Ronin rushes into the room while Dib is following behind. He sees Valarie, slowly waking up while Mikala is sitting next to her.

"Valarie!" Ronin shouted as he hugs her.
"Thank goodness you're okay!"

"R-Ronin!" Valarie gasped and blushes, "Wha-What happened here?!"

"Trust me, love, it's a very long story." Ronin told her.

Valarie looks behind him and she gasps as she sees Dib.

"T-Dib?!"

"As I said, it's a long story," Ronin told her, "But overall, he's on our side now."

"Wha-Wait... Dib... there's a question I want to ask..." Valarie asked.

"... Oh no... it's about that bastard, isn't it?" Mikala asked.

"Who?" Dib asked.

"... Dragos..." Valarie said, "What happened to him... after the Kasai war?"

"... I don't know," Dib replied, "I only know about his involvement in the Kasai war, but that's it. Why?"

"... No reason..." Valarie lied.

"Valarie..." Ronin muttered.

"... Ahem, Mikala, right?" Dib asked.

"That's the name, Kasai hero..." Mikala replied in a hostile manner.

"... I don't like being called that..." Dib commented, "But, can I talk to you privately?"

"... Fine," Mikala replied as she gets up and leaves, "See ya, lovebirds."

Mikala and Dib leave the couple alone. Ronin takes a deep breath and looks at his girlfriend.

"... Valarie... you are not responsible for his transformation," Ronin told her.

"I am, Ronin!" Valarie replied as she starts crying, "If I wasn't, then I wouldn't have been so busy trying to find a cure for him and that he wouldn't become the monster he is now!"

"Valarie!" Ronin shouted, "Look... I understand how you feel since I feel like I failed my people and master, but if it wasn't for you... I wouldn't have gotten over that guilt."

"... Ronin, this is different..." Valarie said, "If I haven't rejected him... then none of that horrible event where those soldiers got killed by him... the victims would still be alive, but now... now..."

"... Look dear," Ronin replied, "You shouldn't accept someone you don't love... that's part of life."

"Yeah, but he has gone berserk after that..." Valarie said, "... If I ever see him again... I can't imagine what he would do..."

(Flashback)

Valerie walked through the hallway as she entered a small room, where she saw a young, scrawny male doctor with pale skin, dark-teal hair and brown eyes.

"Hello, Dragos." Valarie greeted him, which make him jump a bit.

"A-Ahh! Miss Swift!" The man named Dragos replied as he freaks out a bit, "H-How are you?!"

"Hehe, good," Valarie told him, "What about you?"

"Excited!" Dragos replied as he showed her a bottle of strange dark blue liquid, "Look! I greeted a new serum!"

Valarie tilted her head a bit and looked at it.
"What's this?" Valarie asked him.

"I haven't come up with a name yet," Dragos told her honestly, "But this serum will be our weapon against SEG, especially since they're busy with the Kasai war and such! It has the ability to grant enormous strength to the user that not even Zim could handle!"

"... It seems pretty dangerous..." Valarie responded. "Have you tested for side effects...?"

"... Well... no," Dragos replied, "But, it will be worth it once we defeated SEG!"

"..." Valarie took a deep breath and asked, "Where did you get it?"

"... Zim's blood...?" Dragos grinned awkwardly, which she glares at him.

"... Is he aware of this?" Valarie asked.
"No... but I'm sure he doesn't mind!" Dragos told her, "I mean, sure I got it from him knocked out after his fight with Sebastian, but this is for the future!"

"... What are you planning on using it on?"

"Obviously, I'm gonna put it in our soldiers."

"... I'm sorry," Valarie apologised, "But I have to say no to this project,"

"What?!" Dragos shouted, "Why?!"

"The Dragon's blood is too much for any normal creature!" Valarie told him, "Only Irkens have immunity against it... at least, Zim does as far as I know, but putting that blood into a human's bloodstream is definitely going to cost psychological damage that will drive them into madness! Do you understand?!"

"..." Dragos looked away, which only made Valarie even more annoyed.

