The next day, I was going straight at ross' place to get ready for the party.

"I hope you don't mind, but i have to pick Courtney up and drop her home." Ross said as he pulled out of the school's parking lot.

"No it's cool." I smiled at him.

Last night after my work and i got home Ross and I spoke on the phone for hours moving from one conversation to the other.

"What're you doing now?" He asked, His voice sounding raspy over the phone.

"The same thing i told you that i was doing just moments ago." I chuckled.

Our voices were soft as we spoke to each other.

"And what was that again." I could hear the smirk in his voice.

I rolled my eyes " I'm lying in bed looking up at the ceiling and speaking to you."

He laughed softly "I know, I just like the way you say it."

I laughed "Say what?" 

"Just the way you said that entire sentence, It makes me smile. Say it again." He said

I snorted "Say what again?"

"When I asked what you're doing, what you answered and said; Say it." 

This boy is crazy.

I sighed smiling "I'm lying in bed, looking up at the ceiling and speaking to you." 

He chuckled softly "Any time you say it butterflies erupt in my tummy." He laughed

I laughed at him "You're weird."

"I know, it's just, it's what you say and how you say it, you just make me feel really nice."

I smiled at his statement and we feel into silence over the phone.

"How long have we been talking?" I asked before pulling the phone away to look at the screen.

It was twelve fifty six AM the next day.

"Oh my god Ross! we've been speaking for six hours straight!" I said alarmed

"I know." he chuckled.

I could hear shuffling through the phone.

I know he was on his bed too, doing just what i was doing.

"We have school tomorrow." I said 

"I also know that, why are you stating facts that i already know Laura?" He said.

"Because we have school tomorrow and we're up talking and it's late." I said stretching in my bed.

"So?" He asked

I groaned frustrated "Goodnight Ross." I spoke softly smiling.

"Come on Laur,Let's go those talk all night till we fall asleep thingy that those couples do on tv." He said whining.

"Exactly, Couples. Ross please go find Courtney to be romantic with I'm tired!" I whined.

He chuckled "Come on Laur, We're best friends now, you're supposed to be nice to me, Pwease Laury!" He put on a voice.

I groaned "Fine."

He chuckled and started up another conversation.

Ross and I drove in comfortable silence up to Upper Harrington. it was so clean and different from where i lived, It was as if you'd walked into a whole other town.

Not too long after we were driving towards a massive brick  structure as some kids rode horses with their perfectly clean uniforms.

"Wow!" I whispered as i stared at the masterpiece of a high school.

"Welcome to Upper Harrington Academy." Ross said pulling up to the school's security booth.

The security smiled into the car, he was a elder man that looked to be in his sixties.

"Hey Ross, here to pick up the girlfriend I see." The man smiled.

"Hey John, I sure am." Ross smiled.

"And who's the pretty girl?" He asked turning to me.

"Hi, I'm Laura." I grinned stretching out my hand out the window to shake his hand.

"Wow, Beautiful Name for a beautiful Face, and she has good manners too." John smiled shaking my hand.

Ross and I laughed as John pressed a buzzer and made the gates open.

"See you later Ross. And nice to meet you Laura."

"Same John."

"Bye!" 

Ross drived in the school's yard.

"She'll be out in a second. And please try to ignore her friends, they can be a bit....blunt." Ross said.

"Cool, I'll go go in the backseat." I said opening the door.

"That'll be a good idea, i'm really not in the mood to argue with court as to why you're in 'her' seat." Ross said bringing his seat back.

I chuckled at made myself comfortable in the back seat.

"So what are courtney's friends name?"

"Well first there's Kimberly."

"She's the one Courtney trusts no matter what, she's her right hand and they tell each other everything." Ross said as i nodded.

"Then there's Portia."

"She's the sassiest and most blunt, she's not really mean, I'm actually cool with her the most. She's a no nonsense kind of girl."

"following is Melissa."

"I...can't really stand her, she's sly and always flirting with me, She's really pretty, but she's not my type, I try to avoid her as best as possible and so should you."

"Lastly is Astrid."

"She's a giggle freak, she's always laughing and she's a bit funny. but she's pretty shy."Ross finished.

"They're all insanely pretty, but none of them is my best friend and none of them can compare to you." Ross looking back at me making me grin like crazy.

"Shut up." I blushed.

"Oh! I made you blush!" He laughed

"SHUT UP ROSS!"
