I was fully aware of my feelings for Ross.

But I refused to allow it.

It wasn't that i looked down on myself.

I've done a lot of wrong in the past, but i never really one day hated my appearance.

But it was the fact that Ross was too good for me. 

Out of my league.

I was damaged goods.

A baggage.

I was messed up. what ever you wanted to call it.

Ross was like a shiny Trophy while I was like a stale pizza.

Looked good, but would make you puke.

I knew i had feelings for him, but I was the kind of girl who forced myself not to, because i felt like i wasn't worthy enough to even think about being with someone,anyone.

 My menstrual cycle lasted for four days.

I didn't go to school neither did i go to work.

But he came everyday after school to check on me.

Tonight we were having dinner at his place.

Both my mother and I.

Ross had told his mother and she was beyond excited to be reunited with my mother.

She would have come sooner.

But my mother refused for her to see her like this, the state in which we lived in.

It was friday night and Ross was on his way to get us.

With a lot of effort my mother was able to find a VERY ancient dress for me to wear.

With was now the only dress I owned.

It had stains a was washed out and a bit big, the sleeves were long so i had to fold it, it was loose and reached my shin bone and it didn't complement my only pair of shoes. My black dirty converse but my mother worked some magic an fixed it up just alright. 

It wasn't the best, but at least i had something to wear, others didn't.

I saw lights from a vehicle showing through the current signalling Ross was here. I knew this without even looking because his was practically the only vehicle that came through here.

My mother's dress wasn't far different from mine but she still had a smile on her face.

"I can't believe I'm going to see Lauren" She grinned.

"Yup, you'll enjoy seeing your old friend again huh?' I asked helping her outside.

"Yup." She grinned

Ross was standing outside smiling at us.

He were a blue shirt with the first three button loose and black ripped jeans.

"Hello Marano Ladies." He grinned helping my mom down the short stairs.

"Hey ross darling, how are you?" Mom asked.

I stood up on the steps looking at them.

Just breathe Laura, he's just a guy.

"I'm great, and so is my mom beyond excited to see you." He grinned at her.

When they finished talking and she went to stand by the car h turned to me and looked me up and down.

"Never thought i'd ever see you in a dress." He smirked.

"It's hideous I know, It's all I've got." I said.

He smiled softly taking my hands,helping me down.

"It may not be the best, but you sure do make Hideous look appealing Ms.Marano." He said.

I rolled my eyes.

"Is the sneakers gonna be okay?' I asked as i settled on the balls of my feet.

He looked down at it.

"It's cute. You've got the whole Bella thing going on their." He smiled.

"Who's Bella?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

He smiled and shuck his head. "Never mind, let's go." He said before escorting me to his vehicle.

He hadn't brought his Lamborghini this time so  I sat in the back seat as i gave my mother the front passenger seat.

I didn't know when I drifted to sleep but i found my self be shaken awake by Ross.

The first thing i saw when i opened my eyes were the beautiful Lynch residence then his big hazel eyes staring at me.

"We're here."

I sighed I got out.

I helped my mom to come out of the high vehicle.

All lights from the outside were on enhancing the giant master piece of a house.

Ross came stand besides us.

My mother gasp.

I looked at her.

She was staring forward.

I followed her sight to find Five people standing in front of the very large house

Four familiar persons, Mrs. Lynch, Allison,Brooklyn and Madison. Then there was a man which i'm guessing is Mr. Lynch and the same small dog that was sitting on Ross's car the last time i was here.

I saw Mrs.Lynch put her hands to her mouth as she began walking to us.

My mother wasted no time in moving towards her.

I watched with watery eyes as they clashed and hugged each other.

I could here their full on sobbing as we came up to them, I greeted the three girls and Mr.Lynch.

"It's lovely to meet you Laura." He spoke.

I smiled in response and watched my mother and Mrs.Lynch as they cried and caressed each other's face.

"I missed you so much!"

"It's been so long."

"I'm sorry i didn't keep in touch!"

"I can't even believer it's you."

Comments were exchanged between the two women.

When they did calm down they ushered us inside.

They carried us to the dinner table where I sat right next to ross, between him and Allison.

Mr. and Mrs. Lynch sat at the head of the tables while my mom, Madison and Brooklyn sat opposite ross, Allison and I.

The dinner was lovely our Parents caught up taking about old times making us laugh at old jokes.

Mr.Lynch asked me questions about school.

And it was announce that they had finally met the girl who was always tying with Ross in Exams.

It was true, Ross and I were...well you could say the smartest kids in school.

 I even heard that the teachers bet who would get valedictorian between the both of us.

He asked what i wanted to do when i finished high school.

And I honestly told him, I'd like a scholarship to go to Yale where I can study Medicine (If any thing is wrong with this statement , ignore it. I know not one shit about Yale, other than it's an university.)

"Really?" Ross asked besides me.

My eyes averting from his father to the young Mr.Lynch.

"Yeah. I've always wanted to." I said.

"That's great Ross, wants to go to Yale too." His father spoke.

Really?

As if reading my mind he nodded. "Yeah, I wanna be surgeon."

REALLY??!!

My eyes widened.

He chuckled "I guess I got the whole medical aspect from my mom." 

Before any of us could say anything more my mother spoke up, "Lauren,Michael, If i do say, you have raised a wonderful, thoughtful and caring son." 

I watched as Mr. and Mrs Lynch smiled with pride at their son.

"Aw!" His sister's gushed ad he blushed.

Mom went further to explain everything that happened, given to how they had a talk they day he came to pick me up.

Ross just grinned.

When dinner finished we moved into their family room.

Where A large piano sat.

 "Oh sweety can you play us something." Mrs.Lynch asked her son.

"Sure." He nodded taking a seat by the piano.

"Oh honey, sing along.Let someone other than e hear your beautiful voice." My mom grinned from where she sat with Mrs.Lynch.

"Mom!" I whined.

Allison and Brooklyn chuckled While Madison snapped pictures. Mr.Lynch had a glass of wine n his hand.

"Come on Laura, it'll be fun." Ross smiled taking my hand and pulling down on the seat next to him by the piano.

I sighed and said okay.

They did a little cheer as ross smiled at me.

Everyone quieted down as ross showed me what he was going to play.

"You know it?" He asked softly.

I nodded and he smiled at me and began the intro.

i Looked to see our mother grinning.

Allison and Brooklyn held each other grining while Brooklyn videoed.

Mr.Lynch just smiled relaxing to the intro his son was  playing.

He nudged me and I smiled at him before closing my eyes sighing and beginning.

When we finished we just stared into each other's eyes grinning as my mom and his family cheered.

"Aw!"

"Definitely the perfect Harmony!"
