around once if we have left any stuff."

"Yeah you go, I'm coming."

"Taehyung!" Jungkook halted, "I like you!"