"If you're not gonna cancel it, then..." Valarie threatened him, "I have no choice, but to fire you!"

"What?!" Dragos shouted, "You can't be serious?!"

"I'm dead serious!" Valarie replied.

"...Fine... I'll cancel it..." Dragos replied.

"Thank you, Dragos," Valarie thanked him as she left, "Oh, don't forget to get rid of it, okay?"

"...Sure, Miss Swift," Dragos lied to her as she left.

(Many days later)

Dragos carried a heart-shaped box of chocolates and opened the door to Valarie's office.

"Hey, Miss Swift..." Dragos said as he gets closer to her.

"Oh, hello Dragos," Valarie replied, and then she noticed the box, "F... for me?"

"... Yes... I... I wanted to tell you for a very long time," Dragos admitted, "I... I love you..."

"... Dragos... I... I'm sorry," Valarie apologised, "But... I don't think it would be appropriate for me to date my own employee."

"... No... I... but, I love you!" Dragos yelled, "I-I promise to always treat you right!"

"No, that answer is not gonna change!" Valarie replied sternly, "Besides, I'm mentally not ready for a relationship as I'm still recovering from my trauma."

"Grr..." Dragos growled, "It's because I'm pathetic... that I'm not a fighter and strong, isn't?"

"What?! No!" Valarie told him, "It's not-"

"Liar!" Dragos accused her as he thrown the box to the ground and ran off.

"Dragos Rusu!" Valarie called out as she stood up and rushed after him as she saw him entering his office, "Dragos!"

"Valarie!"

Valarie stopped and saw Tori walked up to her. She sighed out of relief.

"Tori, Dragos is gonna do something bad!" Valarie told her.

"What do you mean?" Tori asked, "You know he's too nice for that."

"But-"

"What the fuck?!"

The two women heard the scream as well as a large explosion. They ran to the source, where they saw Zim, Gir, Mikala and Harumi standing outside of Dragos' office, where the door is lift opened. Valarie looked inside and gasped.

"N... no..."

The room has a massive hole on the wall with a shape of a very large and muscular figure.

"...What on Irk happened?!" Zim shouted in shock.

"I don't fucking know!" Tori replied while she looked at Valarie, who was staring at something, "Mm?"

Tori looked down and saw an empty, small needle as well as broken container.

"... He actually used the serum..." Valarie muttered, "... No..."

"What serum?!" Mikala asked harshly.

"... He... he made a project where he created a serum of Zim's blood..." Valarie told her, much to Zim's shock.

"Since when?!" Zim asked harshly.

"... After that tie against Sebastian," Valarie told him, "While you were knocked out."

"...Are you kidding the almighty Zim?!" Zim asked harshly.

"N-No!" Valarie replied, "But, I thought he has gotten rid of it!"

"Why didn't you read his mind?" Gir asked.

"Because I don't know how!" Valarie told him. "I'm still training my psychic powers!"

"Oh..." Gir pouted as he awkwardly looked around, "I'm gonna get my piggy!"

"Gir, no!" Zim told him off harshly, "We have important matters to concern ourselves."

"But Piggy is important too!" Gir argued, causing the irken and the SIR unit to argued with each other.

"... I... It's... it's my fault..." Valarie muttered.

(Flashback ends)

"... T...that's one of the reasons I quit EKO," Valarie told Ronin, "... All I wanted is to find a way to bring him back to normal so that he doesn't hurt any more innocent lives."

"... I can't stop you, can I?" Ronin asked.

"Tori tried to stop me, but I refused to give up," Valarie told him, "If she can't change my mind, I highly doubt you can."

"... Fair enough," Ronin replied, "But, don't be surprised if I stop you from doing something that would endanger you... and if I have to save you from him."

"I wouldn't," Valarie replied.

"Good," Ronin said as he kissed her forehead, "Ai shiteru, Valarie."

"I love you too, Ronin." Valarie replied while she blushes and smiles.

Ronin stands up and walks towards the door.
"Get well soon, Valarie." Ronin told her.

"Thank you." Valarie replied as he leaves the room.
