Ok. So,  with out any further ado, let's get start!

1. Username:

StarsAndFireflies_

2. Real name (if you don't want to disclose its okay) :

I'm Heer Mangtani. It's nice to meet you :)

You have a beautiful name,  Heer! And nice meeting you too.  **smiles**

3. Age:

18 (and a half– does that count? 😉)

**chuckles** Yes,  it does.

4. Where did you get the inspiration to start writing?

A very often asked question, and to be honest, I don't know because nothing in particular inspires me. Sometimes it's the world, sometimes it's what people around me love, but most times, it's emotions. Empathy is a very strong part of my nature and I think a lot of times, I draw inspiration from what people feel. How they look at the world, how they deal with pain. I love noticing small details and something in there often inspires me to write about it.

5. What are the things you do in your leisure time?

Leisure time... ah. Except college/studies, most of my time only goes in writing and editing. When I do have the exceptionally free time, I take up a good book to read or bake cookies. I'm also very appreciative of art, and so I draw and paint a lot. And then there's music. My love for music is infinite. ☺️

Wow that wonderful.

Can you bake chocolate chip cookies for me? **Puppy dog face**

6. What is the first work you wrote in this platform? What was the response you got for that work?

The first book I wrote on Wattpad was a very long time back, but the first real book that I even published and is still out there to read is His P.A. I was an amateur writer at that time and I'm not very proud of my grip over words, but the response was MASSIVE. Till date it remains my most loved and talked about book, and well, I'm everything I am as a writer because of that one. 💓

I have read His PA,  His wife and Hamesha.

Actually, don't hate me. Ok? But I started watching KYY after reading Hamesha.🙈

7. What is your prospective about teenage?

I don't think I qualify about talking about teenage owing I'm only eighteen, but if you ask me, I think it's the best phase of life. It was THE phase. You fall in love and get heartbroken for the first time, you make great friends, you lose some, you play pranks, cry and laugh for the silliest reasons, make tons of mistakes.. but at the end, you find yourself. Teenage is that phase that defines who you become. So my only advice to all teenagers is, don't be so hard on yourself. It's okay if you don't know who you are or what you want to do ahead. You have all life to worry about that. This is the point you have to do what makes you happy. Sneak out a little. Lie a little. Learn what your heart wants you to, no matter how stupid it might seem. Fall without the fear of getting hurt because only those who dare to fall when they're young manage to rise when they get older. This is your time. Let no one in the world tell you otherwise.

That was deep and beautiful.**smiles**

8. Is there any particular genre which you love to read?

I'm a sucker for all genres, but ones I love the most are Dark Romances with mystery. And then ofcourse, there's humor. I think we all must have that soft spot for goofiness in common, isn't it? 😁

**giggles** Dark romance and humor is EVERYTHING!

9. What are the favourite works either on wattpad or outside which you read in one go or found them interesting?

There are LOTS. Outside Wattpad, there's The Fault In Our Stars. I'm somehow still in love with that book. On Wattpad, I loved 'The Bad Boy & The Tom Boy', and the Myself series. It's an Indian series and for so long, I had literally been obsessed with Breaking Myself & Destroying Myself. Also, there's 'Everything happens at 2:00 A.M.', and 'Blackout'.

Yes!  Cahill brothers have my heart.

But ,I love Caleb as well.

10. What is the thing you see when you first glance at the book?

The Cover. I'm not very proud of this, because the saying goes 'don't judge a book by its cover', but I always do just that. It's usually the cover of a book that attracts me, and then the blurb. If we're talking about Wattpad books, I hate books that start with a character sketch. Writers, please don't do that. I personally consider it a big turn off. 🥺

We all want a good book with good cover.  Don't we?

