With a cheerful grin, you carried your home cooked meal outside. Jack wasn't far behind with his arms full of drinks. As you spread everything out on the patio table you made sure to steal a chair next to Jack. He didn't mind, but did scrunch his nose at you for the events that had just taken place in the kitchen.

Dinner was filled with laughter and smiles. It was so nice to be all back together again. You managed to curl up next to Jack during the meal. It was such a comforting feeling hearing his heartbeat as you laid your head on his chest. But suddenly the mood had changed drastically as Matt cheered his throat.

"So..." As Matt started to talk the air got heavy. "I have something I'd like to discuss since we're all here together." You rose your head in suspense. He didn't seem upset, nor mad, but you could tell something was up. "Alright, well as you all know by now I'm engaged to my beautiful fiance. That being said, we were thinking and..." Matt's pause was unsettling. "We'd both love for all of you to be apart of the big day! Ryan, I'd like for you to be my best man, and Jack and Mark would you guys be groomsmen? Oh and (Y/N), since you're such good friends with the bride-to-be what do you say about being the maid of honor?" Matt question with obvious high hopes only to be answered with dropped jaws and boggled expressions.

There was a loud cheerful response all at once. As for what was said, well no one really knows who said what but all of the answers were a form of yes. Today sure was a surprise-filled day but this took the cake. One thing was for sure though, as mush as you all were different, this was a family. A family that was soon to be expanded.
