Chapter 26
Music was playing as kids settled in their seats.
Ross ran out of no whereup to the bleachers in his uniform. The kids began cheering when they saw he. He flashed them a smile and waved as he ran up to us.
"Ross!" His mother grinned when she saw him his parents patted down his clothes as they spoke to him.
"Oh sweetie, you're gonna make me cry now. Look at you! Promise me you'll be safe. Oh gosh I'm crying!" His mother said.
He chuckled and wrapped his varsity Jacket Over her shoulders "Here. I want you to hold unto this for me." He grinned before kissing her cheeks.
The girls in the crowd awed and gushed at their favorite senior's actions.
Even my heart began Beating faster.
He spoke to his father and they did a bro hug and his father told he he was proud of him and to be safe.
Ross ruffled his sisters', cousins' and Pricilla's hair making them swat his hand away and Pricilaa blushing.
He greeted my mom hugging her and kissing her Knucles.
MY HEART!
When he turned to me he gave a sad smile loking around "No courtney?", I smiled sadly and shook my head. He smiled sadlt before pulling out a suck from his pocket "keep this for me, it's my lucky sock." He grinned throwign it on my face.
"EW!! Lucky sock? It stinks!" I cried ripping it off my face and flingin git unto him.
"You heart my feelings Laur, Come on just hold unto the sock for me. It means a lot to me, It's lucky."Ross pouted.
His family and my mom laughed at me.
"What why would I-" i Began protesting but he pouted more making my heart swell.
Oh lord this boy was pout gifted.
"UGHHHH! Fine!" i gave up picking up the sock.
"Yaye!" He grinned kissing my cheeks before running back to him where the coach shouted for him.
A blush growing on my face.
Half way he turned around "Hey Laura?" He called.
I looked at him "it's not my lucky sock, It's just a stink sick i found in the locker room." he laughed before running away.
I pitched the sock away disgusted as Ross' family laughed.

The game was going in our school's favor and in approximately a few seconds the game would end, Also my not future reading self didn't know that also in a few seconf I'd have the first true heart break.
Mr Lynch and his three daughter's voice was the oldest in the bleacher-Maybe it just seemed like that because they were sitting next to me, but for all I knew they'd probably be hoarse the following day. The crowd was on their feet as Ross ran with the ball. No doubt our school had already won the game, it was way too late for the other team, but just this alone added my drama and excitement to game.
We were all on our feet screaming as Ross dodged opposing player holding unto the football for dear life.
"OH MY GOD! RUN ROSS RUN!" Mrs.Lynch now stood up screaming at her son as she shook my mom besides her.
I watched amazed as Ross did what he loved.
i began screaming in excitement.

The time was contining down. Students from the other school began walking out already knowing that their school had lost but the kids from HHS stood strong cheering on their school.
Ross had played hard tonight.Too hard if you asked me, Yes we know he wanted his school to win but i became concerned when before I kept seeing him hold his knees trying to breathe. I i didn't speak out because I know how much this last game meant to him and his parents would want him to drop out.

"TOUCH DOWN!!!!!!!!" The crowd went wild as Ross began running like a mad man his team mates hugging him as they took off their hats the cheerleaders ran unto the field everyone in pure bliss.
Then that's when It all came tumbling down.
We couldn't see ross anymore because he was swallowed into the crowd.
"I can't believe it that was so much fun." My mom laughed clapping. The girls was taking selfies and spoke to themselves while i watched Mrs.Lynch facial expression, On of pure confusion as she looked at the crowd that her son was in.
Kids were looking down as they began calling someone, like it was a cry for help.
"Something's wrong." She breathed holding her hands to her heart.
"What? how do you know, they're kids they're probably jus-" Said Mr.Lynch just to be cut off by his wife.
"mother's Intuition. Where's Ross? do you see ross? Something is wrong." She said making her way down the bleachers just to be followed by her husband and three daughters.
"Is Ross okay?" Pricilla whispered squeezing her Reign' hand.
It was all confirmed when Medics began rushing unto the field.
"Mom." I whispered gripping her hand. Oh god! Please don't let it be ross.
The remaining people on the bleacher's looked on as the medics chased away the crowd but I saw one girl fighting a medic slapping their hand away. Her Cheer Uniform bouncing as she kicked.
Adelaide.
I rushed down the bleachers to her, I couldn't see the Lynch's as the crowd moved back. I fought on forward to were I last saw Adelaide.
"Adelaide!" I shouted running to her, My ripped jeans causing the cold night breeze to hit my legs.
"Adelaide! What's wrong?" I said pulling her back from the medic who then rushed off.
"It's Ross, Something's wrong. he collapsed they won't let me see him!" She cried.
My heart sank. Oh God. Please lord whatever it is, please don't let it be the cancer, Please."
"it's okay, It's going to be okay." I said hugging her as she began crying on my shoulders. It didn't make sense I fight them like Adelaide did, they wouldn't let me see him. Just then The medic rushed past us with someone on a stretcher, There helmet still on , The Lynch's rushing behind them.
"Ross." I whispered.
Adelaide moved away from my grip rushing behind them. I didn't even realized when I myself was running behind them. My feet had just moved with my thinking so. When we got out my mother, Reign, Rockelle, Pricilla and Adelaide were all following behind the Lynch's who were following unconscious ross.
"Please Ross." I whispered. "If you can somehow miraculously hear me, Don't give up. Fight. Because I think I'm falling for you and I can't lose you just yet. Not now. Not ever."