11. What do you value the most in your life?

I'm still figuring that out. I think it changes from time-to-time but in this moment, I value nothing more than my mental health. I know that sounds incredibly selfish but as a person with anxiety who does a lot of overthinking and has also dealt with depression, I know that it is a loop, and it's taken me a long time to be able to get myself out of it, which is why I value nothing more than my mental health. Especially now in the lockdown that I have nothing much to do, I tend to do things only that make me happy. Some days, I shut my room door and dance alone until my legs give up,and some days I do nothing but stare out of the window and watch the stars. I've prioritised what makes me happy and I'm learning to love the world one step at a time and I only want to urge everyone else around me to do the same because what I very passionately believe in is: If you don't love yourself and do things that make you happy, how can you expect the world to love you or make you happy either?

That was deep and inspiring. **smiles**

12.What do you want to achieve in your lifetime?

I don't know. I consider myself too young to know what I want in life. I just hope that whatever I do and wherever I am, I'm as happy as I image my future self to be. 💛

And I hope and pray that all your wishes and dreams comes true.  **smiles**

13. What ways did Wattpad help you? Did it help you increase your potential?

I don't think I'd be anything if not a writer. It's such a huge part of defining who I am today that I literally can't image life without it. I'm so happy I wrote the first chapter I ever wrote, even as crappy as it was, and decided I was courageous enough to press the publish button. Wattpad has given me literally so much, but most importantly some very lovely readers, a lot of whom I even know personally now and am lucky enough to call friends. I'll forever be grateful to Wattpad for that.

Girl,  you deserve all the love that you are getting. You write AMAZING.

14. What are your expectations from readers?

I'm a writer that believes I write for myself, so naturally, I don't have a lot of expectations from readers except if they're reading my books constantly, it'll be great to hear from them once in a while. I love when random readers pop into my PMs talking to me about how they love what I had written in a previous chapter, and that's actually how I've found most of my friends on Wattpad. 💓

That's cool. **smiles**

15. What do you enjoy being the most a reader or an author?

Although being an author is a lot of responsibility, I love being that. It feels so good to know that there's someone out there waiting to read something written by me and that my words make a difference someone. The feeling is surreal. ❤️

Awe.  You deserve all the love.

16. Since how many years are you using Wattpad?

Four years and counting.

17. Any short message to the teenagers like you.

18. What do you think plays a major role in teenagers lives? Society or friends?

I think both. It should be just friends but if I'm being honest, society is quite pressuring too. Atleast for me personally as a teenager, I spent quite a lot of time wondering what consequences would even the smallest public actions have, and now I regret every minute spent thinking that way because society always talks. You do something good or something bad, they'd always talk and they'd always forget. It's best to do what YOU want, irrespective of what others think of you. No one can ever despise you for being who YOU are ❤️

Wow!  That was deep.

19. Is social media good for teenagers?

I think anything is over exaggerated on social media. Sometimes, teens might get over inspired. As long as they can tell the difference between the life shown on social media and the one people really live in, I think all's good.

Yes.  Totally agree to that.

20. Most of the teenagers make friends in many platforms. Do you think it is good or bad?

To a point, I think it's good. I can think of a lot of people who don't have a lot of friends around them, and they often use online platforms to fill-in on that loneliness. A little innocent friendship can do no bad, but that doesn't mean there aren't traps out there. You have to be extremely careful with trusting people online, and be cautious to not reveal personal details unless you've known the said person for a few years.

That's so true.

21.Few words about our community.

I honestly found about your community when you texted me for the first time, but if I might add, Nikita's been lovely and super kind. I think I'd love to know more and be associated with your community someday. ☺️💓

Awwww. That really means a lot.  Thank you.  And we would love to have you join us someday.  **smiles**

22. How did you feel giving us your interview? Do you want us to improve in any way or give any suggestions?

I think it was perfect. The questions were spot-on and some even brining light to much faced dilemma's in today's world. I loved answering your questions. Thank you for having me on!

Ah! It was my pleasure to interview you. Thank you so much for taking out time from your busy schedule and giving interview. That really means a lot.

23. U can ask me anything which is related to me or about our community?

I don't think there's anything I can think about in the moment but if I do, I'll be sure to message you about it. ☺️

Thank you! x

You welcome. **smiles**

Ok. So, this concludes our interview and we will see you next time with another wonderful, amazing teen author.

*bows down.

*curtains closes*

*snap her fingers and vanishes*
