It was a very loud day in republic city as kuvira had been sentenced to prison, a giant portal to the spirit world had been open in the middle of republic city leaving many homeless, and the avatar is out on vacation. Two young aspiring water tribe men had exited their boat taking in the sights around them from the large brick buildings holding many people within with their own stories and cycles to the sky filled with airships and flying spirits alike.

The older brother, with his black hair long and in a ponytail carried much from his water tribe ancestries with his light brown skin and blue eyes standing tall at 6'3 dressed in a blue and white vest with martial arts pants and shoes as they figured it was going to be a bit difficult in their water tribe attire being the age of eighteen having left the safety of the water tribe to make something of himself in the big city whilst his younger brother whom shares more of an intellectual side of the pair despite being sixteen looked in amazement of what's all around them. The younger brother Sharing the older ones features just younger had shorten hair and goggles over his forehead dressed in a brown bomber jacket and brown pants having joined his brother to become an inventor, to improve on the world and make a name for himself.

As the ship docked they took in the hustling and bustling streets of republic city wondering what to do now that they arrived figuring that they should look for work. They wandered the streets asking around well mainly the older brother asking around but finding nothing using the last of their cash for bread and meat for a dinner splitting it with the youngest "things are a lot different than at home huh?" The youngest kinai said with the older koda simply nodding "but don't worry I'm sure we'll get a bite sooner or later" he replied giving his younger compadre a smile before they enjoyed their scavenged meal.

As they ate they see a car stop in front of a shop with an old couple speaking to the people within the car about something. Seeing that things didn't fall into the place right as a large scale investment of flames blasted into the store incinerating its produce. Kinai feeling he should do something stood up only for the sleeve of his coat to be grabbed by koda shaking his head and having him sit down as the car drove off leaving kinai jerking his arm back "what's wrong with you, we could've taken them!?" He said angered at his brothers actions in which he replied in a calm tone "benders" then continued his meal leaving kinai to sit down with him now being homeless for the night sighing softly to himself thinking up ideas on how to handle a bender as the sun lowered and the moon raised these two may become something special.
