Patterns. Take note this is the only reptile I have at the moment and I have only owned him for about 2-3 months. I am not an expert. And you will need more research then just reading this. I spent maybe 2 months of research before getting one. So please do not just get one. Make sure you have proper resources and ect before getting one. Depending on how many your getting. A small one would be good for one or two. But my gecko has about 2 hides and a few decor. If adding sand to a leopard geckos (every reptile)
If adding sand. Feed them in a different tank. They may accidentally eat the sand. And that is bad. If you forget to give them reptical (reptile calcium) it's kind of a problem. Leopard geckos tails will be rejected if being held by it. And that is a REALLY bad sign. Without they're tail. It's really unhealthy that. Just don't make them reject it. They have plenty of patterns and. If a boy and boy meet they may fight. Unless you bought the. At the same time. And babies may get harmed by adult ones. Use caution at all times. And if a leopard gecko sheds it's pattern will change. But it eats it's shed, so no predator sees it. And they are nocturnal  (they sleep at day and play at night) so you mag not see them shed.
