(Meanwhile with Dib)

Dawn walked alongside with Dib, where they saw a twelve-years-old Fiona, who has much shorter hair that stops to her neck and wore a green dress with a black string around her torso that makes a ribbon on her back, brown sandals and still have her tiara. She was watering the flowers

"I hope you and the princess gets along," Dawn said, suddenly a bird came in with a paper attached to their leg. She saw them and puts her hand up, so that the bird landed on her finger, then she grabs the paper off the leg and the bird flew off.

Dawn opens the paper and reads it, with eyes widen as she finished reading it. "My apologies, but I must leave for the king's and queen's meeting with Imperatriz Pureness, and since you're thirteen years old, I'm sure you can take care of yourself, so I must take my leave."

"W-Wait!" Dib shouted, but it's too late as she already run back to the castle, so he just sighed and turns to the young princess. "Umm...hello..."

"Ah!" Fiona gasped in shock and accidentally drops her watering can, causing her to start crying, but quickly composed herself as fast as possible, struggling to calm herself down. Dib noticed her panic and rushes to her as he picks up the watering can.

"Here..." Dib said as he gives it to Fiona, who looks to the right, then went back to Dib as she takes the can from Dib.

"...Thank you..." Fiona spoke quietly as she takes the can from Dib.

"Why did you panic like that?" Dib asked curiously.

"... I... wait...what is your name?" Fiona asked him.

"I'm Dib Membrane," Dib introduced himself to the young princess, who gasped again.

"Oh, my apologies!" Fiona apologised to him as she did a royal curtsy, then stands straight, "I... I didn't realise I made a fool of myself in front of the hero of humanity."

"No, it's okay! Really!" Dib ensured her, "If anything, I should be the one apologising!"

"...Oh...okay then..." Fiona said, "...My full name is Princess Fiona Nova Misty Petal Ashworth."

"..." Dib stayed silent, making the young princess sighed.

"...You can just call me Fiona Ashworth," She told him, who nodded.

"Ah! Got it!" Dib understood.

"...So... mind telling me why you panicked?" Dib asked her, who looks around her again, then went back to her attention to Dib.

"...Can you keep this a secret?" Fiona quietly asked him.

"Sure," Dib nodded.

"Please be quiet...please..." Fiona begged him quietly as she gets closer to his ear and whispered, "... M...my family...wasn't exactly ideal..."

"What...do you mean?"

"... My mother clearly hates me... while my father sees me as a mistake necessary to save our bloodline..." Fiona told him, who tilted his head in confusion.

"...What do you mean?"

"...You do know my parents are actually siblings, right?" Fiona asked, which made Dib cringed with eyes widen.

"Ewww!!!" Dib screamed in disgust, "That's so gross!!!"

"...Trust me, I heard many outsiders have the same reaction as you, which I don't blame you," Fiona told him, "But...it's a family tradition to have the sister to marry the brother, if the heir is an only child, then they have to marry their cousin."

"...Are...are you an..."

"No...I actually have nine older siblings..." Fiona told him, "But... four of my siblings died while the rest are in hospital... knowing full well that they wouldn't live long..."

"...Oh god... I'm... so sorry..." Dib apologised to her, feeling sympathy for her.

"... It's okay... it's very common in our family and I'm sure my father realised this, so..."

"Wait...you're..."

"...Yes...I'm a bastard child of my father and our former maid," Fiona told him, "But... after my birth, his sister fired my real mother and pretended to be my mother, but I knew right away she's not my real mother considering she treats me as a tool and even admits I'm nothing like her... considering I have a slightly different hair colour from her and my dad, so naturally I knew I'm not her daughter..."

"...But that doesn't give her the right to abuse you!" Dib said.

"...I know... but what can I do?" Fiona asked, "She's a queen and I'm just a bastard child pretending to be her daughter even though I'm not. I never met my real mother and my father only see me as means to the end to continue the bloodline, so...my siblings are actually my half-siblings and I know they're secretly jealous, judging the way of they look at me, the fact that I'm the only one who can produce a proper heir and have a brighter future than them...they... I..."

Fiona starts crying, making Dib a bit unsure what to say, so all he decide to get closer and hugged her, catching her off-guard.

"D-Dib!" Fiona gasped.

"I...I'm really sorry that you don't have anybody to run to for help..." Dib told her, "I...I understand that pain all too well..."

"Y-You do?"

"...I never knew my mother when me and my little sister, Gaz were growing up while my father was a famous scientist who's rarely at home," Dib told her, "I always get bullied for my paranormal hobby and called insane, even my own sister beats me up every time she gets mad at me...all my life...I...I never have someone who I can call friend...heck, there's one guy who I thought was my friend, but... he betrayed me and called me crazy as well...now... the only one I can call family is Rebecca, who took me in after my father was murdered and Gaz went missing and I'm in her debt after she basically takes care of me..."

"...Dib..." Fiona muttered as she hugged back, "You...you don't have friends too..."

"You too?!" Dib asked in shock as he looks at her, who nodded.

"...Because of the 'rumours', everyone looks down on me for the suspicion of not being pure-blooded and refused to be my friends, even though I desperately want one..."

"...Then...we can be friends then!" Dib suggested to her, catching her off-guard.

"Re-really?!" Fiona asked as she starts crying even more.

"...Yes..." Dib said, making the young princess cracked a smile.

"...Tha...thank you Dib..." Fiona thanked him, "You...you have no... idea how much this means to me... to finally have a friend I can...rely on..."

"..." Dib smiled back as he starts to cry as well, "M...me too..."
