Roger Davis- Murder (h)

You had never been the most outgoing person, nor had you been the most sociable.

Whenever you met someone that seemed as if they were your type of person, you would socialise with them and possibly begin a friendship however at other times you found yourself being involved with those who were complete opposites to you.

Roger was one of those people.

He was outgoing at points whilst you preferred to stay home, he would sit and play his music whereas you would spend your time with a good book.

It definitely wasn't the first time that Roger had come across you in the local library, holed up in your favourite spot whilst lost in your own fictional world.

This time however Roger had made the move to take the book away from you causing you to pout at him.

"I was enjoying that."

He chuckled, pressing a kiss to your forehead. "I know Love, but I thought today I could bring you back to mine?"

"Why?"

"You know I like you," he stated causing you to smile. "But I want you to meet my friends."

You sighed. "We agreed we'd figure this out before I met them."

"We are figuring it out Love, I like you and you like me and that's the main thing," he explained to you with a smile on his face. "But we're having a takeaway tonight and I'd love to introduce you."

You couldn't help but smile at the guy in front of you. "Okay," you agreed as you nodded your head. "Do you want to go now?"

Roger helped you pack up your things before intertwining his fingers with yours as the two of you left the library.

"You know how I am with new people Roger."

He smiled down at you, squeezing your hand in reassurance. "They are your kind of people though Love."

"You weren't."

"And I am just special."

You laughed, but you knew really that Roger was an anomaly for you – the two of you just clicked.

Eventually the both of you reached Roger's building and walked up the stairs to his loft.

Before you even reached the floor, you could hear the laughter and the chatter from inside the loft, and whilst you were nervous to meet Roger's friends you also knew that Roger would stay by your side.

Roger pushed the door open and everyone turned to face the both of you.

"Who's she?" a girl with black wavy hair quizzed.

"This is Y/N," Roger introduced you as he put his arm around your shoulder. "I've been seeing her for a while now."

You smiled nervously at them all. "It's nice to meet all of you."

A man with dark blonde hair and glasses stood up, making his way over to you. "I'm Mark, his roommate."

He held his hand out to you, so you shook it before Roger led you to the sofa, sitting down with you on his lap.

Introductions were done, and everyone soon resumed their earlier conversation, but you didn't really input too much – you were quite content just listening.

Collins turned to you with confusion on his face. "You okay? You've not really said much."

"Oh, she's probably just quiet," Maureen stated.

You shrugged your shoulders. "Don't judge because I'm quiet. No one plans a murder out loud."

Roger chuckled behind you, placing a gentle kiss to your shoulder blade whilst the others didn't know whether to be worried or to laugh.

"Just to clarify, I'm planning to murder the librarian."
